Sandhya Pov

It's been past ten minutes I am continuously trying Akash's number in the hope that at least it will ring once but sadly I am getting the same response again and again.

'The number you are trying to reach is currently switched off. Please try again later.'

I squeezed me eyes and tried to think of some way to find out about his whereabouts. Suddenly an idea popped up on my mind.

I instantly stood up from my seat and went towards the enquiry counter. I enquired about the availability of tickets and thanks to God the tickets are available but the timing of the next flight is after two hours. No problem. For Akash's wellbeing I can wait for eternity and it's only two hours.

Without wasting any second I dialled Dad's number and asked him to book a ticket for me.

I can't sit here and only dial his switched off number. So, I decided that I myself will go where Akash went for his trip and find him.

Initially Dad sounded unimpressed by my decision but I convinced him and he agreed.

I sat down on the bench and waited for these two hours to past as soon as possible.

I entangled my fingers together as if I am praying. Well it's true I am praying. Praying for his safety for his wellbeing.

I continued to shake my feet up and down impatiently, one of my old habit whenever I feel tensed.

I continued to check the time after every five minutes in the hope to pass it soon.

In between I called Binod uncle to inform him that I am going to search Akash. Satvik also wanted to accompany me but I convinced him that his presence is required here. I explained him In Akash's absence he needs to take care of business as well as uncle and Aunty. He understood the scenario and agreed to stay.

Only twenty minutes left for the flight to take off. I stood up from my seat in order to finish all the formalities before boarding the flight.

As I was rushing forward I don't even understand how did this happen suddenly someone came in my way and I collided very badly with his pillar like physique. Damn! My nose.

"Arrrr! Are you blind?", I shouted angrily.

"Hey girlfriend! What a pleasant surprise? Are you here to welcome me?"

This voice! It's familiar. Is he? I instantly lifted up my head to have a look on my culprit and here he is, Akash. Am I hallucinating again?

I observed him from head to toe. I can't believe on my eyes so I did something unusual. I went closer to him and rested my ear over his chest to hear his heart beat. It's really beating. So, it means he is really standing here! I don't know why? I still can't believe it.

I grabbed his jaw in between my palms and twisted them from left to right. It's weird! I don't know why I am doing this? I guess! I need to see a psychiatrist.

I noticed he is observing my every action amusedly with a little tint of confusion.

God! Is he really here?

I saw a lady passing beside us.

"Excuse me!", I said to that lady.

"Yes?", She replied.

"Can you pinch me?", I said while forwarding my right arm towards her.

"Huh! What?", She enquired shockingly.

"Can you pinch me? Please.", I requested her.

She looked at me weirdly as if she is dealing with a mad woman. Obviously! who ask a random person to pinch? Well, It's me and I am sure I have gone nuts. This is what the emotion called love does to your brain.

She shrugged her shoulders casually and finally pinched my arm.

"Auuu!", I cried in pain. It hurts!

"Sorry.", She apologised.

"No no, it's Okay. I myself asked for it. Thank you.", I said and grinned happily.

She nodded her head, once again looked at me weirdly and left.

Slowly I turn my head towards his direction and crossed my fingers hopefully.

He is still standing on the same place which means he is actually standing here infront of me and I am not hallucinating.

I noticed he is looking at me weirdly. I wanted to shout don't look at me like this because you are the sole reason behind my weird behaviour.

Rage filled inside me and I did what I thought is correct. I slapped him hard. Yes, I slapped him.

He has no idea what we all went through because of his sudden disappearance. He deserves this slap.

"Auuuu! Are you crazy?", He enquired while rubbing his cheeks.

"You...you deserve few more Mr Akash Goenka.", I said angrily.

"Hold on wild cat. First at least tell me what's my crime?", He enquired innocently.

I made fist with each of my hands to control my anger.

"You want to know your crime? Come! I will show it to you.", I said.

I grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the airport in full rage. People around us halted to encountered the scene. It's not a daily happenings when you found a girl slapping a boy then dragging him with herself.

I ignored the crowd and went towards my scooty. I kick start the engine and said roughly,

"Get on."

He listened to me like an obedient child without arguing.

If the situation was different from today then I would have considered our ride as a romantic one. Me riding my scooty and Akash sitting behind me but now I am super angry. Why? Because of his carelessness. He needs to be taught a good lesson. So, he won't repeat the same mistake in future.

He has no idea because of him and his carelessness his mother is lying on the hospital bed.

I stopped me scooty infront of hospital. I saw him through rare view mirror he is looking at me confusedly.

"Get off.", I ordered.

"Sandhya..", He wanted to enquire but I showed him my palm and stopped him.

I grabbed his hand and dragged him inside the hospital.

The moment Binod uncle saw us coming he instantly stood up from his seat and rushed towards Akash.

