It's been twenty days since I joined my new college, everything is going smoothly.

Lily is no longer taking the risk to trouble me but whenever we both come face to face I can clearly point out the hatred in her eyes for myself, the way she glare, scared me to my deepest core. So, I tried to avoid any sort of encounter with her as much as possible.

Tomorrow is the Freshers party. All my batch mates are excited for this party specially for the title called 'Mr Fresher & Miss Fresher'.

I am not at all interested in gaining such title. Same goes with Pihu also, She don't want to gain unwanted attention of boys by winning such title.

But Sonia, her perspective is totally different from us, she anyhow wants to win the title of Miss Fresher. According to Sonia she was the crowned Miss Fresher of her previous college and she don't want to loose that crown and the title of her's.

Both Pihu and Sonia are staying at girls hostel of the college but for the preparation of Freshers party they both came to my place and are staying with me.

We all together went for shopping and bought some accessories and a dress for tomorrow's party.

I bought an elegant ankle length black gown it has a triangle cut just above my belly area through which a little bit of my skin will be visible. I am not sure about that dress because I have never worn such type of dress before but Sonia and Pihu convinced me actually both of them literally forced me to purchase that dress. The best thing is that the dress have a grey shrug over it which will help me to cover my visible skin.

Pihu choose a simple but elegant yellow colour floor length gown for herself. According to me the colour of Pihu's dress is going to reflect her bubbly nature and true personality.

Sonia choose a White colour crop top and black colour long skirt. Her attire sounds simple but it's not they are awesome, her crop top consist of some embroidery work which enhance it's beauty and the upper layer of her long skirt is made up of net material which makes her look like a real princess.

After shopping Sonia dragged us to the salon for grooming herself, as I already said she is very much serious about winning the title of Miss Fresher.

The salon attendant was extra sweet and talkative. She suggested me to have facial which will make my skin glow and because of her sweetness I got trapped and let her do it, then she describe me the benefit of hair spa how it will make my hair soft and silky and once again I got trapped and agreed for that also.

Since I got adopted by Mom and Dad money is no more an issue for me but still I am very much restricted when it comes to spending money maybe because it has became my habit.

After spending two long hours at salon finally we came back home. Pihu and Sonia are staying on my old room. Tomorrow all three of us will be going together.

I showed my dress to Mom and she praised it alot. After having dinner I came back to my room, changed into something comfortable and then slept. Shopping tires me a lot.

Right now I am getting tortured by Roshini, Yes Roshini, Mom had called her to help me to get ready for today's party. First she did my eye makeup then she applied something over my entire face and then with the help of some brush she adjusted everything and finally after entire thirty minutes of painting my face she said no she ordered me,

"Adhya Di change your dress after that I will do your hair."

I listened to her like an obedient child and changed my dress into the one which I specifically bought for today's event.

Once again Roshini made me sit on the same chair and started gently pulling my hairs. By using the hair curler she curled my hair slightly then tied half of my hair using some hair pins which means no hairs are going to fall on my face and block my vision, Thank God it's a big relief because I hate whenever loose strands of hair falls over my face.

After more thirty minutes she was satisfied with my hair and finally announced,

"Now you are good to go."

I sighed in relief finally the torture is over. Yeah! I mentally danced.

But I guess I was wrong because what happened next is going to be a torture for me for the entire day, oh shit! heels. No... 😭.

Roshini opened a box of brand new high heels. I don't know what its exact length but I am sure my legs are going to cry at the end of the day.

With heavy heart I wore those heels and gave myself a final look on the full length mirror.

A decent smile appeared on my face after watching my own reflection. Will Akash also smile like this after watching me? I blushed slightly on my own thought.

I came out of my room while Roshini stayed there to wrap up all the makeup mess she has created. I went towards Pihu and Sonia's room, I knocked once and waited for them to open the door. After few seconds Pihu opened the door and observed me from head to toe.

"Oh God Adhya! You are looking sexy.", she commented and I blushed.

I also repeated her action and observed her.

"And you are looking like a cheerful sunshine.", I complimented her.

"Thank you Maam!", she replied and bowed slightly while I giggled.

Pihu opened the gate ajar and went inside, I too followed her and came inside, I noticed Sonia is struggling with her hair and groaning irritatedly.

"What happened?", I enquired.

"My hairs, I am confused how should I style them?", She replied sadly.

I observed her and my instinct said that if she will keep them loose instead of tying then she will look more gorgeous.

"Let them stay loose.", I suggested what I felt.

"Exactly I also told her the same thing.", Said Pihu.

"Are you sure Twinny?", Sonia enquired.

"Yeah", I ensured her.

"Okay", she said.

She combed her hairs neatly and then left then as it is.

We all came downstairs, Dad have arranged a car with driver for us.

"Wow Adhya Di you are looking absolutely stunning, I bet you are going to win the title of Miss Fresher.", said Kush while looking at Sonia.

Sonia must be in cloud nine after hearing his compliment.

