I saw an empty corridor. It seems familiar. Yes it's my school's corridor but what am I doing here? And why it's empty?

I have never seen this corridor empty ever in my entire school life. I shrugged my shoulders in confusion and kept on walking forward.

"Hello! Is there anyone?", I shouted expecting a reply in return.

I heard some faded noise coming out of a classroom as if someone is murmuring.

I move closer to that room and noticed that the gate is locked.

I knocked twice and the door opened ajar revealing Riddhi and Lily standing infront of me.

Both of them are holding guns in their hands and pointed it on me.

I gulped being scared and stumbled backward in nervousness.

'Please don't kill me.', I begged.

'Ha..ha..ha..ha..ha..ha..'

Both of them laughed dangerously like a psychotic person.

'Ha..ha..ha..ha..ha..ha..'

The voices of their laughter pierced through by eardrums making my head throbbed in pain.

'Ha..ha..ha..ha..ha..ha..'

I blocked my ears using my palms and shook my head in denial.

'Nooooooo! Please. Don't. Kill. Me.', I screamed my lungs out.

'Please don't kill me.', I cried.

"Twinny."

"Please don't kill me."

"Twinny wake up."

"Don't kill me."

"No one will kill you. You are safe. It's just a bad dream Twinny. Wake up."

I felt a harsh jerk on my body and opened my eyes abruptly.

"I don't want to die.", I said absent mindedly.

Sonia engulfed me in her tight embrace and rubbed my back up and down using her palm.

"Everything is fine. You are okay.", She said softly in order to calm me down.

I looked around and realised that I was dreaming. It's was just a bad dream. I closed my eyes and hugged her back.

Yesterday's incident has somehow traumatised my mind and this horrible dream is the impact of that trauma.

I don't know how long that incident will haunt my dream. I am glad that today Sonia is here with me to console my disturbed mind or else I would have end up crying miserable in tears.

"Are you fine?", She enquired.

I nodded my head in approval and broke our hug.

"Thank you Sonia.", I said.

"I think you want a punch from me. Right?", She said.

"Huh?", I reacted bewilderedly.

"Yesterday also you apologized for something which you had not done and now also you are saying thank you. Thank you for what? For consoling my own sister. Seriously Twinny?", She said dejectedly.

I hold my ears and looked at her pleadingly. 'Sorry' I mouthed instead of saying it loud because I don't want to hurt her anymore.

Sonia's eyes welled with tears and she immediately hugged me.

"I love you Twinny. I don't know what I would've done If something would've happened to you yesterday?", She said while sobbing.

"I am fine Sonia.", I assured her.

I broke our hug and wiped out her tears.

"Save some tears for later. If you will empty your tear tank right now then what will you shed at the time of bidaai?", I enquired her teasingly.

We both chuckled together while someone banged on the door.

I stood up and went to open the gate.

Mrs. Singh (Sonia's legal mother.) rushed inside our room and went towards Sonia.

"Sonu! You are still on the bed. Oh God! Freshen up soon beta. There are lots of rituals which has to be done today.", Aunty said worriedly.

"Don't worry Aunty. I will help her in getting ready and will present her infront of you within twenty minutes.", I said.

"What? Twenty minutes! No no no. We don't have that much time.", She said horribly.

Sonia grabbed her wrist and made her sit on the edge of the bed.

"Mummy Twinny is right. Don't take to much stress. Everything will be fine. Okay?", She said to her mother.

Until Sonia is trying to relax her mother's unstable mood. I move towards the closet, took out her dress which she is going to wear now along with a towel and went towards the washroom.

I hanged her dress on the hanger and switched on the geyser.

I came out of the washroom to inform Sonia that she can have bath but ends up adoring the mother daughter duo.

Both of them are hugging each other and crying.

I believe daughter's marriage is very tough phase for any parents in this entire world. It's not an easy task to give away the girl whom they always treated as their princess to someone else.

"Sonia.", I called softly.

I didn't want to interrupt their moment but it's getting late. I don't want Aunty to panic even more.

They broke their hug. Aunty wiped her tears and said while trying to sound strict,

"Get ready and come soon. Everyone is waiting for you."

