Everyone stood confused at Arnav laughing except Mami was sweating knowing Arnav was going to reveal her well kept secret soon.

"Your mother never gave me her jewleries because she wanted to....... She was forced by your father and even hated the fact that we lived with you...... If you think am lying then ask her. " Arnav said shocking everyone and they all turned time a shocked and sweating Mami.

"Maa..... Is this true? " Akash asked hoping it wasn't true because he knew that was his doom as Arnav will never forgive him for making claim to his hard work.

"I..... I..... I...... Don't know what you are talking about. " Mami denied but everyone knew she was lying and Arnav took predatory steps towards a nervous Mami and stood right in front of her.

"You do know what I am talking about because it was a sworn secret between us so that uncle doesn't get hurt or ashamed but since you are denying it, then I will reveal you truth to everyone and to uncle too. " Arnav said and Mami gulped knowing she is about to be exposed.

"Nannav...... What secret are you and Mami keeping? " Nk asked and everyone waited eagerly to know and Arnav turned to face them.

"You see Mami never wanted I and Mrs Jha to stay with her. " Arnav revealed and everyone gasped in shock and looked at Mami who looked down ashamed. "She only agreed only when uncle bought her jewelries....... Real expensive jewelries."

Everyone was shocked hearing this and Mami's demeanor was proof that he was telling the truth.

"Wait...... Is that the jewelry Mami gave you to sell to start your business? " Khushi asked and Arnav nodded.

"But fortunately enough it wasn't the money from the sells of the jewelry that started my business but a loan. " Everyone stood in shock hearing this.

"Nannav.... What do you mean?...... We all know Mami's jewelry started the business? " Nk asked confused.

"We all think it did but the truth is it didn't because I returned the jewelry just two days after Mami gave it up. "

Flashback.

Arnav got ready to go the pawn shop and pawn Mami's jewelry for cash to start his business.

He was so grateful for his uncle and aunt for understanding his passion to be a designer even though he was been mocked for it when he was in Harvard but now that he has graduated, he was ready to make his dream come true.

He moved towards his uncle and aunt's room to knock but stopped hearing Mami sobbing and uncle yelling at her but what he said next shocked Arnav.

"Shut up Manu....... You didn't want Arnav and Anjali staying with us and I bought you those jewelry as compensation for them to stay even after their mother was the reason you were accepted into the family after we elope, but look at you not wanting her children to stay with us....... Arnav has vision and someday you will also benefit from it but you refused to give him the jewelry and if I hadn't threatened to divorce you then you wouldn't have given up the jewelry...... You think I would have asked you to if I was financially stable in my business!........ I don't want to hear you complain or demand Arnav give it back or else I won't hesitate to divorce you. " Manohar threatened and walked into the bathroom.

Arnav was shocked and hurt by the revelation and moved away to his room and shut the door.

He couldn't believe his aunt didn't want them and was pretending all these years to like them.

He saw the jewelry on his bed and took it and moved out to find his uncle leaving to work.

He waited until he was out of the house and knocked on Mami's door.

Mami opened the door with a frown but she immediately changed it into a fake smile which didn't go unnoticed by Arnav.

"Mami...... I came to give your jewelry back to you because I don't need it anymore because the loan I was chasing after has been paid into my account so I don't need this anymore. " Arnav said with a smile thinking Mami will deny it but her glee disappointed him so much.

She snatched the jewelries away from Arnav and held on to them as if it was her life line.

She smiled looking at the jewleries but it dropped remembering her husband's threat.

"Hello hi bye bye Arnav bitwa....... Please let's keep this a secret between us...... If anyone asked you, don't tell them you returned it and don't tell them about the loan okay." Mami said and Arnav nodded. "After all if bit because of me, you and Anju will be on the streets. "

"Don't worry Mami....... No one will know. " Arnav promised and Mami slammed the door to his face and he moved away from there.

Flashback ends.

Everyone stood shocked hearing the truth about the jewelries.

"So ladies and gentlemen...... This is the true face of my so called Mami. " Arnav said and turned to Akash who gulped nervously. " So MR Raizada, you own no claim to my hard work and same goes for them...... Seeing how you were ready to lay claim to my hard work, I can't have you working for me any more. "

Everyone except Payal was shocked knowing what Arnav was implying.

Akash was about to retort but Arnav held up his hand stopping him.

"Don't bother because you are fired and I know from all the money I give you, you will be able to provide for yourself because from now on I am on longer spending a dime on any of you....... But I know you being the spineless prick and a coward, you can't take care of your family........ Such a pathetic excuse for a man. " Arnav mocked Akash who started fuming hearing his insult.

The others knew he was dead serious but were short of words.

Khushi moved forward and held Arnav's hand.

"Arnav it's okay...... Don't stress yourself because you are hurt and weak. " Khushi said and Arnav smiled at her and nodded and turned to Payal and Nk. "Nanhe...... Please call me a doctor and jiji..... Please can you prepare some light food for us. "

Payal nodded happily and was moving to the kitchen when Akash called out to her and moved towards her and turned to Khushi.

"Your husband has disowned as and therefore my wife is not obligated to be your maid. " Akash uttered in anger and the dummies nodded in agreement with him as Arnav fumed hearing him.

Khushi was about to speak when Akash felt himself turn and a slap landed on his face sending him to the floor.

