A month later.

Arnav and Aman looked pissed off by what the police had told them as they stood in the hospital with Nk.

They had rushed to the hospital after they called that Akash has woken up after a month in a coma and he was under observation when the police came in to speak to them.

"So you mean to tell me sure a competent police force can't find two women..... It's been a month and God knows what they are planning....... My wife and sisters are on the urge and can't go out peaceful...... If it's money you then fucking tell me already and let me help because am not accepting this bullshit if you not being able to find them and to top it all off you have refused to let us hire a private investigator to do the job which your entire department of police can't. " Arnav exclaimed in anger and the policemen shuddered to see his fury and knew it was about time for them to let him hire the private investigator.

"We are sorry Mr Raizada... Mr Mathur...... We will allow a second party if that will help speed up the process of us catching them. " One of the policemen said and Arnav glared at him and signalled Aman who called a number and asked them to go ahead with their won investigation.

"I just called the private investigator to go ahead..... He will meet you are the station and help..... This is his number. " Aman said and handed a card to them and they tipped their hat and walked away.

"I swear to God I won't spare that witch..... Is it not enough what she did to my father, now she is about to sully his good name..... And she tried to kill Akash....... I swear I will make her pay for everything. " Nk exclaimed in anger and fisted his hair frustrated.

"Calm down Nk...... She is not worth you spoiling your life for..... Let the law handle her and Anjali. " Aman said calmly to calm him down and Arnav nodded in support.

"Good you are here." A familiar voice said and they all turned to find Akash's doctor standing behind them. "I have good news and bad news...... Mr Raizada just finished with his tests and the good news is..... His organs didn't fail like we thought they would. "

"And the bad news?" Arnav asked with a hint of fear in his voice and the doctor sighed.

"Unfortunately he is paralyzed from his waist down. " He replied shocking them. "It will probably take months to recover but with the right physiotherapy and exercise, he can live a normal life....... All of you can go and meet him now. "

The doctor walked away afterwards leaving the men with mixed feelings.

"I will call uncle and tell him Akash is up. " Nk said and pulled out his phone to call him but Arnav grabbed his hand and shook his head.

"If he didn't come when Akash was critical, do you think he will come now? "

Nk sighed knowing Arnav was right but he was confused why he hasn't come to visit Akash.

"I first thought it was because he was mad at Akash for what he did but now I doubt it...... It seems he doesn't care at all...... I thank God am an orphan because imagine having a mother who used you to climb a social ladder and a father who doesn't care about you and you also ruin the only relationship that cares about you..... Being an orphan is way better than this. " Aman said and Nk nodded and they both turned to look at Arnav who has been suspiciously quiet and sad since this morning and they knew it was in no way related to what's happening with Anjali and Anita bit something else.

"Arnav!..... Are you alright?...... Is there something you know that we don't know? " Aman asked and he sighed and pulled his phone out of his pocket and scrolled through it as they looked at him confused and curious.

He handed the phone to them and they saw Manohar with a woman and three young girls.

"I was disturbed that something had happened to him and asked one of the managers in Sri Lanka to look for him and he sent me this picture...... He has another family and that's his second wife and his daughters..... Not only has he been lying to us and visiting his other family in the name of business, but he has also been forbidden by his wife not to meet Akash." Arnav revealed shocking them.

They never thought a man like him will be capable of doing something like this.

"This is just low...... I get that Mami is bad and Akash has been a terrible husband to Payal but he was always a good son who even though was working at AR always made time to help in improving his business...... Akash's suggestions and ideas made his business what it is today and he betrays him like this...... I feel disgusted to have admired a man like him. " Nk exclaimed in disgust and anger.

"Arnav? " A familiar voice called out and they turned to find Manohar and the woman they saw in the picture standing with a scowl on her face and the three girls behind them looking remorseful and they all knew they heard everything.

"You have some nerve coming here especially with them. " Arnav exclaimed in anger and Manohar looked down in shame.

"Hey, you..... You can speak to my husband like that. " The woman threatened to snap her fingers at Arnav who glared at her and she shuddered and stepped back.

"Shut up Tanu...... You can leave because I didn't force you to come with us here..... I shouldn't have listened to you...... The money you enjoy all these years is because of Akash and I like a fool let you blackmail me to not visit him..... So just shut up. " Manohar yelled at Tanu who looked away nonchalantly.