After all the pre wedding rituals it's time for Sonia to get ready for her wedding.

Two beauticians were appointed today for the bride. Both of them showed their talents and painted Sonia's face with various makeup products which is mandatory for bridal makeup.

I also applied a bit of makeup today like foundation, compact, blush, bronzer, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, etc.

Me and Sonia got ready and are extremely excited to see Satvik and Akash.

Because of various rituals we didn't get the time to even call them the entire day neither they tried to call us. I guess they were also busy similarly like we were.

"How am I looking Twinny?", Sonia enquired.

"Like a bride.", I said sarcastically and giggled.

"Please say na. How am I looking?", She pleaded.

I observed her dramatically with an unimpressed expression. She pouted sadly and made a face like she is going to cry any moment.

I smiled brightly and gave her a flying kiss.

"You are looking...", I sealed my mouth using my forefinger & thumb and made beautiful sign with both my hands.👌

"No words has been discovered till now to describe your beauty.", I said.

She turned red and lowered her head shyly.

I heard the loud noise of band which means the groom has finally arrived. Me and Sonia share an understanding glare.

I excitedly went towards the balcony and saw a group of people dancing in joy.

My eyes roamed around in search of a particular face and there he is, dancing with Satvik like there is no tomorrow. My lips curled up in a wide U.

Akash is wearing ethnic clothes and looking absolutely dashing. Satvik is also spreading his charm in his groom's attire.

My cellphone ranged. I checked the caller ID, it's Mom calling.

"Yes Mom?", I enquired.

"Beta come down with Sonia.", She said and hung up the call.

After dancing like for eternity finally the groom's family decided to proceed further.

Sonia's parents welcomed Satvik and his family while all the time I stood beside my twin sister.

Akash keeps on stealing glances at me while I kept on blushing whenever we have an eye contact.

The bride and groom went on the stage to exchange the garlands. Akash got the opportunity and came closer to me.

He entangled his fingers with mine and looked at me with a descent smile on his lips. I raised my eyebrows questioningly. He shook his head and looked forward.

I noticed a hint of mischievousness into his eyes as if he is trying to hide something from me but what is it?

I observed him suspiciously. He faced me and gestured forward to look at the stage. I obeyed him.

Sonia and Satvik exchanged garlands then settled down on the stage for photo session.

After the longer photo session. We all went to have dinner and after dinner the groom and bride were summoned at mandap to perform the final rituals of wedding.

The priest enchanted various shlokas and mantras and performed various activities which leads Satvik and Sonia to be a married couple and binds them together for the rest of their life.

They stood up to take the seven rounds around the sacred fire and took seven vows to be with each other in all their highs & lows of their life.

Satvik filled Sonia's hair partition with vermilion and after some more such formalities the priest declared them husband and wife.

Similar like my wedding there is some time left for the bidaai. So, Mom asked me to take Sonia to her room and let her some rest.

Me and Sonia entered inside the room which I have expected to be empty but I found the two beauticians who helped Sonia to get ready as bride are sitting on the edge of the bed.

They smiled brightly looking at us while I stared at them confusedly.

"Didi (Sister) we don't have much time. Please get her ready as soon as possible.", Sonia said and pushed me a bit forward.

Ready! Me? Why?

I gave Sonia a confusing look. She smiled and said,

"Your groom is also waiting for his bride since last three years."

My lips curled up while my eyes filled with happy tears.

"Please no tears Twinny we don't have much time to redo your eye makeup.", She said scaredly.

I laughed and wiped my tears before they rolled out of my eyes.

I am surprised because these beauticians also have a wedding attire with them. I noticed that it's the same dress which I had wear on my wedding three years ago.

I touched it's fabric and roamed my hands around it. This dress carries many bitter and many sweet memories along with it.

Now it's time to erase all those bitter memories and replaced them with the sweet one.

I changed my dress. The beauticians restyled my hair and did a bit of touch-up to re-enhance my make up.

Someone knocked on the door. Sonia went to open the gate while I focused my attention on the gate through the mirror.

