Sandhya Pov

I came out of the hotel premises and started going towards my orphanage as slow as possible.

I wish, something happens in between and I don't have to go there or at least face that cruel warden.

Suddenly my eyes captured a familiar platinum silver colour car parked on the side of the road.

"Mami!!", I wishpered and the light of joy filled into my dull eyes.

(Mami = Mother's brother's wife)

Yeah! At least something good is going to happen on this unlucky day of mine.

Without wasting any more seconds I rushed inside Riya Mami's boutique.

Riya Mami is Raj uncle's only sister and Karuna Mam's only brother, Karan Mamu's wife. She is very cool and awesome.

I call her Mami because all the kids Roshini, Raushan, Luv & Kush addressed her as Mami and that is why I also started calling her Mami.

Riya Mami loves to shop and she is a crazy Shopaholic. So, she turned her passion for shopping into her source of income.

She is the owner of 'Riya collections', one of the most popular boutique in the town, she owned 5 different shops in 5 different corner of the city, one of them is closed to my orphanage.

She had intentionally opened that shop near my orphanage so that she can visit me anytime whenever she wants to.

"Riya Mami!", I squealed happily the moment I saw her.

"Sannu!", She said being equally excited.

Sannu is a nickname given to me by her.

"I was waiting for you only.", She exclaimed.

I looked at her being extremely confused.

Waiting for me? Was I scheduled to come here today? I thought.

"Oh come on! What you think? Why did I park my car infront of the shop? Obviously! To hint you that I am in here. Dumbo!", She said and hit over my head playfully.

"Ohh!", I said understandingly.

"Now let's go. It's time to celebrate.", She said excitedly.

I furrowed my eyebrows and asked,

"Celebrate?"

"Oh! my naive Sannu. Today you got your first salary. It demands a huge celebration. It's not like you are going to get first salary again and again. First thing happens only first time in life.", She explained.

After listening to her, I remembered today events and pouted sadly.

"Hey, what happened?", She asked worriedly.

"Suresh Bansal took my salary.", I replied.

"I know but you still have 2000 with you. Right? Don't be sad beta. Something is always better than nothing.", She tried to cheer up my mood.

I shook my head gesturing her that I don't have anything.

"What! but according to our plan you were going to hide Rs. 2000 then what happened?", She asked me confusedly.

I explained her everything. How Suresh Bansal came to my work place and received my salary before me.

Riya Mami was the one who had suggested me to work and she was the one who had given me the idea of lying about my salary to others and saving a part of it for myself.

She grabbed my wrist and said,

"Let's go."

"Where?", I enquired.

"It's time to take some revenge.", She said and smirked suspiciously.

Oh God! I bet, Something evil is going on her mischievous mind.

Me and Mami reached my orphanage. I saw three familiar cars parked on the lawn.

I turn my head aside and looked at her amusedly. She smiled brightly and said,

"Let's begin the drama."

We came inside. As planned, she went towards the office area and I hide behind a pillar.

"Bhaiya...", Riya Mami cried dramatically and went towards Raj uncle and hugged him tightly.

(Bhaiya = Brother)

"What happened Iyu? Why are you crying?", asked Karan Mamu, Riya Mami's husband, worriedly.

(Mamu = Mami's husband/ mother's brother)

"Yes Riya, What's the matter?", Rahul uncle also enquired using same worried tone like them.

"This Man.", Mami said pointing her finger towards Suresh Bansal.

"What did he do?", Raj uncle enquired.

"I-I requested him to send Sannu with me just for one day.", She sobbed dramatically and continued,

"As you all know tomorrow is Dheer's birthday and how much he adores his Adhya Di. So, being his lovely mother, I wanted to surprise my son.

But he-he denied my request and shouted on me. He even abused me Karan.", Mami wiped her fake tears.

"Wao! Oscar winning performance Mami.", I murmured and kept on watching the entire act hiding behind the pillar.

All the three men, Raj uncle, Rahul uncle and Karan Mamu glared at Suresh Bansal and he gulped scaredly.

"Hehehe", I giggled and kept my palm over my mouth in order to stop myself from making any noise.