"Akash my son.", He said happily and hugged him tightly.

"Thank you Sandhya you fulfilled your promise and brought my son back.", Uncle said to me while breaking the hug.

The moment uncle leave him Satvik engulfed him in tight bear hug.

"Buddy you scared us today. Please never do this again.", He said while sobbing happily.

"Thank you Sandhya for not losing hope.", Satvik said to me.

I noticed Akash is silently observing everything and he seems confused which means he has no idea what is going on here!

"How's Mahima Aunty uncle?", I enquired.

"Mom! What happened to her?", Akash enquired horribly.

"Now we are talking.", I said while crossing my arms infront of my chest.

"She is absolutely fine. Doctor said because of her blood pressure fluctuations she has fainted. Soon they are going to discharge her.", Satvik informed.

"Fainted! Blood pressure fluctuations! Where is she?", He enquired worriedly and started going towards her room.

"Not easily Mr Akash.", I said while grabbing his hand.

"You are not allowed to see her until you answer all my question.", I warned him.

Some of you must be thinking that I am behaving rude with him but it's needed.

"Leave my hand Sandhya.", He demanded.

"No, why are you behaving like you care for her?", I mocked him.

"What you want to say? I don't care about my own mother.", He said angrily.

"I guess you are not dumb! Where is your cellphone Akash? Why didn't you informed us about your delayed arrival? Why didn't you answered my call?", I shouted.

"Shhh! You are in hospital.", A hospital staff warned me.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the hospital.

"Now answer.", I demanded firmly.

He dipped his hand inside his pant's side pocket. He took out his cellphone and forwarded it towards me.

"Have a look on it then assume things.", He lifted up my hand and kept his cellphone on my palm.

The first thing which I noticed is that it's screen has many cracks. I pressed the power button but nothing happened.

"I was on the way to the airport but because of the heavy traffic I didn't reach on time and missed my flight. So, I booked the ticket of another flight.

I was rushing towards the boarding area when suddenly my cellphone got slipped out of my hands and you can see what happened to it.

Initially the cellphone was on but the screen was not working. After sometime someone called but because of smashed screen I didn't get to know who is calling? I tried to pick up the call but the mobile turned off.

I tried to switched it on but failed. I was getting late and didn't want to miss one more flight. So I ignored it and went forward.", He informed.

"You ignored! Wow! It sounded so cool. Right? But do you have any idea what we went through because of your simple ignorance.", I shouted angrily.

"What you mean Sandhya?", He enquired confusedly.

"I mean the flight Akash. The flight which you missed. The flight by which we knew you are coming. That damn flight got crashed. Satvik almost believed that we lost you forever. Forever!", I yelled while crying.

I am glad that he missed that flight for that I want to hug him tightly but he needs to know what happened in his absence?

"You don't have any idea what I went through. Everyone! Everyone was repeating the same thing again and again but I didn't lose my hope.", I sobbed.

"Crashed!", He said shockingly.

"Yes crashed. Someone informed Mahima Aunty and because of that news she got fainted.", I said.

"You should have informed someone Akash. We would have not been so scared. I was also on the verge to loose hope.", I said.

"I am sorry.", He apologized.

"You can't understand what we went through.", I wishpered in a lowered tone.

"I can understand Sandhya because I love you. I can't even imagine myself in your place.", He said abruptly.

"No, you can't Akash because.. wait! What did you say?", I asked.

Did he just now said love you to me? Yes, I heard that.

"Huh?", He enquired.

"Whatever you said just now repeat it again.", I demanded.

"I said I can understand.", He answered.

"And?", I enquired impatiently.

"And I can't imagine myself in your place.", He replied casually.

"Leave it.", I said.

I guess I am getting mad first I imagined his presence and now I heard him saying I.... Arrrr! I hate my damn emotions. Can't they stay in control for sometime? I irritatedly turn around to go inside the hospital.

But Akash grabbed my arm and pulled me forcefully, as a result I fell over him still somehow I managed to compose myself and tried to go away but he tightens his grip around me.

"Leave me Akash.", I said.

"No, I will never leave you.", He said.

I looked directly into his eyes. They holds many emotions and staring back into my eyes. I kept on observing his two little brown orbs.

The intensity of his eyes caused some tingling sensation on all over my body. His last sentence echoed on my mind 'I will never leave you.'

"Why?", I wishpered.

It's now or never I need to clear everything. I can't stay in this dilemma forever.

"Huh?", He enquired.

"Why can't you leave me Akash?", I repeated the entire question.

He leaned extremely closer to me as if he wants to kiss me but before he can do something like that I turn my face aside. I can't afford any distraction. Today, I want my answer.

He tighten his grip and pulled me little bit more closer. I can feel his warm breath over my earlobe.

"I can't leave you because..", He wishpered.

