I saw Mayank coming along with my classmates. They are ten in total but the presence of only two persons are affecting me the most instead of the other eight.

Don't they have any shame? How can they even think of coming here and showing their nasty faces?

I glared at those two girls and fisted each of my palms angrily. They are the reason behind my sufferings of these past three years.

I will kill Mayank Sharma for inviting Riddhi and Lily here without even consulting anyone and referring them as surprise.

Surprise my foot these two girls has the tendency to ruin this function and I genuinely don't want them to do that.

Riddhi's eyes became wide the moment she saw me standing beside Satvik. She halted in her place and kept on looking at me shockingly as if she has not expected me to be present here.

Obviously! She must have done some research before coming here and might have come to know about my absence since last three years.

Lily realised that Riddhi is not beside her. So, she turn around and saw Riddhi's shocking expression.

She followed Riddhi's line of vision and her eyes also landed on me. She too became shocked but then her lips curled up and formed an evil smirk.

I tightened my fists to control my anger. I feel like cussing them and scream abusive words but I won't step so low and degrade my ethics & values for such intolerable creatures.

Lily went to Riddhi and muttered something on her ear.

I can't hear whatever she said but it seems like it's something related to me because Riddhi nodded her head in approval and looked at me with pure hatred.

Girl! the feeling is mutual. I also looked at her challengingly.

Someone please throw them out or else I will do it by myself with my bare hands and believe me my hands are already itching to do that.

Meanwhile in between our glaring sessions the other classmates reached towards us and started showing their reactions about Satvik's marriage.

"Wow! The most eligible bachelor of our batch is finally getting married.", Mehak said enthusiastically.

"And that too with 'Charity Case'. When did this happen?", Tanmay asked half surprised and half shocked.

I cringed after hearing that name. I knew it they are going to call me using that name.

I was going to voiced my thoughts and tell everyone not to call me with that name but Sonia beats me and enquired confusedly,

"Huh! Who Charity Case?"

They all gave her weird expressions. I think these guys don't know about me and Sonia being twins. I came a bit forward to explain them but this time Mohan beats me,

"Oh God! Double role. Guys! Two two charity cases.", Mohan reacted shockingly after looking at me then at Sonia.

"Wait! Let me clear everything. This girl..", Mayank said excitedly while pointing his finger at me.

"She is our Charity Case."

I glared at him while my nose puffed a bit in anger. How dare he introduce me as charity case?

He raised his hands in surrender and said,

"Oops! Sorry! I forgot.

Guys! She is no more a charity case. Now she is 'Miss Sandhya Mittal' daughter of 'The Rahul Mittal' so, no one will address her as Charity case. Okay?", He said the last line strictly to everyone and then looked at me questioningly.

I smiled a bit on his silliness but he winked at me and I ended up glaring at him warningly. He smiled and focused his attention towards Sonia.

"And this pretty girl who is going to be our Bhabhi is actually Sonia, Sandhya's twin sister.", He introduced Sonia and she blushed shyly.

"Ooo............", They all said in unison and nodded their heads understandingly.

Riddhi and Lily also reached having fake smile plastered on their faces.

"Hey Satvik! How are you baby?", Lily enquired.

Satvik pressed his lips in a thin line being irritated and gave her a warning glare.

"Baby? He is not your baby anymore Lily but if you want I can be your baby.", Mayank teased her and everyone giggled.

But Lily being the same old b*t*h ignored Mayank's offer and went closer to Satvik. She kept her palm on his cheeks and said,

"I missed you a lot baby."

Wrong move Lily. She shouldn't have touched Satvik who is now 'Sonia's fiance'.

I laughed mentally because this time Lily will have to face my sister's wrath not mine and angry Sonia is dangerous. I can already see her face turning red in anger.

Sonia instantly stood up from her seat, grabbed Lily's elbow and pushed her away from Satvik.

"Stay away from him.", Sonia shouted angrily.

"You scoundrel. How dare you touch me?", Lily shouted in rage.

"Lily, mind your tongue.", I warned her and stood beside Sonia.

"Ooh! Look who is talking. Bloody lover snatcher.", Riddhi mocked at me and stood beside Lily.

I glared at both the girls and gritted my teeth angrily.

"Leave it Riddhi. The character of both the sisters are same. One snatched your love from you and the other one is snatching my Satvik from me.", Lily said while giving me and Sonia an unpleasant look.

"Your Satvik! Since when I became yours?

First of all, Why did you both came here? To create all these drama!! If Yes! Then get out of here because I won't tolerate any of your cheap act and let you to spoil my function.", Satvik said threateningly.

"SECURITY", Satvik shouted in anger.

"Cool down Satvik. Lily was just trying to tease you and your fiance. You know her ways. Right? Don't get too hyper Bro.", Mayank said and kept his palm on Satvik's shoulder.

"We are not teasing anyone. Whatever we said is absolutely true. Because of her I suffered for three years and spent behind bars. I won't leave her.", Riddhi said.

She took out a revolver from the under pocket of her Jacket and pointed it at me.

My eyes became wide in shock after watching that gun in her hand. I noticed that everyone's reaction is same as mine and everyone is looking at her scaredly.