"S-She is l-l-lying", Suresh Bansal stammered while defending himself.

All three of them looked at Mami questioningly.

Shit! I think our game is over. I was enjoying the show.

"Why will I lie?", Riya Mami backfired and increased the volume of her fake cries.

Her husband lost his cool and rushed towards Suresh Bansal angrily.

"How dare you abused my wife?", He grabbed his collar.

I sighed in relief and once again cover my mouth to suppress the sound of my giggles while Riya Mami looked at me and winked. I showed her thumbs up sign.

"Trust me, I didn't even meet her today. I don't know why she is implying fake accusations on me.", Said Suresh Bansal.

"Wait! I think, I know why she is doing all this?", He said thoughtfully.

"I took her whole salary. Am I right Mrs. Singhania?", He smirked evily while looking at Mami and I made fist with each of my hands to control my anger.

Suresh Bansal forgot that his collar is still under Karan Mamu's grasp. The moment Mamu saw him smirking at Mami, Suresh Bansal's nose came in contact with Karan Mamu's knuckles and the red liquid spilled out of his nose.

Yes, nice punch Mamu. I wish! I would have been there in his place. I would love to break some of his teeth using my own knuckles.

"Never ever talk to my wife like that.", Mamu threatened him.

"Sandhya....", Karan Mamu called me loudly.

I became scared because of his abnormal pitch and came out of my hiding place.

"Pack your bags. You will not stay here anymore.", He declared.

"And you, if you try to play any of your rules and regulations game this time then I will not hesitate before taking legal actions against you and the trustees of this orphanage. This time you messed up with wrong person Mr. Bansal.", Mamu threatened him.

Suresh Bansal wiped the blood coming out of his nose using his thumb and stared at me angrily.

Because of his dangerous gaze, I started trembling.

He shook his head gesturing me not to listen whatever they are saying as he always do.

Rahul uncle came infront of me blocking the view of Suresh Bansal and said,

"Don't get scared Adhya. We are with you. Go and pack your bags."

"Riya! You also go with her and help her in packing. We will handle this man.", Raj uncle said to Riya Mami.

She came closer to me and kept her arm around my shoulders and squeezed them slightly.

I lifted up my head and looked at her questioningly. She nodded her head in approval and gestured me to move forward.

We both came to my dormitory.

"Mami, What if he try to stop me again like last time?", I asked scaredly.

"No Sannu, none of his nasty tricks will work this time.", She ensured me.

"How can you be so sure?", I enquired.

"Because that time you were a little girl and your custody lies under this orphanage. But now you are a grown up adult and according to the Indian law, you are very much capable to take your own decisions. That's why, this time he will not be able to trick us.", She explained me.

Flashback

After Raj uncle agreed to sponsor for my further studies, I was on cloud nine and was making my future plans.

Suddenly Raju Bhaiya came to my dormitory and informed me that Suresh Bansal is calling me into his office.

I still remember that tea incident when he revealed about my parents being alive. After that incident, I never entered into his cabin ever in my life.

I did tried to ask him about my parents whereabouts and their names but he never disclosed anything about them and always punished me cruelly. So, being scared of his punishments I stopped asking him.

I knocked his office door once.

"Come in.", He said.

I slowly opened the door and came inside. I stood on the opposite side of his desk like an obedient kid.

He get up from his chair and came closer to me angrily.

"You useless fellow, how dare you?", He shouted and raised his hand to hit me.

I squeezed my eyes scaredly and was ready to feel the pain on my cheeks but nothing happened.

After few seconds when I didn't felt any touch on my skin, I flutter my eyes and opened them slightly.

I saw a stranger standing infront of me and holding the wrist of Mr Bansal. I guess he stopped him from hitting me.

"Who are you and how dare you grabbed my hand?", Mr. Bansal roared angrily.

"And how dare you tried to raise your hands on her?", Said that stranger showing equal anger.

Who is he? Maybe another angel send by God to save me!?

'Thank you God!', I mouthed while looking at the Idol of lord Ganesha.

"It's none of your business. Stay out of it and by the way who are you? His father?", Taunted Mr Bansal.

