NOPE

STILL GOING STRONG

I finally dug myself out of my nasty pit of writer's block, so my progress on Parallels is in full swing again

I've gotten a little more detailed with my planning, and figured out some of the parts that had previously been just a big shrug

It looks like the full book is going to be approximately 43 chapters long; shorter if I combine some things, longer if I add more things, both of which are possible.

For you readers, who are currently on chapter 10, this probably seems ridiculously long, what are you on, Rush

But to me, who is just starting chapter 28, this feels almost unbelievably achievable. I know what's going to happen, I know how to get there, and I know how to keep myself on track.

I'm hoping to finish Parallels in early to mid September. This is not an ultimatum, but it is a hope, cause y'already know how I feel about deadlines.

My motivation got really low for a while because I was getting lowkey depressed over the fact that basically no one was reading Parallels, despite all the time I've spent talking about it. It was really disheartening, to put what's essentially my best story yet out into the internet and having only a few close friends even look at it

But since then, I've decided to try my best to not care. Even if no one truly gives a damn about the extreme amount of thought and effort I'm putting into this story, I still do. I'm finishing this for me, and my love for MCSM

(That said, please read it,  I swear it's good lol)

Once I finish writing, I'm probably going to bump up my updating schedule to twice a week, though I need to consider that a bit more

I'm going to be starting to take college classes this year, which will put a damper on my writing ''''schedule'''', which is why I want to have as much of this done as I can before things get too hectic

But anyways

Parallels is going well and I'm unreasonably excited about what's to come 👀