"Riddhi what are you doing?", Mayank asked and started walking towards her.

"Stay out of it Mayank or else I will also shoot you along with her.", She threatened and pointed the gun at him.

He gulped scaredly and took two steps backward.

She again moves the gunpoint towards my direction. Mayank got the chance to escape and ran away as fast as he could.

After Mayank others also rushed away to save their respective lives. Satvik too stood up infront of Sonia protectively.

I looked at the retreating figure of all my scared classmates.

Am I going to die? My life is really going to end today? This is what my fate has decided for me? All such negative thoughts started evolving on my mind. My eyes welled up with tears.

Please don't do this to me God. I really want to live and enjoy my life with Akash. Please help me God. Please do something. Please.

A lone tear escaped from my eyes. I feel like my fate is taking his revenge and mocking at me because when he gave me a chance to stay with Akash, I myself dodged that chance away in rage and now when I genuinely wants to stay with Akash my fate stood up to slap me hard on my face and to teach me a lesson. A lesson to never outsmart him ever again because he is the one who rules my life and can ruin it in a snap of his fingers.

Riddhi laughed evily. I startled scaredly after hearing her deadly laughter and came out of my trance.

"Please don't do this Riddhi?", I requested hoarsely and joined my palms infront of her.

"Three years ago I made a master plan to throw you out of my Akash's life with Lily's help and...and... I almost succeeded in executing my plan but your...your father ruined it all.

He ruined my plan by bringing that man who helped me in your kidnapping and proved your innocence Infront of all.

As a result I got punished by the law. I loose my Akash. I ended up behind the bars for three years but...

But still I was living at peace.

You wanna know why?", She said.

I stayed glued to my place and kept on listening everything whatever she is saying. I looked at her with my blurred vision. It seems like all my senses got blocked. Only one thing is running in my mind that I don't want to die today.

"I was living at peace inspite of being inside the jail because you...you also eloped from Akash's life. I knew that my Akash is still safe and mine out here. You are nowhere around him.

Now after three long years when I am free, ready to claim my love and make him mine.

You decided to return back. Wow! Wow! What a timing.", She shouted and started clapping like a maniac.

I shivered encountering her lunatic behaviour. Tears kept on rolling down my cheeks in fear to loose my life and to loose my everything. It's been only a day when I found my life moving forward towards my happiness but once again it got stuck.

No, I won't give up so easily. I will fight and try till I take my last breath.

"Riddhi please don't do all this. You won't get anything out of it. Even if you end my life by killing me? You will never get Akash's love because he loves me not you.", I tried to feed some sense into her mind.

"It's all my fault. I thought you as a weak and lonely girl but you... you snatched my love from me. Now I will snatch your life from you. If I can't be with Akash I won't let you also to be with him.", She said.

She focused the gunpoint infront of my forehead being determined.

"Please don't do this Riddhi.", I begged scaredly.

She pressed the hammer of the gun and I squeezed my eyes shut.

My entire life flashed infront of my eyes, my childhood days at Hope orphanage, my school life at Denobli High, my first job as receptionist, my first meeting with Akash, my college life, my second job as cashier, my MBA journey, my wedding, Akash's lack of trust. Each and every moments flashed like a movie. All my ups and downs all my highs and lows.

"Riddhi if anything happens to Sandhya you will again ends up getting punished by law and this time with murder charges. Your entire life will be ruined. Please try to think wisely.", Satvik tried to explain her.

"Riddhi please leave my sister.", Sonia begged.

I opened my eyes and looked at Sonia. She is crying miserably. I shook my head gesturing her not to cry and tried to smile sadly.

"Don't listen to them Riddhi just Shoot her.", Lily said urgently.

"Do you have any last wish?", Riddhi enquired me.

I observed her keenly. How did I let this poison be a part of my life? Why I did friendship with her? If I had any idea that she is going to be the destroyer of my life I would have never let her come close to me.

Suddenly my eyes landed on a pillar behind Riddhi. I saw Dad hiding behind it. What is he doing behind that pillar? Why he is not helping me?

He noticed that I am looking at him. He kept his finger on his lips and gestured me not to react.

I tried hard to maintain a poker face Infront of Riddhi and peeked at him occasionally without getting caught by Riddhi or Lily.

Dad pointed his finger towards another pillar. I confusedly looked at that pillar and saw Akash hiding behind it.

My eyes welled up even more after looking at him. A ray of hope build inside me and I prayed with all my heart to God. Please save me today God, please, I don't want to die.

Dad and Akash gestured thumbs up sign to each other and started coming slowly towards us without making any noise.

With their each step my heart beat accelerated. I observe them while keeping in mind not to give any hint to Riddhi and Lily. I crossed my fingers and silently prayed for their success on whatever both of them are trying to do.

Dad grabbed Lily from behind and blocked her mouth so that she can't scream while Akash grabbed Riddhi's hand which has revolver and encircled his other hand around her neck. Satvik quickly rushed and snatched the gun from her hand.

I sighed in relief after watching Riddhi standing Infront of me unarmed.

"Leave me. I will kill all of you.", Riddhi shouted and struggled to get out of Akash's grip.

