As Pepin was making his way back to his castle, Leo was running around the countries looking for the Dreamers. However, Alden and Neilina were trying to keep the peace around the countries. The two of them heard of Pepin running back to his house and decided to help him.

"Pepin! Are you ok?!" Neilina asked worriedly as she ran to him.

He was surprised to see her here.

"I'm fine, but what about you and your sister?" Pepin asked worriedly.

"She's fine. She's just writing" Neilina answered.

Pepin just nodded while Alden appeared on his dragon. He landed near them while Pepin was surprised to see this.

"Why are you running?" Alden asked.

"I was trying to get back to my house. I left Jetie someplace safe. What are you two doing here?" Pepin asked worriedly.

"We were watching over the world. It's still our job whether the people like or hate us. However, Leo is looking for you" Alden answered seriously as he crossed his arms.

Pepin felt ashamed a bit, but Neilina scolded Alden. Pepin looked at the youngest children with a comforting smile.

"Ok! Then it is settled. We will take Pepin back to his castle" Neilina answered seriously.

Alden just nodded. They began to walk back to the castle during the night. However, a soldier saw the group walking to the house. He ran back to a camp filled with soldiers and Leo.

"Sire! We found three Dreamers heading somewhere" the soldier said in a panic.

Leo just smiled as he gripped his compass.

He stood up as he ordered "Alright then. I want every soldier to surround them once they arrive at their location. I'll handle them"

The soldiers began to chase them deeper into the forest. Meanwhile, Alden, Neilina, and Pepin were making their way to the house. They were able to see a house in the distance.

"Is that it?" Alden asked.

"Yes! We made it!" Pepin cried in joy as he ran towards his house.

Neilina saw Alden began to cheer, but she felt something wrong. She looked around and saw someone coming!

"Pepin! Come back! Someone's here!" Neilina shouted urgently.

He stopped and saw more soldiers holding weapons coming towards him! He ran back to Alden and Neilina. The two of them locked arms as they faced the large army.

"What is this?" Pepin asked worriedly.

"This is a trap" Leo answered as he stood in front of his soldiers.

Pepin gasped while Alden and Neilina stood against Leo.

"Why are you doing this?" Alden asked simply.

"I want to make you all suffer for what you did to me! This will be your end!" Leo declared as he raised his compass.

Darkness and light danced around the compass to form an orb! The soldiers pointed their weapons around the three Dreamers. Pepin was scared as he stood up, but Alden and Neilina were ready to fight. Neilina looked at the orb and the soldiers around them.

"Pepin get ready to take their weapons away" Neilina whispered calmly.

He nodded as he shakily held his glasses. Alden and Neilina held their hands and shot a green beam at the orb!

"Now!" the two of them shouted.

The orb exploded and unleashed dark and light beams! Pepin pulled his hands towards himself, and the weapons were taken from the soldiers! Pepin then waved his hands sideways to cast the weapons away! Leo growled as he tried to grab his compass. However, Alden and Neilina shot another green beam at it! The compass was knocked away from Leo! He chased after his compass as he abandoned his soldiers.

"What do we do now?" one soldier asked worriedly.

Alden answered "You can return home. I don't want to hurt you"

The soldiers quickly returned to their homes.

"Pepin get to your house" Neilina ordered seriously.

He just nodded as he ran to his house.

"So, what are we going to do?" Alden asked confidently.

"We are going to find Leo and figured out what is really going on" Neilina answered

The two of them ran deeper into the forest. Leo was near a cliff as he was trying to reach for his compass. He was losing his footing on the rocks as Alden and Neilina were running towards him. Neilina wanted to rush out to his aid, but Alden held her back.

"What are you doing?! We need to help him!" Neilina shouted annoyed.

"Look at him! There's something dark about him!" Alden reasoned as he looked at Leo.

Neilina looked at Leo and gasped. Darkness poured for Leo as he continued to reach for the compass.

"Leo! Don't!" Alden shouted as they ran towards Leo.

However, the ground began to shake violently underneath them! Leo nearly fell off the cliff as he tried to grab his compass. Alden and Neilina held each other. The ground began to crack under them! Alden and Neilina held out their hands. Leo was shocked as he faced them.

"Come on! You're still our friend!" Alden encouraged.

"Don't give up! We want to help you!" Neilina said urgently.

A bright light shined from then as they tried to reach for them. Leo looked at the two of them in awe. They still wanted to be his friends. They were willing to forgive him for everything he has done to them. However, Lady Moon's voice echoed in his head darkly.

"Smart choice! We can finally destroy them!" she declared eagerly.

Leo's eyes were wide with shock. He couldn't let her win! He had to stop her! He looked over his shoulder, but he didn't see the bottom of the cliff. He was scared, but he knew this could work. He smiled at the two of them.

"Please save me again" he said with a smile.

He grabs his compass as the ground gave way! He fell down to the bottom of the abyss while Alden held Neilina back! They were both horrified about this. They couldn't understand why he would do this.

"Why did this have to happen?! Why did we deserve this?! Why?!" Neilina shouted as she began to wail.

Alden held her close as he silently cried. They didn't care if the soldiers were coming. This was terrible. However, a blue light covered them as the soldiers were running towards them. As Alden looked up, he was surprised. The solders walked passed them and observed the damaged cliff. They didn't seem to notice them.

"What's going on?" Alden whispered as he held Neilina close to him.

A person in white appeared before them. He was crying as he hugged Alden and Neilina.

"I am so sorry. I didn't want this to happen to you and others. I am so sorry, my precious Dreamers..." he wept.

The two of them were confused as they faced him.

"Was this not supposed to us?" Alden asked curiously.

"No. I planned for you and the others to have a wonderful life. However, one of my students followed me here. She did this to me" he explained sadly.

"Can we stop her?" Neilina asked curiously.

The man began to think and nodded. He placed the young Dreamers on the ground as he dried his tears.

"You can stop her again in another life. The two of you will take over your descendants and stop her" the man said calmly.

Alden and Neilina nodded, but the man was surprised.

"Why do you believe me?" he asked them curiously.

"You helped us and want us to live a happy life. That's nice of you" Alden answered with a smile.

"You also protected us from those soldiers. I'm Neilina and this is Alden" Neilina said calmly.

"I'm Celico. Let's work together to stop her and save Leo" he said as he extends his hands to them.

The two of them took his hands and were teleported away. The blue light vanished as Alden and Neilina found themselves back at their homes. The two of them were determined to save their friends and Leo from this terrible fate.
