*The second battle of the Practice Tournament was about to begin and Valt Aoi stared at Athena who was surrounded by a golden Flare. Athena picks up her bey and the her eyes began to glow*

Athena: Well, what do you think? Do you think you'll be able to defeat us now?!

*Valt smiles as he picked up his bey as he began to smile.*

Valt: Yeah, We'll burst Adeona in one shot!!

*Athena took her position as did Valt as the second battle was about to begin*

Referee: Second Battle!!

Athena: I'll continue with Defense Mode and I'll beat Valt for good in this battle!!

Referee: Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*The beys land in the stadium and both beys kick things off with a fierce clash*

Athena: Give them all you've got! Adeona!!

Valt: Push them even harder!!

*Both beys go flying and Adeona was wobbling slightly as Valkyrie chases after it with full speed*

Athena: What is with that speed? I've never seen Valkyrie go that fast before ever!

*Valkyrie was speeding up even more as it was charging up for a major blow*

Valt: Valkyrie!!!

Athena: Adeona! Watch out!!

Valt: Send them flying! Brave Sword!!

*Valkyrie sends Adeona flying out of the arena with full force and it burst into pieces and they hit the ground with a clang

Athena: Tch..

Referee: Brave Valkyrie with an Burst Finish! Valt Aoi is awarded 2 points!

*Athena clenched her fists as she was starting to get super frustrated but she immediately calmed down as she smiled*

Athena: I wouldn't expect anything less from Valt but we'll win the next battle for sure.

*Valt stares at Athena with a smile as he prepared for the third battle. Athena set her Chassis into Attack mode and both bladers took their positions*

Referee: Third Battle! Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and circle around the stadium at full speed*

Athena: Adeona!! Full power!!

Valt: Valkyrie! After it!!

*both beys clash and bolts of purple and blue erupt from the stadium as both beys were locked in a fierce back and forth duel*

Athena: Push them back!!

*the clash continues but this time, Adeona was starting to push Valkyrie back up the stadium*

Valt: Go Valkyrie! Let's do this!!

*Valkyrie gets away as it heads up to the 3rd level and began to gain incredible speed and momentum. Athena watched in shock at Valkyries burst of speed! Valkyrie heads back into the stadium as it slams into Adeona and knocks it high into the air*

Athena: we're not done yet! Adeona!!!

*Adeona recovers and it comes back in for the blow and sends Valkyrie flying thanks to its bound wings*

Valt: Valkyrie!!!

*Valkyrie recovered too and rushes back in for the attack as its swords began to glow*

Valt: Brave Sword!!!

*Athena suddenly screams out as her golden Flare surged and grew even more. Lane watched in shock as he felt his heartbeat pound loudly. Adeona turns completely gold and it slams into Valkyrie at full force but it was no use as Valkyrie burst straight through Adeona as its pieces were sparking with electricity. Athena gasps in shock as the pieces flew in front of his face*

Athena: Impossible..!

Referee: Brave Valkyrie with a burst finish. Valt Aoi wins with a score of 4-1!!

Valt: Alright!!!

*Athena fell to her knees in despair as Valt was now given the title of Practice Tournament Champion. Lane watched from the stands as he clutched his heart*

Lane: What was that feeling just then..

---Later that day---

*Athena went to the bow of the ship as she stared out to the beautiful sea. Shu came out with her*

Shu: Your battle today with Valt was pretty exciting, you definitely had him on the ropes.

Athena: Yeah, I just wish I could've had a chance to win because I never did.

Shu: I'm sure you'll beat him again one day but you have to train for it.

Athena: Adeona only has 1 final awakening left, once we awaken once more then we'll be stronger than ever.

*Shu looks down at Athena and smiles and turns and walks away.*

--Later that night--

*Valt looks up at the night sky and Shu comes up and stood next to him.*

Valt: Shu...

Shu: It's great to see you again Valt but there is something i need to talk to you about something.

Valt: Well alright, what is it?

Shu: You know how Athena is the light and Lane is the darkness right.

Valt: Yeah, what about it?

Shu: Well i've been thinking if this is the case, the light and the dark always have to have someone that is in-between: The one who uses the Light and the Darkness.

Valt: You think Athena and Lane have another sibling?

Shu: Unlikely, if there was then Athena would've told me about them unless it was a private matter. Either way, even if there is another Valhalla sibling; what worries me is that whether or not they are good or bad. The last thing the Blading world needs is another Lane.

Valt: Shu..

---The Next Day---

*Lane walked back onto the boat and he went to the lower deck where Zac The Sunshine was. When he gets there, Zac was there at a stadium*

Zac: I had a feeling you would be coming, you must be Lane Valhalla.

Lane: You are one of the last legends i need to face for my Flare to reach its maximum. When i destroy Zeus, my Flare will be stronger than ever before.

