Sandhya Pov

I came out of my room and went towards the dining area.

I saw Pihu & Saurya Bhaiya eating together in a same plate where Pihu is showing tantrums regarding the meal while Saurya Bhaiya is pampering her like a child and feeding her with his own hands.

"Just one byte more.", He pleaded.

"No you are repeating this same line since last five bytes. I am full.", She complained and pouted like a kid.

"Baby you need to take care of your health. Since last two weeks you are not eating properly. You even hide your medical reports from me. I don't understand why?", Bhaiya said worriedly.

"Well! I have seen her reports Bhaiya and trust me everything is absolutely fine. The reports are positive.", I said and winked at Pihu.

"Oh! Now I understand why you started keeping secrets from me?", He said understandingly. Me and Pihu looked at him confusedly.

"You got your secret keeper back. Right?", He said with a smile and stood up from his seat.

He side hugged me and enquired,

"How are you Adhya?"

"Awesome.", I answered him cheerfully.

After few minutes each and everyone gathered around the dining area to have their breakfast.

Pihu went to have some conversation with a waiter and returned back with another waiter holding a tray in his hand full of cupcakes.

"Attention everyone!", She said loudly.

"I have some sweets for all of you. Enjoy it.", She said and started serving cupcakes one by one to everyone by herself.

I guess she took the slogan of 'Kuch Meetha hojaye' before doing something good from dairy milk advertisement very seriously.

('Let's eat some sweet.')

She gave me a cupcake and said while winking,

"Enjoy it."

I unwrapped the paper around the cupcake and noticed there is something written over it. I read the sentence which says,

'You are going to be Masi (Aunty/ Mother's sister) soon.'

Okay! Now I understand her motive behind these cupcakes. Nice way to reveal the good news. I liked it.

"Pihu! Is it true?", Saurya Bhaiya enquired surprisingly.

She shyly nodded her head in approval. Saurya Bhaiya rushed towards her and picked her up in his arms. He started twirling her happily while Pihu giggled wholeheartedly.

I adored their lovely movement. Awww! So sweet. I am very happy for them. Will I ever get to have such moment in my life?

"Saurya! What are you doing? Keep her down right now.", Mrs Singh scolded him.

He slowly and carefully kept her down as per his mother's instruction.

"Now you need to be extra careful around her beta.", Mrs Singh advised him.

Saurya Bhaiya rubbed his nape sheepishly and apologised shyly.

Everyone one by one congratulated the couple for their upcoming promotion.

We all came to the location of today's event which is an open ground at the backside of the hotel.

I noticed many small-rectangular tables were placed all around the ground. I went towards a table and started inspecting the weird materials kept over it while trying to understand What's going to happen today?

"Hey charity case!", Someone said while tapping my shoulder from behind.

Charity case! Who dares to call me by that name?

I turn around to have a look on the culprit and became stunned after seeing him. What is he doing here?

"Mayank!", I enquired confusedly.

"Glad you still remember me charity case.", He said amusedly.

I glared at him with my anger filled eyes. Mayank Sharma, Satvik's best friend from school. He is a big flirt. I hate him the way once I used to hate Satvik but Satvik is a changed man now and I have no idea about this guy.

"I must say you turned out to be a hot chik.", He eyed me up and down with his lustful eyes and all my doubts got cleared. He is still the same old jerk.

"Mind your tounge Mayank.", I warned him.

"Ufff! Hotness with hot head. I like it.", He said flirtatiously.

There is no benefit to argue with this man. So, I ignored him and again focused my attention on the things kept on the table.

"Impressive! Charity case also learned to show the attitude.", He said.

I am sick with this name 'charity case'. It comes with many bad memories which I never wants to recall. I faced him angrily.

"Stop calling me that. I am no longer a charity case now. So, it's better you stay away from me or else I will kill you with my bare hands.", I pointed my finger towards him threateningly.

"Feisty!", He said and smirked.

I glared at him challengingly and fisted my palm in order to control my anger.

"Relax babes.", He said.

"Youuu......", I said with full irritation but controlled myself.

I know he is trying to infuriate me the way he used to do in school. Back in school I had no choice but to withstand all his doings. But now the situation is different I won't let him trouble me.

I glared at him dangerously and went away with a motive to take revenge from him.

I move towards the group of Sonia's cousins. They were pulling each others leg in a funny way. I shared my motive of seeking revenge from Mayank with them and they all agreed to help me.

"Who is that handsome man?", One of Sonia's cousin 'Neha' said.

I followed her line of vision to see about whom she is talking and my lips curled up in a wide U after watching his charming face. It's my Akash.

"I wish he is single. Bye guys I am going to try my luck.", She disappeared in the blink of an eye by saying that.

I don't know how to react? I am jealous will be an understatement. Of course I am jealous. She went to try her luck on none other than else but my husband.

"Ladies and gentlemen! May I have your attention please.", A lady said over the microphone.

I reminded myself to keep an eye on Akash and went towards the lady to listen whatever she wants to say.

"As you all know we are gathered here to enjoy the pre wedding party of Satvik and Sonia.

So, to make this day memorable we have organised some competitions.

A boy and a girl will be paired up together as a team for this competition and our star couple will be the judges.", She informed and all the youngsters cheered up enthusiastically.

"Both young and old generations can take part in this competition but there is a twist. You can't choose your partner by yourself.", She said.

Everyone looked at her confusedly. If we can't choose our partner then who will?

"There is a pink colour bowl for our pretty girls.", She said while pointing towards her right side.

"And there is a blue colour bowl for our dashing boys.", She said while pointing towards her left side.