"Leave me Mr Mittal. You are molesting me. I will file a complaint against you.", Lily said.

I move forward and plastered a tight slap on Riddhi's cheek.

"You b*t*h.", She shouted.

Once again I slapped her hard and shouted angrily while placing my forefinger on my lips,

"Shut up. Now I will speak and you will listen to me.

Why Riddhi? Why? I always treated you as a true friend and what you did to me?", I asked.

"True friend my foot. You snatched my Akash from me.", She said venomously and struggled to get out of Akash's grip.

I fisted my palms angrily and took a deep breath to control my anger.

"You claims to love Akash. Right?", I asked.

"Yes and you ruined it all by coming between us.", She accused me.

"You are wrong. You don't love him Riddhi. You are just obsessed with him.

Do you even know what love is?

Love is 'a beautiful feeling' which parents feel for their kids.

Love is 'an emotion' which couples expressed to each other.

Love is 'an empathy' to live and to die for someone else's happiness.

Love is 'an affection' to shower on the person whom you claims to love.

Love teaches us 'to care'.

Love teaches us 'to value the emotions' of the person we love.

Love teaches us the meaning of 'sacrifice' and shows how someone else's happiness means a lot to us rather than our own happiness.

Loving someone means to give that person mental peace and your warmth.

Love doesn't means to force anyone to love you back.

Me & Akash love each other since the day we didn't even know what love is?

It's not me who came in between you and your obsession it's you who is coming between our love.", I explained her and tried to ends up her obsession.

"Noooo. I love Akash. I will kill you and then he will also start loving me. I will teach him.", She said.

"I don't love you Riddhi. I never will.", Akash said.

"Give me a chance Akash. I will make you forget the existence of this girl.", Riddhi said while glaring at me dangerously like a wild animal.

This girl is mentally sick and truly obsessed with Akash. I wish I had any idea about her obsession before I would have tried to protect her but now the situation is not in my hands. Her obsession has started ruling her brain and has blocked her senses to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong.

I saw police officers entering inside the venue. One officer went towards Satvik and collected the gun from him. Two officers each grabbed Riddhi and Lily and dragged them out. Dad, Satvik and Akash went towards head inspector and explained him the entire scenario.

Mom and Mami came to me and hugged me tightly while crying miserably.

Sonia's parents also took her into their embrace.

Saurya Bhaiya is trying to console his pregnant wife Pihu who is shivering scaredly.

Each & everyone's eyes consist moisture. I am the reason behind their tears. If I had not decided to come here and attend this wedding then all this would have not been happened.

Sonia was so happy and excited about today's function and my presence ruined it all.

I feel like I am a bad omen. I am a curse in their life. I deserve to be an orphan. Good memories are not meant for me. I can only give bad memories to my loved ones. Wherever I go, Wherever I stay, My presence will only bring destruction in everyone's life.

"I should have died today.", I wishpered.

"What did you say?", Akash enquired.

I lowered down my head and shook my head in denial. My lips are trembling because of my silent cry.

Akash came closer and engulfed me into his tight embrace. I sobbed like a baby and hold him tightly.

"Never ever say or even think about that Tittly. I will also die without you.", He cried.

"You have no idea how scared I felt when I saw you at the gunpoint. The land swept away below my feet.", He said while squeezing me in between his arms.

I closed my eyes and drowned my face in between his chest and rested my forehead over his beating heart. I can feel it's uneven speed.

I realised my mistake which I was repeating absent mindly. Once again I only thought about me and the pain I give to others by my presence. I missed the point that how my absence will affect to those who loves me a lot.

I broke our hug and looked into Akash's eyes which are red and filled with tears. I wiped out his tears and pulled his head down so that my forehead touches with his.

"I love you Akash.", I said.

"I love you too Tittly.", He kissed my forehead and kept his lips on the same spot for sometime.

"I am sorry Akash. I thought that I am a bad omen and I don't deserve to live....", He didn't let me finish my sentence and sealed my lips with his.

"Dare you say anything about dying and going away for me ever.", He said after breaking our kiss.

"If I will be rewarded like this all the time then I will love to commit the same mistake again and again.", I said teasingly and enclasped my fingers behind Akash's neck.

Akash raised his eyebrows amusedly and smirked naughtily.

He opened his mouth to say something but I stopped him by placing my palm over his mouth. I know he will also tease me and will definitely tell something which will make me blush and turn red.

"We will discuss all this later husband.", I said.

"I don't want to discuss. I want to do it with you wifey.", He said sensually and I blushed hard.

I hit him on his shoulder slightly and went away from him while he giggled on my reaction.

I saw Sonia standing with her parents and Satvik. I slowly move towards them to apologize.

I joined my palms together and said,

"Please forgive me Sonia & Satvik. I ruined your Sangeet ceremony. I am sorry."

"Twinny are you crazy? Why are you apologising? You didn't do anything. It was all destined to happen today it's not your fault and who said that my function got ruined?

The night is still alive all my loved ones are here with me. I don't need anything else. We all can still have fun and make it a memorable night. What say?", She enquired excitedly.

I nodded my head in approval and went to arrange everything to turn this not so happening night into the memorable one.
