Rung and quiet human friend with a difficult name

-It's definitely frustrating having a name that people keep getting wrong. It can also lead to all sorts of hassle when it comes to official documents, paperwork, awards, etc.

-It's happened so many times you've gotten used to it by now. It doesn't make it any less irritating, though.

-Being the quiet, reserved person you are, people often overlook or forget about you. When they do notice you, it's mostly to pester you about not talking or being too quiet.

-You become fast friends with the Lost Light's resident psychiatrist, Rung, recognizing a kindred spirit in him.

-He's one of the few who doesn't talk your ear off or push you to be more extroverted, or at least a little louder (Whirl likes to goad you until you snap at him in irritation). He does encourage you to speak up for yourself, though.

-You give him empathetic looks when the others call him by the wrong name or 'eyebrows'. He does the same when people mispronounce your name.

-The two of you officially meet in a corner at Swerve's, bonding over your shared troubles.

-He makes a point to pronounce (and spell) your name correctly, and you make a point to remember his name. It's a mutual appreciation thing.

-Many an eyeroll is had when the others continue in their name-mangling ways (Whirl seems to go out of his way to mess it up) but at least you're not alone in this.

-One time someone called out 'Ring /Rang/Wrong', to which you two simultaneously replied, 'It's Rung' (Cue startled looks and embarrassed smiles.)

-Vice versa, Ultra Magnus approached you and messed up your name (completely unintentional). Rung spoke up before you could, gently but firmly correcting him. UM was embarrassed, but you told him not to worry about it, it happens all the time. He apologized though, and made a point to get it right next time.

-You make sure the other is heard by getting the group's attention for you to speak. Under normal circumstances you would just keep quiet, but helping each other out seems to embolden you two.

-You're always looking to see if the other is there because you know what it's like to be forgotten, and you want to make sure it doesn't happen.

-If one of you is missing, the other will go find them, even if it defies orders.

-Seriously, you two are practically inseparable.
