During the Age of Empires, the Austro-Hungarian Empire ruled with pride. The royal family was proud of their accomplishments so far! However, one day, the royal family was visited by a mysterious man in a black coat.

"I have come to deliver a warning" he said as he kneeled before the king and queen of Austria and Hungary.

The rulers allowed him to speak.

"Do you love your kingdom and children?" he asked them calmly.

"Of course, we do. Why wouldn't we?" the queen said amazed.

"For the safety of one of your children, you should be cautious of one of them. When they begin to have an unruly appetite, send them to a castle near, yet far from you. That is the only way you can truly save your children and kingdom" the man said with a wicked laugh and disappeared in darkness.

The king and queen were very worried now. They had three young children recently. There were two girls while the other was a boy. The eldest girl left the life of royalty and lived peacefully in Austria and had a family. The second girl was the older sister to the boy. The rulers decided to hold a meeting with their trusted advisors.

"I believe we should just wait to see what becomes of the children" a man with chocolate brown hair suggested.

"I don't know, my husband. I don't want anything bad to happen to our home" his wife said seriously.

The advisors soon began to riot and shout out their own opinions. The king was furious and stood from his seat.

"EVERYONE SHUT UP!" his voiced boomed.

Everyone was silent.

"Alright. I will wait to see how my children behave. If one of them acts out of line, I will send them to a castle away from here!" the king declared as he stormed off.

His wife followed him along with chocolate haired man and his wife. The king was very distressed. His wife hugged him soothingly.

"I only wanted a peaceful life with my family. Is that so bad?" he murmured quietly.

The man with his wife left.

"Roderich, please don't worry. I am sure this is nothing too serious" his wife reassured as they walked to their house.

"I hope so Elizabeta. I don't want anything to happen" Roderich said worriedly.

As the king and queen arrived home, they soon saw a young maid carrying clothing to their daughter's room.

"Joni, is Magdalena ok?" the queen asked worried.

"Yes, she was just eating a meal. Her outfit was messy, so I decided to get a new one for her" Joni replied with a bow.

"Thank you, Joni" the king said as they entered the room.

However, the site before them was horrifying. Magdalena was eating all of the food in the room. Her little brother was crying in a corner as Magdalena wouldn't stop eating. The king was horrified and decided to make plans to help his family. He moved Joni and Magdalena to another castle and his son would inherit the throne. One day, there was a feast in honor of another successful harvest. A mysterious figure was spotted in the kitchen and disappeared. At the time, no one suspected anything, but once the king ate his meal, he collapsed! His wife quickly rushed to his side as Roderich examined the meal.

"It's been poisoned!" Roderich exclaimed.

The cooks quickly went to work and disposed of the food. Medics rushed to the king's aid, but it was too late. The king had died. The Queen decided to send her daughter back to her castle and leave her there. For the next seven years, the Queen ruled the duel monarchy by herself. However, that's when a man's plan was in action.
