Pepper, Jacob, Natalia, and Maggie buried Pietro near Solomon and Stewart. They prayed for him, and they had to return back to the resistance army. Prince Jason was pleased to see his friends return, but his expression soon changed when he saw how sad his friends were. He couldn't ask them because Jasmine and Joy entered the base. They looked worried.

"We need to talk" Jasmine stated.

They sat at the table and everyone looked at her.

"Ok. There are items called the 7 Destructions. They roamed the earth and cause destruction, but they only activated one at a time. One of the Seven Destruction awoke in this time. That was Pride. Pride controlled Princess Serra one day. I didn't see the signs until it was too late" she paused.

There was silence in the room. Jasmine looked at everyone and no one seem to have any questions, so she continued to speak.

"I decided to find Pride and contain it. I used the cup of the late king as the item to contain Pride. Pride has been contained, but someone stole the cup" she said.

"Who do you think stole the cup?" Natalia asked.

"I don't know. However, I have something else to explain. I am a witch, and I had two students. One died. I used my powers to see her again, and she told me something frightening. She died by the hands of Jessica" she explained.

Everyone gasped and was in shock. Prince Jason couldn't believe it.

"Are you sure?! Who told you this?!" he asked her as he stood up.

"Matilda" she answered calmly.

Prince Jason was in shock. However, Pepper was concerned.

"Are you saying, someone set these events up?" she asked as she looked at Jasmine.

"I am not sure. Our next course of action is to head to England" Jasmine replied to her.

Everyone was silent.

"I will depart for England shortly. I hope all of you will help me end this fight. Joy! Let's go" Jasmine said.

Joy left with her master, and everyone else was left to think about their decision. Natalia thought and then nodded to herself. She clutched her wand and left for England. Jacob was impressed with Natalia's decision. He followed her.

"I'm going" Pepper whispered to herself and followed them.

Maggie glanced at Prince Jason. He was anxious about the next events to come. However, he stood up and decided to follow them. Maggie sighed to herself but smiled. She approached her friends.

"I think it is best if I stay behind" she said to them.

"What? Why?" Pepper asked.

"We left the country without a proper government. I will stay behind and tell you what happens" Maggie answered.

"Alright, but he safe" Jacob said.

"I will. Now, stop the true enemy" Maggie told them with courage.

They headed for the docks, but at that moment, Benjen and Natasha left their boat and headed for the palace.

"Alright, let's take a look around" Benjen said.

Natasha was eager and wandered around the palace. She found it odd that Princess Serra was left alone to rule the kingdom. She wrote down everything she saw in each room. Benjen was annoyed with her, but then he looked at the throne room. He wondered about the princess and her powers. After Natasha was done with her writing, they left the palace to look for an inn to stay in.

"Do you think we should ask that lady?" Natasha asked as she pointed to Maggie.

"Sure" he said to Natasha.

"Hello Ma'am! I am trying to find a place to stay! I can pay for food and water" Natasha asked as approached Maggie.

"Oh well, you can stay at my house. Everything is ruined currently. What about that man with you?" Maggie asked as she saw him.

"Oh! Yeah! Him too please!" Natasha said with a bright smile.

"Alright. You can stay at my house" Maggie answered as they followed her.

Luke took care of the girl with a fan every day. He knew she was in shock, but he didn't want to wake her to find the answer. Once she did awoke, she saw Luke looking over her.

"Who are you?" she asked with fear in her voice.

"My name is Luke. I found you unconscious near the harbor. Are you ok?" he asked her calmly.

"I'm fine. I had to leave France. My name is, uh, Sarra" she said to him as she held her fan.

"Alright Sarra, you are welcome to stay here as long as you need' Luke offered as he walked to the kitchen.

She nodded and held her fan. Luke began to make her some soup, but he heard a knock at the door. He answered the door and was amazed to find Jasmine at his door.

"Hi Jasmine! Need any help?" he asked her.

Sarra was scared when she heard Jasmine's name. She hid under the blanket and waited for her to leave. Luke noticed this.

"I need to talk to Matilda" Jasmine replied.

Luke looked behind her to see other people with her! He nodded and stepped out of his house. He showed them to the grave, but to everyone's surprise, there was a tree growing on her grave!

"I didn't notice that" Luke admitted.

Jasmine nodded and then she cast the spell over the grave. Matilda appeared again and smiled at them.

"Hi!" she said to her and then air hugged Luke.

He blushed while Prince Jason was shocked but smiled. He knew Matilda was happy with Luke.

"Matilda, we didn't come here for you snuggle with your lover. We need you to tell us who killed you" Jasmine said with seriousness in her voice.

"Alright, alright!" Matilda said with annoyance.

Sarra peaked from her window and saw them. She could hear them a bit.

"Well it was Jessica. I heard Pierre calling out to me, so I climb out of the cellar to greet him, but I saw Jessica instead. She stabbed me and then I died" Matilda explained, "By the way Jasmine, who are the other people with you?"

Prince Jason was shocked as well as Natalia, Pepper, and Jason. They were thinking why she would kill Matilda?

"I don't know why she killed me. All she said was for me to die and then ran off laughing" Matilda added.

"What did she stab you with?" Jasmine asked.

"Uh well a tiny sword" Matilda replied.

"Really? Are you sure?" Jasmine asked again with a hint of shock in her voice.

Matilda nodded, and Jasmine bite her lip. Joy noticed this and wondered why.

"There is more at state than I realized" Jasmine said to the group of friends.

"What is it?" Pepper asked.

"I will tell you soon. For right now, we need a place to stay" Jasmine replied.

"I know a family here that can loan us some rooms" Prince Jason offered.