"Both the bowl contains similar number of tokens. Whose token matches will be paired together. So, your fate is going to choose your partner.", She said and gestured us to move towards the bowl.

I picked up a token and noticed that there is a number printed on it. The number printed on my token is 29 which means I will have to find a boy having same number of token.

I move forward to search my partner when suddenly my eyes landed on Mayank. He is frowning irritatedly but why?

I noticed there is an old woman clinging to his arms. She must be in her late sixties. Wait! Is she her partner? My eyes widened amusedly and I bursted out laughing hard. I guess God took my revenge from him now he can flirt with that old lady as much as he wants to. Hehe!

I divert my attention from him and once again began my journey of finding my partner. Who it can be?

All of a sudden someone snatched my token from my palm.

"What the....", I turn around abruptly to curse whoever it is but halted after watching his face.

He checked my token number and his lips curled up immediately. Why? Am I...? He showed me two tokens which has same number printed on it to confirm that he is my partner.

I blushed shyly and lowered my head to hide the red tint which I guarantee must be forming over my cheeks.

He came a bit closer and said,

"See our fate also want to pair us together wifey."

I blushed even harder after hearing him but before we can proceed to compete as a pair with other competitors Riya Mami came and said,

"Sannu did you find my partner?"

I looked at with utmost confusion. She gave me an understanding glare and raised her eyebrows as if she wants to give me a hint.

I guess she understood that Akash is my partner and wants to save me from him but how to make her understand that I also want to be paired up with him.

"Ummm! Mami.", I said hesitantly.

"Oh! You also find my partner. Sorry Akash beta I didn't saw you.", She said with a fake smile.

Hmmm! I thought for a minute and came up with a conclusion. Let Mami handle him for a day. It will be fun seeing how she troubles him.

"Yeah Mami. Akash is your partner.", I said and turn to look at his facial expression which seems extremely confuse.

"Who is my partner Mami?", I enquired innocently.

"It's none other than else 'The Rahul Mittal'. Your Dad Sannu.", She said.

"Bye Akash. Will see you in the competition.", I waved my hand teasingly and went away.

His expression was worth to watch. Oh God! Now I am excited for this competition. Poor Akash. Hehe!

All the teams are assembled behind each rectangular table. I am standing with my Dad. On our left side is Akash along with Mami and on right side is Mayank along with that old woman.

Mami seems super excited while Akash is throwing daggers on me and I am trying hard to control my laughter.

"Okay! All of you are ready to have some fun?", The anchor enquired.

"Yeah!", We all shouted excitedly.

"As you can see there are some materials kept on your table. By using those you will have to make a soft toy.

You have 20 minutes time for making it.", He informed.

"Your time starts now.", He said and pressed a buzzer.

I saw a long piece of fur cloth and instantly picked it up. I gestured Dad to pass me the marker kept on his side of table.

I draw a round circle over it and gestured Dad to pass me the scissor. I engrossed myself fully in the task.

Suddenly my eyes landed on Akash and I became stunned. He is wearing a colourful wig and a red colour ball is stuck on the tips of his nose making him exactly look like a joker.

I burst out laughing hard because he is looking absolutely funny. Oh God! I clutched my stomach tightly.

I guess Riya Mami has made him wear those.

"Mami the competition is to make a soft toy not to turn your partner in a soft toy.", I said in between my laughter.

"Oh! Is it?", She enquired doubtfully and winked at me.

With my utmost effort I finally control my laugh and looked at Akash but the moment I saw his face all my efforts went in vain and again I lost control over my laughter.

"To make you laugh I can turn myself into anything. It's just a soft toy.", He said looking into my direction.

I blushed shyly and turn towards my table to hide my blush from him.

"Le jayege Le jayege dilwale dulhaniya le jayege.", Dad sang teasingly.

"Aji reh jayege reh jayege ladki wale dekhte reh jayege.", Akash continued the song making me blush even harder.

("Big hearted People will take away the bride with them., Dad sang teasingly

"Girl's family will be left behind empty handed., Akash continued the song making me blush even harder.)

After twenty minutes Satvik and Sonia roamed around each table as our judges and declared the winner who is none other than else but Mahima Mom and Karan Mamu.

Wah! There Riya Mami's husband is winning the competition along with Akash's mother and here Riya Mami is enjoying the competition while messing up with Akash. Great!

"Now it's time for the next task which  is cooking competition.", The anchor announced.

Me & Dad decided to prepare noodles my favourite dish. Dad is an awesome cook so, I am assisting him in this task like he did at the time of toy making task.

Suddenly a huge volume of smoke erupted from the left side table.

"Oh God Riya Aunty! Do you want to burn us alive?", Akash enquired horribly and poured a jug of water over the pan to extinguish the fire which causes more smoke.

The wind was blowing in such a way that I became the sole target of the smoke and started coughing badly.

"Shit! Tittly.", Akash shouted worriedly and rushed towards me.

He grabbed my wrist and took me far away from the smoke. He made me sit on a chair. I am still a coughing mess. Satvik rushed towards us with a glass of water in his hands but before I can take the glass from him Akash snatched that glass and made me drink it with his own hands.

After few seconds my coughing halted and I sighed in relief.

"How are you feeling?", Akash enquired a bit tensed.

I kept my hand over his and squeezed it slightly.

"I am fine now.", I assured him with a smile.

I saw Mami and Dad approaching us.

"Adhya! How are you feeling beta?", Dad asked worriedly.

"I am really sorry Sannu.", Mami apologised sadly.

I stood up from the chair and twirl around like a child.

"Aai yam chupal phine.", I said in a baby voice making everyone giggle while Akash looked at me amusedly making me blush like a tomato.