"Because?", I encouraged him to finish his sentence.

"Because...", He paused.

The intensity of my heart rate increased it seems like it will burst out any moment. I clutched his shoulder with utmost power. I inhale and exhale deeply to calm my hormones.

"Because?", I said but it came out as a wishper.

"Because I..", He again paused.

Now I am getting impatient. I want him to say and somewhere I believe that whatever he is going to say is what I wants to hear.

"You?", I pushed him to complete his sentence.

"Because I trust you.", He said and my heart broke.

It's good that he trust me but this is not what I wanted to hear.

"Good now let me go.", I said dissapointedly.

"I am not yet finished.", He said.

Once again hope started building up inside me but this time I controlled my emotions because it hurts. It hurts when you expect something and nothing like that happens. So, I didn't expect anything and remained calm and neutral.

"Hmmm!", I just hummed lowly.

"I can't leave you Sandhya because I trust you, because you are my life, because I can't imagine my future without you, because I.."

His words numbed my senses 'you are my life' 'I can't imagine my future without you' Why he is saying all these things to me? As a friend! Or something else!

"I love you Sandhya.", He said.

"As a friend.", I finished his sentence for him.

"What?", He asked confusedly.

"I mean you.. you love me as a friend. Right?", I enquired hesitantly.

"Yeah! I love you as one friend loves another friend and I also love you as a boy loves another girl.", He said.

I remained stunned did he! Did he actually confessed his feelings as a lover? Nah! I am again taking all these in a wrong way. I should not put my hopes so high or else when I will fall down I will be injured badly.

I was fighting with my inner self when suddenly Akash loosened his grip and took few steps backward. I don't have the courage to look at him so, I didn't bother to lift up my head.

I kept on looking at the tiles when suddenly Akash grabbed my hands and said,

"Look at me Tittly."

Tittly? Oh! Now I get it. He is also hallucinating his love Tittly just like I was hallucinating him.

"I am not Tittly Akash.", I corrected him.

He chuckled a bit and once again repeated his sentence,

"Look at me."

This time I obeyed and looked at him.

"You are my Tittly Sandhya and I love you since the day I saw your beautiful eyes. I still remember that day when we collided and collapsed for the first time. That day you went away but you also took my heart along with you.

You didn't introduce me. Girl! you didn't even talk to me. You just glared and went away. Since that day you are my Tittly. I didn't knew your name so I started calling you my Tittly.", He said.

I kept on looking at him doubtfully trying to figure out any mischief behind his confession but his eyes says that he is talking each and every word straight from his heart.

So, it means he really loves me! My Akash really loves me. My happiness has no boundaries today. Oh God! He also love me.

My vision got blurred and happy tears started dropping down. I still think like I am dreaming and it's not real.

"Pinch me.", I said.

"What?", He reacted shockingly.

"I want to confirm I am not dreaming. So, pinch me.", I said.

I wanted him to pinch me but what he did next stopped my heart instantly. He claimed my lips. Oh God!

His soft lips lingered above mine for few seconds without any movement creating many unknown sensations all over my body.

Slowly after few seconds he began moving his lips while I still remained stunned like a statue. I don't know what to do? I had never kissed anyone before.

I copied his actions and tried moving my lips too. I felt his lips curling up in between the kiss and making me blush in return. He smiled because I also tried to show my affection and make some effort.

He sucked in my lower lip and bite them a little bit which causes me to gasp and opened up my mouth slightly. He took the advantage and shoved in his tounge inside my mouth making me taste his saliva while he tasted mine too. I don't know if he liked my taste or not but I am sure I am going to get addicted to his taste it's so intoxicating.

After few minutes of sweet torture we parted our lips but our foreheads are still touching. He brushed his nose slightly with mine and once again repeated those three magical words.

"I love you."

I smiled shyly and wishpered,

"I love you too."

"Oh God! Guys? Have some mercy on my virgin eyes.", Someone shouted.

I instantly jerked away from him and noticed that it's Satvik who has shouted.

"Come on Buddy! You ruin our moment.", Akash complained.

I blushed shyly and rushed towards the hospital but before I can enter inside I saw Binod uncle and Mahima Aunty coming out together.

"How are you Aunty?", I enquired.

"Absolutely fit and fine.", She answered cheerfully.

"But you look different beta.", She said.

"Different?", I enquired.

"Yes, your cheeks are pink and you are glowing.", She said and look behind me.

"Okay! I got the reason behind it. I guess my son hits the bullseye today.", She said and I flushed.

"I...", I wanted to give her some excuse but she cuts me in the middle and said,

"Finally he confessed his feelings. Now I can't wait to officially make you my daughter.", She said happily while I looked at her with wide eyes.

Official daughter! Means... Oh God! Is she talking about mine and Akash's wedding? Am I ready for this step?