"Really? Thank you so much Kush for boosting up my morale and for your kind information I am Sonia your Adhya Di's twin sister.", she replied cheerfully.

"Oh! then you are looking okay.", Said Kush with casual expression.

"My Adhya Di is best and I know she will be Miss Fresher.", Kush tried to irked Sonia and I must say he succeeded because Sonia is burning in anger.

Kush very well knows about my dress because when I went to show my dress to Mom he was also present there. He is just playing with Sonia because he knows how desperately she wants to win.

"I will kill you Kush ke bachhe agar heels na pehna hota na to aaj teri ek na ek haddi toh pakka tod hi deti mein"

"I will kill you Kush if I would have not worn heels today then for sure I would have broken some of your bones.", Shouted Sonia while Kush ran away for the sake of his life.

Me, Pihu, Roshini and Mom burst out laughing hard while watching Kush retreating figure.

After our little enjoyment we finally left for the party.

The driver stopped the car Infront of college and said,

"Maam we reached."

All three of us came out of the car and went inside the college campus. The entire college is looking like a new bride and decorated with lost of colourful ribbons, balloons, banners, flags, etc.

A higher platform like stage has been build at the centre of the campus, two rectangular tables are placed on each side of the stage. Music and sound group setup is organised just beside the stage, they were playing some songs to keep the environment alive.

I noticed not many students have still arrived, seniors are running here and there and finishing the pending work.

"I guess we are early.", I said.

"No we are punctual and that is one of the quality which should be there in Miss Fresher.", Said Sonia while flaunting her hairs.

Me and Pihu looked at her weirdly with our mouth slightly opened while she shrugged her shoulder as if she is innocent.

I shook my head on her craziness and desperation to be Miss Fresher. Oh God please don't break her heart I silently prayed.

I swing my head in search of particular someone but my bad luck he is nowhere to be seen. I guess he has still not arrived but he is our senior plus head boy of the college he should be here.

"Hello gorgeous!", I heard someone's voice.

I turn my head and found Satvik standing Infront of Sonia. What is he doing here?

Sonia blushed on his compliment and said,

"Thank you"

Then he turned towards Pihu and said,

"Hello sunshine!"

"Thank you Satvik.", Pihu replied.

Satvik focused his attention on me and winked. Wait! Did he just winked at me? How dare he? I glared at him angrily, but inspite of being scared he started laughing, I looked at him confusedly, I think he has gone mad.

"It's confirmed you are angry Sandhya and you my sweetheart Sonia.", Satvik said deepening the colour of Sonia's cheeks and my ears.

"What are you doing here in our college?", I enquired irritatedly.

"It's my college too.", he replied.

"How?", I asked.

"What how? I am also your batch mate, because of some business related issues I was unable to attend the classes but how can I miss Freshers party it's incomplete without Mr Fresher." Satvik said proudly.

I tapped my forehead with my palm and shook my head disappointedly 🤦. Oh God! Why? First Lily now this Satvik, I simply wanted to do my MBA peacefully but I think you have some different plans for me God.

"Hey don't be sad the title of Mr Fresher is only for boys, for girls there is a separate title called Miss Fresher you still have the chances to win.", Said Satvik.

I raised my eyebrows and looked at him weirdly while gritting my teeth angrily.

"Okay sorry don't give me that look it scares me.", He said.

Pihu and Sonia started giggling and I glared at them angrily both of them instantly controlled their laughter.

"See they are also scared of you.", Said Satvik.

Arrrr! I feel like pulling his hair but I controlled myself, I stomped my feet angrily and went away if I stayed with him one more minute then definitely I will do something which I am going to regret later.

I started reading the contents of the banners tied on the walls.

"Hey did you saw Akash sir? He is looking so handsome.", I heard a girl's voice and my hearing senses heightened.

"No, where is he?", Some other girl enquired.

"Near the stage.", Answered the same girl.

Without wasting any second my legs automatically dragged me towards the stage. I moved my head in search of him and there he is sitting on one of the chair beside the stage like an eye candy for all the girls.

He is looking so hot, my blood rushed over my cheeks and I started blushing. Oh God! If I am behaving like this just by looking at him from far, I don't know how I will react when we both will come face to face.

He is wearing navy blue colour formal pant paired it with white shirt inside and grey checkered blazer outside. He has kept open the upper three buttons of his shirt which is making my situation worse.

I noticed that the eyes of all the girls present there were on him. All the girls are drooling over him shamelessly. I made fist with each of my hands to control my anger. I so much wanted to break the nose of all these girls who is staring at him shamelessly, I want to scream 'He is mine' 'Stay away from him'.

I gain all my courage and began walking towards him. He smiled brightly the moment he saw me coming and stood up from the chair but I maintained my serious expression.

"Hi! Ummm....Y..You are looking gorgeous.", He complimented me hesitatingly.