Manohar turned to the men and he felt ashamed seeing the boys who once admired him look at him in disgust.

"I know no amount of apologies will make up for what I did...... I let other people's words influence me to an extent that I forgot Akash is the reason for my success...... My life is so messed up that I always get trapped by women who only care about money....... I w.... "

"Enough uncle. " Arnav yelled cutting him off and making the women flinch. "Enough with your excuses...... I get that Mami is not a good woman but you cheating on her and committing bigamy makes you a hundred times worse than she is and they are the proof of it. " Arnav said pointing at the girls who were silently crying. "I vouch with my life that Mami has always been faithful to you and you know it...... Yes she may be a gold digger but she never betrayed you like you did and look, the other woman is even worse than mami so what is the good reason when the second is far worse than the first and doesn't even feel ashamed to keep you away from the son responsible for your success...... You are no different from Arvind Malik. "

Manohar lifted his head and he widened his eyes in shock seeing Akash sitting in a wheelchair with his cheeks stained with tears and a blonde woman standing behind and his daughters' expressions were no different from their father and it confused the men who looked behind to find Akash and Natasha and three male nurses behind them.

Arnav, Nk and Aman moved closer to him and kneeled to his level and Arnav wiped his tears and shook his head.

"Bhai.....Why did you still love ?...... Why after everything I and maa did to all of you do you still defend us. " Akash cried out and Arnav smiled through his tears.

"Because you are family and no matter how much you mess up, it's your redemption and changing for the best that matters..... But why are you in a wheelchair? " Arnav asked diverting his attention.

"It's okay Bhai..... The doctor authorized it and I felt uncomfortable so I asked to be put in a wheelchair and Natasha happened to arrive and I asked her to take me out and am glad she did because I finally know I am an orphan and only have brothers and sisters who care so much about me without asking anything in return." Akash said and they looked at him confused and he smiled. "Natasha told me everything about how you are helping with not only the bills but the visits and love and care you all showered on me. " He smiled and they all smiled back.

"Akash? " Manohar called out.

"Please leave from here with your family...... As I said..... I am an orphan with parents..... My brothers are enough for me....... Natasha, please take me back" Akash begged and she nodded and wheeled him back to his room.

"Mr Raizada please leave with your family...... Yours and their presence will stress him and it's not good for him...... Akash is more than a brother to me and I will protect him with my life if I have to because he made me a brother and gave me a wife...... So please leave before I say something I might regret later. " Aman exclaimed angrily and he walked to Akash's room with Arnav and Nk following.

Manohar felt so miserable seeing this and he cried out in shame and pain for what he did.

"You how ungrateful and disrespectful they are you?..... I told you not to come but you referred to come and now see the way they have humiliated us. " Tanu spat out venomously and her daughters glared at her in disgust but knew their father needed them more to turn their attention to him.

"Don't give up Papa..... He just needs time and Mansi, Ruhi and Kara will help you win him back. "Mansi the eldest amongst the girls assured him and Ruhi the second nodded and so did Kara the youngest nodded in agreement reluctantly but Tanu rolled her eyes at them.

Manohar smiled and hugged his daughters and they reciprocated.

He broke the hug and saw two people, with one looking down and the other looking at him in disappointment.

It was Mami and Nani who had arrived just in time to also hear everything.

Mami walked briskly away from there and Nani threw a disappointed look at him and followed Mami.

" Am going back to Sri Lanka because I can't stand this disrespect. " Tanu said and her daughters glared at her and she walked away nonchalantly leaving her husband and daughters behind.

Second wife of Manohar and stepmother of Akash.

Mother of Mansi, Ruhi and Kara.

A selfish and opportunistic woman.

Eldest of Manohar's daughters.

Kind and caring unlike her mother who she hates and it's known by Tanu and everyone because of the way she always doesn't want them to meet Akash and her selfish nature.

Ruhi Singh Raizada.

Second eldest of the girls and also kind and caring like her big sister.
Loves her mother but not more than her father and also wishes to meet her big brother.

Kara Singh Raizada.

Youngest of the girls and spoilt but kind and caring and always wishes to meet her brother who is her role model.

Hates his father for cheating and deceiving Akash.

Hates her mother as she knows she is an opportunistic woman.
