Arnav moved down the stairs to the lounge and immediately Ridhi and Drashti sweet him, they immediately stood up and rushed up to Arnav.

"How is she? " Ridhi asked in concern and Arnav sighed signalling them to sit.

"She is fine and fell asleep and wouldnt stop blaming herself........ When am to be blamed. " Arnav said.

"Well you are right....... Ash told me everything about you and Khushi and in my opinion you are a ninety percent to be blamed but you are both together now and that's all that matters but am worried about Raqesh...... If the rumors about the girl who once rejected him was found dead after he threatened her is true then I don't think Khushi is safe. " Ridhi revealed and Drashti nodded and Arnav was shocked hearing a person like that is close to Khushi.

"What the?....... But he is your friend. " Arnav exclaimed and Drashti and Ridhi were taken a back.

"He is not our friend but a colleague at the school and to tell you the truth I don't like him. " Drashti voiced out and Ridhi nodded.

Arnav also felt the same and he wasn't going to let him go scout free especially after he made Khushi cry.

"I don't like him either and he reminds me of my ex brother in law....... I will have my friend have a background check on him and I think it better if the Guptas come here. " Arnav said.

"It's a good idea........ Khushi needs every support she can get now and I know she will be happy to see them especially Shashiji....... I and Ridhi live on the second floor....... And if you need any help..... Don't hesitate to call us. " Drashti said and stood up with Ridhi.

"Take care. " Ridhi said as they exited the apartment and Arnav locked the door and moved to the bedroom.

He moved to the bed and sat down watching Khushi sleeping.

He leaned in and kissed her forehead.

"Am so sorry my love...... I promise to make that bastard pay for making you cry. " Arnav said and felt Khushi's belly move under the sheets and he smiled and kissed her belly and slept by her.

Sinclair Retreat.

Raqesh entered the room and was so happy to see his brother after so many years and he rushed up to him and hugged him.

"Where have you been? " Raqesh asked and Shyam signalled him to sit down.

"Hustling but now I have enough money to settle down and am not leaving you ever again. " Shyam assured him and he nodded with a smile. "I thought you will be mad at me but you look like you ain't. "

"I was but I guess you are a grown man and can do whatever you want and I also know you had to leave to find a better life but I guess you didn't that's why you never contacted me until now."

Shyam nodded and smiled at him.

"So what have you been up to since I left?" Shyam asked .

"Well I got a scholarship to study at a teacher's training college and am now a teacher at one of the best school in India here in Ooty...... And life has been good. " Raqesh replied but Shyam sensed he was hiding something.

"Raqi...... You are hiding something from....... What is it? "

Raqesh sighed and Shyam immediately knew it was something serious seeing his eyes tears up.

"I love her so much bhai but she refers her rich bastard womanizing husband over me and humiliated me today. " Raqesh cried out making Shyam's blood boil. "I want her bhai and please help..... Please help me get her. "

Raqesh begged on his knees with tears cascading down his cheeks and it shocked Shyam who knew his brother was really in love this woman and was determined to make him be with her and if it means killing that so called husband then so be it.

Shyam made him stand up and cupped his cheeks and wiped his tears.

"Now who is she and where does she live? " Shyam asked not knowing he was about to get the shock of his life.

"Her name is Khushi. " Raqesh replied totally lost in Khushi's name to notice the shock on Shyam's face.

"Stop thinking to much...... It can't be your Khushi..... So pipe down. " Shyam thought and saw his brother pull out his phone and handed it to him.

He widened his eyes in shock seeing the picture.

It was a picture of Khushi and his brother and Raqesh looked at his brother confused seeing his shocked expression.

"Bhai....... Do you know her? " He asked breaking Shyam's reverie.

Shyam run his hand through his head unable to digest the fact that his brother was also in love with the woman he loved.

"Yes.... I know her...... She is the wife of ASR. " Shyam replied and Raqesh scoffed.

"Yes I know...... That man has just arrived and Khushi is all over him like a love sick puppy. " Raqesh revealed shocking Shyam.

"What?...... Khushi and ASR are here in Ooty? " He asked in shock and Raqesh nodded.

"Khushi is a teacher at my school and ASR is back after abandoning her and her unborn child and she like a fool forgot all the help I gave her and is now back with him. " Raqesh exclaimed in anger totally oblivious of Shyam's pale state.

"No it can't be...... My Khushi is pregnant with Arnav's baby and he is also here..... And to top it all off my brother is in love with her...... Why is my life so cursed?...... I have to find a way to make Khushi mine without betraying my baby brother..... Now calm done before he suspects anything because he is very dangerous and covers it with his innocent look. " Shyam thought and composed himself.

He moved closer to his brother and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Forget her brother. " Shyam said and Raqesh turned towards him in anger and shoved his hand away in anger making Shyam gulp and move backwards as Raqesh took predatory steps towards him.

His back hit the wall and Raqesh's face and his were few inches away.

"She is mine. ..... Only mine and no one...... I mean it and anyone who come between us is dead you hear me...... Dead and you will help me. " Raqesh yelled out sending shivers down Shyam's spine.

"Fine..... I will help you but come down for now because you are dealing with a really dangerous man and we have to be careful in our planning if you want her. " Shyam said and Raqesh nodded.

Shyam was in a fix and was confused with the situation and he was scared because he knew how wicked his brother is because he has seen him commit the most worse atrocities and he knew better not to double cross him but this was about his Khushi and he wasn't going to back down even if it means doing away with his brother.

Delhi.

"I can't wait to meet my little girl. " Shashi exclaimed in happiness as Garima packed their bag.

"Shashi." Garima called out and he hummed in response. "Do you think Khushi will finally forgive me and Madhu because I know she is still mad at us because of what we did..... I am really repenting and want to be the best but I don't want her to keep hating me. "

"But it's not enough Garima...... I know you neglected Khushi because of my sister and I also failed to stand up properly for you but you didn't do right with Khushi...... Payal is your stepdaughter and yet you cared more about her than your blood sister's daughter and it hurt me so imagine Khushi...... We all some way or somehow took advantage of her selflessness and so please don't force her to forgive you because it won't be genuine..... Let her do it on her own accord..... Understood. " Garima nodded. "Now hurry up...... Arnav's jet is waiting for us and I can wait to see my baby girl. "

Shashi exclaimed in excitement and Garima smiled at him.

Unknown to the two, their door was slightly opened and buaji heard everything.

"I heard Amanji talking to Arnavji and he wants all of them to come to Ooty because Khushiji is pregnant and he wants to surprise her by getting all of them to Ooty...... That's the only information I could get...... Sorry sir I have to give now. " Raju said and cut the call and a shocked Akash slammed onto the chair closer to him.

But Anjali who has just arrived from her workplace was fuming in anger hearing this.

"I have to go to Ooty. " Akash said shocking everyone.

"I haven't Dadi. " Akash yelled out in anger making Mami and Nani flinch. "But am not going to let that Aman take my wife and son away from me and if they are far away then he will definitely succeed and I won't let that happen. "

Anjali smiled knowing this is a perfect idea to put her plan into action.

Arnav sighed seeing Khushi looking at moody and nothing he did was able to console her or make her forget what happened yesterday and it made Arnav hate Raqesh more.

The door bell rang and Arnav smirked which didn't go unnoticed by Khushi and she frown.

"Go and open the door. " Arnav said and Khushi glared at him and stood up and opened the and he eyes widened in shock seeing Shashi at the door.

And her eyes teared up seeing her father after so many months but what surprised her the most was he was standing with a cane.

"Babuji." Khushi cried out and hugged him.
