*the first battle had ended with Lane taking the first point, his evil flare burned as he stared at Valt who had picked up his bey and stared back at him*

Lane: Dont tell thats the best you can do.. Valt Aoi!!

Valt: That Flare... Its just pitch black.. Can this guy even be beaten?! 

*Lanes eyes turn purple as the second battle started*

Referee: Second Battle! Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!

*The beys landed in the stadium, Valkyrie dashed up onto the Upper Deck and touches the rim and reaches maxium speed*

Lane: What're you planning?..

Valt: Go Valkyrie!! Full Power!!

*Valkyrie kept speeding up!! At this point, it looked like Valkyrie was invisible from how fast it was going!! Lucifer however was already running out of stamina and its barrier was slowly closing*

Lane: Damn it!! Attack already!!

Valt: Alright! You asked for it!! Attack, Valkyrie!!!

*Valkyrie zooms ahead and slams into Lucifer, sending it flying and burst, leaving Lane incredibly speechless*

Referee: Brave Valkyrie with a Burst Finish!! The score is now 1-2!!

*the crowd went wild at Valts incredible comeback! Athena was surprised as well.. Flare Lucifer had burst and without any effort either!*

Lane: Valt Aoi.. You will now face Lucifers true power!!

*the Devils Mark on Lanes shoulder opened up and the same black markings appear all over Lanes body and face*

Demon Lane: Now.. Let the bloodshed begin!! I'll smash Valkyrie into many pieces!!

Valt: Try as you might, but that will never happen!!

Referee: Third Battle!! Ready Set!!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!!

*the beys landed in the stadium once again and Lucifer was using Counter Mode this time*

Valt: So its going to attack with Counter Mode? Interesting..

Demon Lane: Destroy it!

*Lucifer swoops in and unleashed a vicious blow on Valkyrie*

Valt: Get out of there! Valkyrie!!

*Valkyrie tries talking escape but Lucifer kept up and never let it through*

Demon Lane: You're not going anywhere!!!

*Lucifer kept nailing Valkyrie with rapid and damaging attacks*

Valt: Full Power!!! Valkyrie!!

Demon Lane: Destroy!! Lucifer!!

*Lucifer sped up as its Flare glowed and resumed its devastating assault on Valkyrie*

Valt: Valkyrie!! Get out of there and counter with Brave Sword!!!

*Valkyrie broke free and came back around for a huge attack!!!*

Demon Lane: THIS IS WHERE YOU PERISH!!! FLARING HARBINGER!!!

*using all of its contact points as they glowed, Lucifer slams into Valkyrie as a beam of purple light erupts from the stadium. When the beam disappeared, Valkyrie had been burst*

Valt: No Way!! Impossible!!!

Referee: Flare Lucifer with a burst finish!! With a score of 3-2, Lane Valhalla wins and moves on to finals!!

*Athena fell back into her seat in shock as she stared at the screen above, a very traumatized look flew across her face as she clinged to Elaina who was also shocked at the power her son possessed. Lane unleashed a vicious roar that shivered Athenas spine as she sobbed into her mothers side..*

*later that evening, Athena sat on the beach with Elaina as they talked for a bit*

Athena: That Flare is gonna break him.. I need to win tomorrow no matter what!

Elaina: You got this sweetie, i believe in you.

Athena: Thanks mom! You know Im so glad your here with me.. Ive been meaning to tell you this but.. i just wanted to say how much im grateful to have you not just as my mother but my best friend, you are always there when I need you and you always comfort with your gentle voice and loving snuggles. I guess what I'm trying to say is.. I love you! I love you more than anything in the world!

*Elaina wiped a tear from her eyes and pulled Athena into the biggest hug imaginable*

Elaina: Oh Athena! You sweet little baby girl i love you too!! And I know you're scared, but just know i'll be in the crowd cheering you on every step of the way.

Athena: Thanks mom.. I needed to hear that.

Elaina: Let's go home alright? Got a big day tomorrow.

*Elaina picks up her daughter by piggyback and carries her back to Shus' apartment.*

-----The Next Day, May 16th, 2021: The Day Of The Finals-----

*the day of the finals was here and the battle was broadcast all over the world as Athena went up the lift to her match.. And her destiny. When she got to the top, she and Lane walked to the stadium*

Lane: You again huh?. Lets see if you can entertain me this time..

Athena: Im not a toy to screw around with Lane.

*Lane pointed his finger directly at Athena*

Lane: I'm not playing around today! I'll send Adeona to the depths of hell where it belongs!!

*Athena frowned, this match was not off to a great start*

Referee: First Battle!! Ready Set!!

3 2 1 GO SHOOT!!

*the beys landed in the stadium and Lucifer was in Free Spin Mode*

Lane: Now come at me, i dare you!

Athena: Let em have it! Guiding Shoot!!

*Adeona unleashed a massive attack barrage, knocking Lucifer around as it tried forcing the barrier back*

Lane: No way..! What incredible speed!..

*Adeona continued its assault on the barrier, until Lucifer tilted on its driver and skidded away*

Athena: No you don't! Get back here!!

*Adeona managed to catch up and started shoving Lucifer around the stadium, forcing the barrier to scrape on the stadium floor*

Lane: Stop It!!

Athena: Whats wrong? Getting mad?!

*Lane was now getting pissed as his Flare flew out*

Lane: Know your place you piece of trash! On your feet Lucifer!!

*Lucifers flare glowed as it escaped Adeonas grasp*

Athena: Shine, Adeona!! Shine and burn his darkness away!!

Athena: Guide Slash!!

*Adeonas swords glowed as it accelerated towards Lucifer!*

Lane: Flare Wall!!

*Lucifers barrier guards against Adeonas assault as a twister forrmed, Adeona was caught in the vortex and it burst*

Athena: Impossible!!!

Referee: Flare Lucifer with a burst finish, Lane Valhalla gets 2 points!!

*Athena was shocked at her loss, she picked up Adeona and stared at Lane with a fierce look in her eyes which took Lane by surprise a bit*

Athena: Lane..!

Lane: Is this all you got? What a pathetic excuse!

*Athena was not having his shit today, she puts her bey back on the launcher and prepares for the 2nd Battle.*