*Lanes eye began to flash with a yellow then a purple light as his Flare began to glow to life. Zac simply smiles as he gets ready to launch*

Zac: You can go on about your Flare all you want but the only sun that will shine in the sky is me.

*Both bladers took their positions and the battle began*

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*Both beys land in the stadium and Zeus took the center immediately and Lucifer came rushing for the attack*

Lane: Send it flying!!

Zac: Cosmic Thunder!!

*Zeus' metal balls extend and it increases its momentum and defense and Lucifer clashes into it but it gets stopped due to the intense momentum coming off of Zeus. Lane watches in surprise as he starts to get a bit frustrated*

Zac: When the metal balls in Zeus' ring expand, its center of gravity shifts and its momentum intensifies.

Lane: I don't care what your bey can do, it'll be destroyed by my hand!!

*Lucifer starts unleashing a fierce barrage of deadly attacks but Zeus didn't seem to be affected by any of them at all*

Lane: W-What's going on?!

Zac: Looks like your time is up my friend.

*Lane becomes outraged as his Flare burned to life and it swirled and flowed around him as he finally started getting serious*

Lane: Let's end this! Lucifer!!

*Lucifer entered its Flare and it began to get even faster*

Lane: True Emperor Disaster!!

*Lucifers blades glowed and it slams into Zeus with full force and finally managed to knock it back but it was no use as it was able to recover and not lose any of its speed*

Lane: W-What the..?! It was able to endure my attack?

Zac: Time to shine! Zeus!!

Zac: Rolling Sun!!

*Zeus comes back in and knocks Lucifer high into the air and it burst. Lane was in horror as the pieces of his bey fell to his feet. Zac smiles as he picks up his bey and stares back at Lane*

Zac: You're not half bad but your overconfidence was the fault of your defeat.

*Lane picks up the pieces of his bey and left. He stares off into the distance as he looked down at his bey with a fierce smile as his Flare overtook him*

---Later that day---

*Athena went into Wakiyas office and Wakiya was there too*

Wakiya: Athena? What is it?

Athena: I have something for you.

*Athena placed a blueprint on his desk. She had made a design to replace Wakiyas old Wyvern.*

Athena: I feel like I should make up for destroying your old bey, i should be the one who has a bit of input in its rebirth

*Wakiya takes a look at the new Wyvern design and he inspected each and every aspect of it.*

Wakiya: Free spin with rubber impact with a 1D Chassis, Around Disk and Just Driver.. Looks like it was pretty well thought out..

Athena: I decided to call it Jet Wyvern but you can call it whatever you want, it's your partner after all.

Wakiya: It's perfect. I'll make it as soon as i can.

Athena: Great! Anything you need from me?

Wakiya: Well i do have some great news for you and i think you're gonna like it.

Athena: What is it?

Wakiya: Because you and Valt did so well in the Practice Tournament, i've took it upon myself to have you too battle once again but this time, you 2 won't face each other right off the bat.

Athena: What do you mean?

Wakiya: You'll be facing Zac and Valt will be facing off with Lane.

Athena: I see.. and whoever wins those matches will face off in the "Finals" right?

Wakiya: Correct. i have faith you and Lane will not disappoint as always.

*Athena nods and she turns to walk away but Wakiya calls after her again*

Wakiya: and i heard about Adeona's new awakening, i can't wait to see what Adeona will be like when it finally awakens.

*Athena nods and smiles as she turned to walk out of his office and she went to go train. She later comes face to face with Lane*

Lane: So you'll be facing off with Zac huh? Good luck, because you're gonna need it.

Athena: I'm already aware that you faced off with Zeus and i have knowledge on how to beat it.

Lane: Is that so because last time i checked, you lost to Zac even worse than i did.

Athena: Things will be different and Adeona is getting super close to awakening again.

Lane: Awakening?

Athena: Daina awakened my Semi-Bound mode and you awakened my Full-Bound Mode at the Snake Pit and now Zac will be the one who awakens Adeona into its True Ultimate Mode.

*Athena held up her bey as it glowed slightly*

Athena: and once its awakened to its fullest potential, i'll defeat you once and for all Lane!

*Lane simply turned and walked away*

Lane: You can try but the only outcome is that i will destroy Adeona in the end.

Athena: More like yourself, the only one being destroyed is you.

*The next day came and it was time for Athena and Zacs new match. Both bladers step up to the stadium and Athena stared at Zac with a fierce look*

Athena: Zeus can increase its momentum with its metal balls.. if i'm gonna defeat it then i gotta find a way around it, Adeona.. we'll awaken in this battle for sure..!

Zac: In this battle, i'll show you what true stamina and defense looks like!!

*Zac points his finger at Athena and she watches with a serious look on her face. Athena begins to glow with her flare as their battle was about to begin*