"Don't you dare speak to sister and brothers like that ever again. " Payal threatened and Nk and Arnav were elated hearing her address them as her brothers and the others stood in fear seeing the timid Payal in a fierce avatar and she lifted her head to Khushi and Arnav. "Khushi go and clean up...... I will some coffee and snacks with Hariprakash while I prepare your favourites for you and Arnavji. " Payal said with a smile and watched the couple moved upstairs with a happy smile on her face but it turned into a scowl as he looked at Akash and his dummies and walked away.

Akash and his dummies stood in shock unable to process anything and Shyam was cursing Nk and Payal for ruining everything.

For the next three days, Anjali tried to speak to Arnav and manipulate him into believing that his kidnapping was done by Nk and Khushi because they were lovers but Arnav slapped and warned her making her angry and vowed revenge on Khushi.

Shyam was as usually doing anything in his power to paint Khushi and Payal as characterless and he did succeed with his dummies.

Payal took on a whole new avatar and now back answered them angering Mami and Akash and Manohar calling and disowning Akash and planning to divorce Mami after her returns made the situation worse.

Nani all this while was rethinking everything but didn't stop Mami and Anjali's absurd behavior against the sisters.

Arnav moved out of the bathroom and frown not finding Khushi on the bed like he left her.

He turned and saw her shadow casted on the wall and smiled.

He moved to the poolside where Khushi was standing and snaked his arms around her waist and Khushi leaned in feeling his warmth.

She turned and looked in the eyes but Arnav knew something was bothering her seeing her demeanor.

"Baby...... Are you okay? " Arnav asked and Khushi nodded but he knew she was lying and Khushi saw it and sighed.

She held his hand and lead him to the recliner and made him sit down as she pulled the center table and sat on it facing him.

"I love you so much Arnav. " Khushi said holding Arnav's hand but for some reason, fear engulfed his whole body which scared him and Khushi felt the shiver and wanted to stop but she knew it had to be done. "I have to leave this house. " Arnav was shocked hearing Khushi and his eyes started shimmering and shook his head and Khushi cupped his face and kissed his forehead. "Before you jump to conclusions, am not leaving you but this house because it has become too toxic for me and it's quite draining....... Am going back to Laxmi Nagar but I want you to stay here. "

Arnav shook his head and removed her hand from his cheek and kissed her hand.

"No....... Am coming with you? " Arnav demanded but Khushi shook her head.

"No you are staying here because there is a lot to be done....... First you have to protect your hard work and properties from them and I know my Arnav will find a way to punish them for this betrayal...... Nk was able to find the transfer papers and destroyed it but it doesn't guarantee that snake won't try again....... I know you can do it and find a way to make them realize the mistake they have done and get punished for it, I believe in you Arnav. " Khushi said and Arnav sighed knowing her mind was made up even though he didn't like it but nodded.

"I will only make you leave under two conditions. " Arnav said sternly and Khushi smiled and nodded knowing something like this was going to happen. "You will have bodyguards twenty four seven but they will be dressed in casual to not make you nervous and Mohan will now be your driver and they will follow you everywhere you go and no denying to do so. " Khushi nodded. "And finally........ I will visit you everyday until we are finally together. "

Khushi nodded and stood up and hugged her.

Arnav stood up with her in his arms and pecked her lips.

"I promise to make them pay for everything they did to us. " Arnav said as Khushi caressed his stumbles and nodded.

"Make love to me. " Khushi said softly and seductively and Arnav smirked and carried her in his arms and straight to the bed and he made passionate love to her all through the night and both slept contented.

The Next Day.
Arshi's Room.

Payal was hugging her sister crying as Nk and Arnav held her bags.

"I don't want you to go but I also understand you need some space but I promise to call you everyday and visit you and the family when I can. " Payal said as she broke the hug.

"Take care of yourself and Nk and this Lad Gorvenor. " Khushi said and Arnav's famous what the escaped his mouth and the trio burst out laughing at him as he twitched his mouth annoyed.

"Don't worry Khushi....... I have the dosage of his medicines and I will call you to scold him if he forgets and when at work because Mr Raizada, I have a special spy to keep me informed. " Payal said to Arnav who knew she was talking about Aman and Khushi and Nk giggled.

They all moved down stairs and found the dummies and their puppeteer Shyam sitting in the lounge.

They all looked at each other confused seeing the suitcases in Nk and Arnav's hand.

Khushi called out to Hari Prakash and he run up to them from the kitchen.

"Am leaving now but remember the instructions I gave to you. " HP nodded with a smile.

Puppeteer and his puppets were confused but happy hearing Khushi was leaving and they smiled at each other which didn't go unnoticed by them.

"Jiji...... I want you to rain hell on anyone who dares taunt or demean you. " Khushi said loud enough for them to hear and Payal smirked and looked at them.

"With pleasure. " She responded and saw Mami shiver in her seat and smirked but Akash was angry but she didn't care and moved out with Khushi and the others.

"Hello hi bye bye....... Pati Saree is now gone........ Now it's the turn of that so called wife of your. " Mami said to Akash who was fuming.

"Don't worry Maa...... She has grown wings because of bhai's support but I will clip them before they make an attempt to fly. " Akash said determined and they all except Nani nodded.

"I have an idea. " Anjali said and told them of her plan and they all except Nani nodded and smirked.