I smiled slightly on his compliment but my eyes landed on a girl behind him, she is also looking at him dreamily. I will have to do something to divert the attention of all these girls. Think Adhya think.

Slowly, I began walking closer to Akash while he looked at me questioningly, I came extremely closer to him and did something which I have never thought will ever do. I closed all the opened buttons of Akash's shirt with my bare hands.

The moment I button up his last button I started going away to protect myself from his interrogation but before I can go out of his reach he grabbed my hand and pulled me towards him. I landed over him and grabbed his shoulders tightly as if my life depends on them.

"What was that?", He wishpered coming dangerously closer to my ear.

A sudden wave of electricity rushed all over my body and the baby hair of those area where his warm breathe made contact with my skin stood up in respect.

I removed my hands from his shoulders and tried to move away but I guess he is in no mood to let me go without getting answers because he grabbed my waist and again pulled me towards him.

"You can't escape without giving answer.", He said huskily making my knees weak.

I tightened my grip on him to make sure that I won't fall. I started running the horse of my brain to find out a proper reason behind my action.

"You forgot to close the upper three buttons of your shirt. So, I just helped you while closing them.", I wishpered while trying hard not to stammer in between.

"Oh really?", Once again he wishpered on my ear and tightens his hold around my waist.

I gasped on his action, I felt my heart stopped beating but the continuous movement of my chest is expressing a different story.

I have to get out of his hold before I lost the control over my emotions and do something stupid.

"Principal sir", I blurted out and my plan worked.

The moment Akash heard me he loosened his grip, I took the advantage of the moment and ran away from him.

"Sandhya", I heard him calling my name but I didn't stop and walked away from him.

I was so busy in walking that I didn't noticed Lily coming from the opposite direction and I collided with her.

"Watch out you blind b...h.", She abused me.

"Mind your language.", I warned her.

"First you stop whoring around you slut.", She once again used abusive words for me.

"Lily.", I shouted.

"Don't take my name from your dirty mouth. I am warning you sandy, stay away from Akash he is mine. Soon I will reveal your true identity Infront of him and then he will only be mine.", She tried to threaten me.

The moment she said 'Akash is mine' my blood boiled in anger, I made fist with my each hands to control my anger.

"Wake up from your dream world because nothing like that is ever going to happen.", I said while gritting my teeth angrily.

"Look at yourself, what did you do Haan? Suddenly an orphan girl like you.", She said the word 'you' disgustingly as if she is talking about a piece of dirt.

"Turned out to be the daughter of one of the top businessman. So, this is how Rahul Mittal is paying for letting him f**k you by..",

Before she can complete her sentence I slapped her hard, I can listen anything about myself but I won't tolerate any filthy words for my parents. Today she crossed all her limits.

"How dare you?", She said and raised her hand to hit me back but Satvik came in between and stopped her hand midway.

"Satvik What a pleasant surprise! Thank God you came now help me to show this b***h her real place.", Lily said to him.

"Enough Lily.", Satvik warned her calmly.

"No baby you are not understanding, she just hit me, I have to show her real place.", Lily said like a maniac.

"I said enough Lily.", Satvik shouted and pushed her away leaving her hand jerkily.

"This time I won't let you bully her.", He said.

I looked at him confusedly. Is he the same Satvik Mehta who use to support her in school? When he said that now he is a changed man I thought he is lying, Did he really meant that? Is he really a changed man now?

I didn't wait to listen their talks and went away. My head feels like it will burst any moment. I came to the secluded area and sat down on one of the empty bench.

I repeated lily's accusing words again and again and tears started rolling down my cheeks.

"So you are here, I have been searching you everywhere around the campus.", I heard Satvik's voice.

I ignored his presence and continued to weep.

"Hey please don't cry Sandhya. You know how Lily is. Don't ruin your makeup for such creatures. My poor buddy Akash he won't appreciate if he will see you crying like this.", He said.

I turn my head and looked at him confusedly, why did he bring Akash in our conversation?

"Yes, I knew it will work. So, you like him?", He enquired amusedly.

I blushed slightly but shook my head in denial.

"Don't lie Sandhya, your facial expressions are revealing different story, it's clearly written on your face that you do.", Said Satvik.

"Thank you Satvik for taking my stand.", I said while trying divert the topic.

"When I said that I am a changed man I really meant that I was not joking.", He said while I nodded my head understandingly.

"You know what Sandhya when we were in school I genuinely use to adore you. I only supported Lily because I wanted she some reaction from you but you always remain calm.", said Satvik.

I looked at him with blank expression I don't know how to react on his revelation so I stayed quite.

"Let's go before your twin sister and best friend began their search operation for you.", Said Satvik and I chuckled.

"You go join them, I need to use the washroom, if they will see me like this then for sure they will doubt that something has happened and Satvik please don't say anything to both of them not even to Akash.", I requested.

"Okay, your wish my command.", Said Satvik and moved his hand from one corner of his lips to the other as if he is sealing his lips in between his thumb and forefinger.