"No, I am not but will be very soon. I am adopting her.", Said the stranger.

My eyes turned wide in shock. I tried to digest the new information, adoption, father, no.

I don't want to get adopted by anyone. I want to study. Raj uncle is ready to finance me. I don't want any more distractions in my life. Oh God! Please save me. I prayed silently.

"Huh? You will adopt her? How? I will not permit anyone to adopt her?", Said Mr. Bansal and looked at me nastily.

"Why?", Asked the stranger.

"It's my choice.", Replied Mr. Bansal.

"I will send you the adoption paper tomorrow. Just sign on them.", Said the stranger.

"No...", I said loudly.

Both of them focused their attention on me and looked at me questioningly.

"Why you want to adopt me?", I asked.

"This place and this man, both are not good for you.", Said the stranger.

"I have handled both this place and this man since my childhood and I can handle them in the future also.", I said.

"Good, that's like my girl.", said Mr. Bansal.

I wanted to shout that I am not your girl but I choose to stay quiet.

"Did you listen to her carefully?", Said Mr Bansal to the stranger.

"But beta, I can give you much better life.", That stranger said to me.

"I don't want anyone else to give me a better life. I will make my life better by myself. I don't trust anyone. If my own parents can ditch me then what's the guarantee that you will not do the same with me in the future?", I said.

I can't trust anyone. My fate is giving me chance to make my life better by myself and I want to walk on that path. I don't want anyone elses help.

That stranger came towards me and kneeled down to be on my level.

He kept his hand on my shoulders and said,

"I am proud of you. You are really more mature than the kids of your age.", Said the stranger.

My heart overwhelmed after listening his words. It feels like he is not any stranger but someone related to me. Did I made a mistake by denying his adoption proposal!?

"Who are you?", I asked.

Please say, 'I am your biological father, I have realised my mistake and came to take you back with me.', I prayed silently.

"I am Rahul Mittal, friend of Mr. Raj Tandel.", He answered and crushed my wish.

"Raj uncle?", I said doubtfully.

"Yes, your Raj uncle. I just came here to meet you personally but after encountering the scene here, I am glad that I came on right time.", He said while looking at my warden angrily.

"Me too.", I said and giggled slightly.

"Thank you for saving me", I said.

He again turned to look at me and kept his palms under my chin.

"Sandhya, I want to take you away from this hell. I promise, I will let you study and do whatever you want to do in your life. Please, Let me help you.", He requested.

"No Mr Mittal, you can't do that, I will never permit you and before you try to argue with me, I would like to inform you that her custody is under my hands. You can't adopt her without my permission and I am never going to give you any such permission ever.", said Mr Bansal,

"Why are you doing this? It's clearly visible that you don't like her. Let her go with me.", Said Rahul uncle.

"Because of her and your so called Astha organisation, the reputation of this orphanage is getting down. I will not let her go so easily. She will also have to suffer equally.", Said Mr Bansal.

"It's not because of her. It's all because of your unethical standards and games, the reputation is going down.", Said Rahul uncle.

"She should be thankful to us. We gave her food to eat and roof to hide, but no, she wanted those money and decided to run away. Because of her stupidity we got exposed in the market. Now no one is willing to give us any donations. I will never let her stay peacefully.", Mocked Mr Bansal angrily and went out of his cabin.

Flashback ends

I packed all my stuff, whatever little I have while Riya Mami helped me.

After bidding good bye to all my friends we left the orphanage.

I was surprised. Mr. Bansal didn't even protested once. I guess, Riya Mami was saying the truth. This time he doesn't have any excuses to manipulate us and forced me to stay in this orphanage.

We all came to Riya Mami's boutique. I am very happy. I had thought that today was my unlucky day but it turned out to be, one of the most luckiest days of my life. Finally I am out of that orphanage.

"It's time for celebration.", Said Riya Mami the moment we entered inside her boutique.

"Yes, but first of all, I want to know the entire truth.", Raj uncle said to Riya Mami and then looked at me while crossing his arms infront of his chest.

My eyes became wide in shock and I looked at Mami horribly.

"W-What truth Bhai?", She asked.

