Perry woke up in the morning and got himself ready for today. He went to the Commons and found Alex sitting in a chair. Perry walked up to him and sat down next to him.

"Are you ready to hear the tale?" Perry asked him.

"Yes!" he answered eagerly.

Perry continued the tale.

"Alright, I cannot wait to work in the palace with you!" cried a joyful Pierre.

It had been 7 long years in a small house for Pierre. He wanted to work in the palace. Solomon and Stewart convinced the council to let Pierre return to the palace and serve his twin sister, without her knowing who he was.

"I don't know why you are excited for this. I hate working for her!" complained Natalia as she grumbled.

Solomon say them coming into the palace and next to him, stood Serra. Pierre blushed. His twin sister grew into a quiet beautiful girl. Natalia quickly bowed and then she went to do her work for the day.

"Solomon who is this boy? He kind of looks like me" asked Serra as she walked around me.

He was blushing even more as she looked at him.

"He is not related to you, my princess. He is a servant in training" he answered her.

Pierre's blush was turned into a glare. He could not believe that his sister was still forcing their friends to call her "princess".

"So, who is he supposed to be with?" she asked Solomon.

"He will be your personal servant" he answered her with a bow.

"Oh! Goodie!!" she answered him.

Pierre gulped nervously. He didn't like the sound of this.

"Oh, what's his name?" asked Serra.

"I am Pierre" he answered her as he kneeled before her.

"Pierre? Ok! Prepare my favorite snack! Chocolate Cookies!" she ordered him with an evil smile.

He smiled and made his way to the kitchen. As he entered the kitchen, he found Natalia and Jessica talking and making some bread together. They soon stopped talking and looked at Pierre.

"What did she ask you to do?" asked Natalia as she placed her bread in the oven.

"How does the princess like her Chocolate Cookies?" he asked them.

Natalia and Jessica shrugged, but then he looked at the cook.

"I can make them for you" she said to him.

"Oh, thank you! Uh who are you?" asked Pierre kindly.

"I am Maggie" she answered him as she took out some coco beans.

She wore an apron and brown maid's outfit. She had blonde hair and blue eyes.

"The Chocolate Cookies should be done after 2 hours. Why don't you explore the castle? Something might have changed since you were last here, prince" suggested Maggie as she winked at him.

He smiled and then walked to the training yard to find Pepper fighting a young boy. She was strong with her lance while the man was powerful with his fire sword. However, his sword soon changed from fire to ice! Pierre was shocked! He kept a close eye on the man with the sword. However, Pepper broke her lance into two daggers and broke through his defensives. She pinned him to the ground!

"WOW!! Great job Pepper!" cried Pierre joyfully.

Pepper looked at Pierre, surprised.

"Hello Pierre! Welcome to the Palace!" she greeted him with a hug.

He smiled at his stepsister. He then looked at the young man with a changing element sword.

"Who's he?" he asked his stepsister.

"I am Jacob. I am a knight in the castle. Nice to you meet, Pierre" he replied to him as he retracted his sword.

"Hi! I am exploring the castle today! Well I will let you get back to your work. Have a nice day bye!" answered Pierre as he walked out of the training yard.

"Pepper are you going to talk to the Princess about the country life?" asked Jacob.

"I will. I have two days" she replied to him as she walked to the weapons room.

Joy, Jasmine, and Matilda were living in a small house, searching for the darkness. After looking for about 8 years, they had no luck. Jasmine didn't want to believe it was at the palace, but it was the only place left to check.

"Are you sure it is near the Palace of the Twins?" asked Joy as she crossed her arms.

"Yes, but we will need to pack our bags and travel to the Palace of Twins" explain Jasmine as she packed her things.

"Alright then let's get going Matilda" said Joy as she packed some clothes.

They didn't hear from Matilda, so she walked to the kitchen and found Matilda on the ground, in pain!

"Matilda! Are you ok?!" asked Joy as she kneeled by her friend.

Jasmine looked at them and then she waved her hand over Matilda. Her eyes opened and smiled at her friends.

"Joy, what's wrong?" asked Matilda as she looked at her and then Jasmine.

Jasmine walked out of the kitchen and began to think as Joy followed her.

"What's wrong?" asked Joy seriously and worriedly.

Jasmine turned towards her as she said "Your friend is sick. She cannot leave this area. If she does leave the area, the darkness may infect her and destroy her completely"

Joy was horrified by this revelation.

"Are you sure? She's strong! Maybe she can come!" argued Joy.

"And if she doesn't, will you be able to strike down your own friend if the darkness does grab her and control her?" asked Jasmine seriously.

She did not wish to leave her friend behind, but she does not wish for her to be in pain or lose her friend.

"Ok I'll tell her" she answered Jasmine as she sadly walked back to the kitchen.

Matilda smiled sadly at her friend as she spoke "I know. I will stay"

They hugged each other tightly as they cried in each other's arms. After a few hours, Matilda packed food and water for their long journey. She gave a small bag of food and water to Joy.

"Good luck, Joy. I hope we can see each other after the darkness is destroyed" said Matilda as she tried to smile and hold back her tears.

They hugged each other while Jasmin gazed forward onto a path.

"Joy, we need to head out" she said seriously and with a hint of sadness.

Joy nodded and waved good bye to her friend as they walked away from the house and towards the Palace of the Twins. Joy would walk back to the house and check on Matilda. Matilda decided to mend her garden one day, and she met a wonderful boy.

"You, stupid boy! It's a wonder why you are even alive!" cried a neighbor.

"I was just trying to head to my work..." he replied weakly.

Matilda created a shield spell around him as the neighbor tried to beat him using a rope.

"Please stop that" asked Matilda kindly and seriously.

She walked to young pale boy and then helped him up. The neighbor humped and walked away from them.

"Are you ok?" she asked him kindly and with a warm smile.

She extended her hand towards him. He shakily accepted her hand and stood next to her. He towered over her and was very pale and had sharp blue and green eyes.

"Yes, thank you. I'm Luke. Who are you?" he asked nervously.

"I am Matilda. I use magic that protects people and creatures from harm" she answered him with a calm smile.

He smiled at her as he said "Is there anything I can do to repay your kindness?"

"You can be my friend" she answered him, "Where were you heading?"

"I was going to the mansion my friend works at. I take care of his young daughter" he explained.

"May I see her?" she asked him eagerly.

"Ok sure!" he answered her as they began to walk to the mansion.

"Huh, Matilda reminds me of Minnie" commented Alex as he listened eagerly.

"Yeah you're right..." Perry replied to Alex as his voice began to shake.

Perry began to tear up as his heart began to hurt.

"Perry, are you ok?" asked a worried Alex.

He had memories of these events. These memories were not his. They did not belong to him, but he saw himself with Minnie in different clothing. He closed the book and wiped his tears away.

"It's nothing Alex" he told him.

The bell rang, and they departed for class.

Perry decided to skip his prep class and found Nina. She was walking to the math room, but he grab her arm.

"Can you take me to the Mysterious Tower please?" he asked her urgently.

Nina had never seen him in his worried state before. He was mostly shaking.

"Ok I will, but what are we up to?" she asked me as she summoned Wonder Light.

"I need to know something and Namine should know what I need" he answered.

Nina opened the keyhole as she looked at Perry. She didn't understand it, but she felt some sort of familiarity when she saw how worried Perry looked. They crossed over to the Tower and ran to the library. They found Namine reading and drawing her sketch book.

"Namine, why do I have Prince Pierre's memories?" he asked her seriously.

Namine jumped back a bit at my tone, but she smiled at him kindly.

"Isn't it obvious Perry, he's your ancestor" she answered with a smile.