Mom & Mami came inside the room and smiled while looking at me. I stood up from my chair and turn around towards them.

Mom kissed me on my forehead. Mami took out some Kohl from her eyes and applied a dot behind my ear. She caressed my cheeks and kissed her fingers adoringly.

Mom went towards Sonia and kissed on her forehead as well.

"Riya I am very happy today my babies are going to stepped into their married life.", Mom said being quite emotional.

Me and Sonia also became emotional and hugged her together but before we breakdown and become a crying mess Mom broke our hug and said,

"Let's go. Both the grooms are waiting for your arrival impatiently."

Me and Sonia blushed shyly and nodded our heads in approval.

We came out and my eyes landed on Akash. He is also wearing his wedding dress.

Did he already knew about all this before? I guess yes! That's why he was looking at me mischievously.

Me and Sonia move forward with Akash and Satvik beside us while our family members followed us from behind.

We reached the exit of the venue. I saw two beautifully decorated cars parked on the main gate and realised that the time has finally arrived when I will have to leave my old life & relations behind and stepped my foot into a new phase of my life where I will be someone's wife and daughter in law.

My heart beat increased by that thought. I became nervous. My eyes filled up with tears. Realisation hits me hard, I am going away from my parents from my family. I know Dad will always be there for me as my back support but still I feel like from today everything is going to change. Nothing will remain the same even if it seems so.

I turn around and hugged Dad tightly while crying miserably. One side there is a happiness to be with Akash and the other side there is a nervousness of going away from my family.

"I will miss you Dad.", I said hoarsely.

"I am only a phone call away beta. If ever Akash tries to trouble you in future? Just give me a call. I will take his class. Okay?", Dad said to cheer up my mood.

I nodded my head in approval and smiled sadly. Dad kissed on my forehead and said,

"I will miss you too Adhya."

I cried more while hugging Mom, Luv, Kush, Mami and my other family members. Sonia also turned into a crying mess.

Akash opened the gate of one car as a cue for me to get inside. With heavy heart I settled down on the back seat.

Akash side hugged Dad and gave him an assuring nod as if he is saying that from now on I will take care of her. Dad too nodded his head and patted on his shoulder as if he gave him his permission.

Akash sat down beside me on the back seat and gestured the driver to move forward.

The car slowly move forward while I looked at my family. They all waved their palms and gave me their final farewell. I too waved my palm and tried to smile a bit.

Akash kept his hand on my shoulder and rubbed there soothingly.

"Don't cry Tittly. You can meet them whenever you want to. I will never stop you.", He said.

"I know that Akash but still I don't know why I can't control my tears. It's a feeling which says that no matter how hard I try to believe I know that nothing will remain the same.", I voiced my anxiety.

He pulled me closer. I rested my head on the crook of his neck.

"I don't know what to say! But yeah I can assure you I will always be there with you in every steps of your life. We are now together."

I closed my eyes and enjoyed his presence. I felt a sense of relief. It's one of the best feeling to be in the warmth of your life partner. It seems like all my troubles & negative thoughts are fading away and a wave of positivity is engulfing into my heart. If Akash is with me then I can cross all the difficulties of my life very easily with a smile on my face.

"We reached Tittly.", Akash wishpered on my ear.

I opened my eyes and a yawn escaped from my mouth.

"Hmm! I see someone is feeling sleepy.", He said thoughtfully.

I nodded my head in approval and tried to sit straight, note my word 'I tried' because Akash pulled me back and wishpered sensually,

"But I won't let you sleep tonight."

A shiver ran down my spine after hearing his words. I bite my lower lip in order to control myself from blushing.

"Don't do that wifey. You are turning me on even more. We still have some rituals to finish.", He said and released my lip using his thumb.

I hide my face in between his chest and smiled shyly while he chuckled on my shyness.

I hit him on his shoulder.

"What?", He enquired as if nothing happened.

"Let's go before Mom and Dad started thinking something naughty about us like why are we taking so much time to come out of this car? They might think that we both are..", I didn't let him finish and blocked his mouth using my palm.

"You are very naughty.", I said.

"Only for you sweetheart.", He replied and I glared at him playfully.