"You very well know my little sister what truth I am saying about.", Said Raj uncle.

"Ummmm...wo...Bhai. I don't understand, how you always caught me.", Riya Mami whined like a kid.

"Truth, no more drama.", Raj uncle said strictly.

"Okay! Don't get mad. I am explaining everything.", She said.

Flashback

"It's time to take some revenge.", She said and smirked suspiciously.

She picked up her cellphone and called someone.

"Hello Bhai, I am at Sandhya's orphanage. Please come soon.", She said while crying dramatically and hung up the call.

After disconnecting the call she dialled another number.

"Hello Rahul Jiju, I am at Sandhya's orphanage. Please come soon.", She said the same thing while crying dramatically and cut the call.

After disconnecting the call she again dialled another number.

"Hello baby, please come soon. I need you. I am at Sandhya's orphanage.", She said and disconnected the call.

She looked at me mischievously and said,

"All set. Get ready for action."

"What action?", I enquired.

"That Suresh Bansal, the devil warden of yours, is going to face the wrath of my husband Karan Singhania, my brother Raj Tandel and my brother in law Rahul Mittal, all together.", She said.

"How? and What I will have to do?", I asked.

"Nothing, just enjoy the live show.", She said.

"I wish, Karuna Bhabhi and Kareena Di were also here to watch the whole drama. It's going to be fun.", She said excitedly.

"Are you not scared? What if they will find out that you are lying?", I enquired.

"Yes they will definitely find out. Specially Raj Bhaiya after all he knows me very well but I know they will not scold me because they all love me a lot.", She said confidently.

I looked at her amusedly and wondered how she can be so relaxed and chilled.

"Wait! I have an idea, take this.", She gave me her cellphone.

I looked at her questioningly.

"We will record the whole drama and then show it to everyone.", She said excitedly and clapped her hand just like a kid.

"Okay.", I said and we both went towards the orphanage.

Flashback ends

"You recorded everything?", Asked Karan Mamu.

"Yes my dear husband."

"You are dangerous.", He Said.

"Hehehe, and you still love me.", She said enthusiastically.

"Yes, because I don't want to get into any trouble by being in your hating list.", He said.

"Very smart my dear clever husband, and I must say that punch was awesome. It added more spice to the whole recording.", She appreciated him.

"I can't tolerate anyone talking to my Iyu like that.", He Said.

"Yeah talking to your eeyuuu.", Said Raj uncle while making nasty faces as if he is talking about something gross.

"Hahahaha.", We all started laughing.

"Bhai not again.", Mami warned him angrily.

"Okay okay sorry.", Raj uncle apologized.

"Now let's go, tomorrow is Dheer's birthday and there are lots of preparations still pending.", She said and stood up from her seat.

We all cam out of her boutique and I became confused. With whom I will be going?, I thought.

"What happened Sandhya?", Asked Rahul uncle.

"Ummmm! Nothing uncle.", I lied and stood still on my place.

"You are going with me.", He said clearing my doubt and I smiled.

"No she is going with me.", Said Raj uncle.

"No, she is Dheer's birthday surprise. So, she is going with me.", Said Riya Mami.

Oh God! How did I ended up being so lucky. My eyes filled with tears after watching their small argument to take me with them. I lowered my head and wiped the tears before any one can see it.

"But don't you think if you will take her with you now then Dheer's birthday surprise will get exposed before his birthday?", Said Raj uncle.

"Ummmm! Yes Bhaiya you are right. I must say you became smart while staying with me.", Said Riya Mami.

"I am born smart, you became smart because of me.", Said Raj uncle.

"Haha! as in.", Taunted Riya Mami.

And here begins the nonstop siblings fight again.

"Enough both of you. She is not going with any one of you. She is going with me and that's final. Right Adhya?", Asked Rahul uncle and I instantly nodded my head.

"But Dheer..", Riya Mami tried to say something but Rahul uncle didn't let her finish her sentence and said,

"She will be there in the morning with all of us to surprise him."

"Okay.", Mami said sadly and went towards her car.

I settled down inside Rahul uncle's car and he started the engine.