"Thank you. Everyone let's head there. Luke, please join us" Jasmine asked "Also, Natalia, write to Maggie about what we have learned"

"Yes Jasmine" Luke replied as he walked back to his house.

"Got it!" Natalia replied cheerfully.

They followed Prince Jason to a nice and big mansion. Luke looked at Sarra. She was worried.

"You ok? Do you know those people?" Luke asked her as he looked at his stuff.

"I will be fine, but please don't leave me here alone!" she begged Luke.

Luke looked at her and saw her panicked face. He sighed.

"I won't leave you" he hugged her and replied.

"Thank you" she began to cry.

He held her until she fell asleep. He left her note explaining where he was going and went to the mansion. Everyone was sitting in the dining room, waiting for Luke. He embarrassed for being late, but he had a good reason.

"Now that we are all here, we need another talk" Jasmine stated as she crossed her arms.

"Another one?" Jacob asked, but was smacked by Pepper for his rudeness.

"Fine Jacob, do you have questions?" Jasmine asked him "I assume someone does"

"Well I do" Luke spoke up nervously.

"Go ahead Luke" Jasmine said.

"Is the short sword from the Story of Lust?" he asked nervously.

"You've read the book. Well, yes, I believe so. However, if you remember how the story ends, the tiny sword is lost to a powerful malicious being. That malicious being is reincarnated when another Destruction is around. This time the malicious being is after Pride, and he is using the Short Sword of Lust to get Pride" Jasmine explained.

"How do you know all of this?" Jacob asked.

"Well it's a long story" Jasmine spoke

Flashback

It was around the time Stewart, Solomon, and I meet each other. We three were tasked with finding the Destruction of that time and to find the short sword of Lust. A man tasked us this mission. The three of us traveled the world looking for the Destructions, but we could not find it. However, faith had another plan for us. We protected a king and queen from being killed by a group of thieves. They were traveling to England to meet Queen Nancee.

"So, should we help them?" Solomon asked as he looked at us.

"I believe we should. We may have greater access to information in the world" Stewart suggested.

"I agree with Stewart" I replied.

Solomon sighed with a smile, and we helped the king and queen to England. We became close friends with the King and Queen. We also became close friends with Queen Nancee. We were happy serving them, until we had to take the King and Queen back. The king approached us.

"Will you please stay with us? We would feel much safer with the three of you watching over us and our kingdom" the king requested of us.

We bowed to him and began to discuss if we should stay with them.

"I don't know. Will we be together still?" Solomon asked the king.

"Well yes. I would not like to split up the three of you" the king replied.

We happily agreed to be with the king and queen. However, our happiness did not last. We failed one mission one day and it was my fault. The king was left alone in his room while the Queen was giving birth to the twins. I was standing guard of his room. I noticed someone in a dark hood come over to me. I held my tome and launched spells at the person.

"Step aside" he said with a cold voice.

I wouldn't move, and I cast more spell at him. Stewart heard the noise.

"Solomon, guard the Queen" he ordered Solomon as he left.

Solomon was concerned, but Stewart ran to me. However, I was losing to the cloak person. He held a dagger and blocked all of my spells. He was ready to kill me, but Stewart quickly wrote down a command on his parchment and flying paper attacked the cloaked person.

"Are you ok Jasmine?" Stewart asked worriedly.

"I am" I said to him with a smile.

However, he was stab by the cloak person, and Stewart fell on me. I hugged him and cried out to him to not die. I did not realize the cloak person got pass me and killed the king. I fell into despair. The funeral for the king was held, and Stewart was healed. I could not forgive myself for the king's death. The Queen did not blame for his death. I could not face Solomon and Stewart again. I left a note to Stewart and Solomon and I left. I went to harness my magic and become stronger. Then I caught word of the Destruction at the palace, so I decided to stop it.

"I'm sorry" Jasmine finished.

Everyone was torn about this.

"You knew my mother" Prince Jason stated.

"Yes, I did" she answered him.

"My mother never mentioned you to me nor Jessica" Prince Jason replied.

Jasmine was shocked a bit.

"I think I know our next motive, but we need to make sure of a few things" Pepper stated.

Everyone looked at her.

"First, we will need Maggie's help. Natalia, write to her. Second, Prince Jason, can you check back with your mother to confirm she doesn't remember Jasmine, Jessica's behavior, the short sword's and the cup's whereabouts" Pepper ordered.

Natalia took out a piece of paper and began to write to Maggie.

"I shall do that" Prince Jason replied and left for his mother's castle.

Jasmine was impressed with Pepper's leadership. Luke decided to head back home and take care of Sarra. Meanwhile, in France, Maggie was talking with Natasha and Benjen. Natasha was a writing prodigy and wished to write about the accounts of France. Maggie complied to share her story with her, but she noticed Natasha looked similar to Natalia. She wondered if it was a coincidence but shock the thought and told her story. As Luke returned home, he saw Sarra fast asleep, so he went to Matilda's grave. He talked to the grave like as if she was actually there.

"Why are you talking to a tree?" Sarra asked coldly.

"She's my friend" he explained to her.

"You are friends with a tree?" she asked again as if he were stupid.

"No. Her grave is where the tree is growing. She's in the sky with another close friend of mine. Her life came to an end by Princess Serra" Luke explained sadly with a smile.

Sarra stayed quiet.

"Enough about me, why don't I make you some cake" he offered and walked to the house.

"I have a question" she asked meekly.

"Yes?" he replied curiously.

"Well, if I treated everyone terrible and did terrible things, would you still take care of me?" she asked.

Luke was concerned of her past life but did not pry.

"I would" he replied and went inside to make her some cake to cheer her up.

"Thank you" she whispered to herself as she walked back into the house.
