Had this idea for a few days now, kinda based on some other fanfics with this as a sideplot but I'm using it as the main plot lol 

"Have you heard about the dance that's happening? It's like a masquerade, but we dress up like our akumas instead!" Alix cheered before school started. "It's gonna be LIT!" 

"Y'know, Marinette is an amazing seamstress. She could totally hook us up with some awesome costumes!" Nino offered. Alya perked up at the mention of her friend.

"Y'know, the only kids that haven't been akumatized are Adrian and Marinette."  Alya commented aloud.

"Really? Never noticed that..." Mylene said.

"It's probably just a coincidence. Marinette and I aren't anything special." Adrian joined in the conversation, his attention jolting at the mention of himself and akumas.

"It's weird though..." Alya trailed off, glancing Adrian over with a thoughtful face. "Who are you guys gonna be then?"

The blonde boy thought about it for a moment, before a sly smile was painted onto his face. "I have an idea..."

TBH I might start writing this now because this feels like it would be a lot of fun to write but I might not post it immediately or often or anything like that

The plot would be (after something similar to the above conversation) that people start to get suspicious that after all these akuma attacks and most of the school being akumatized yet neither Marinette nor Adrian have so far. The duo has to start dodging questions and (a certain up-and-coming journalist) as well as trying to discreetly not question each other's uncanny purity in and out of costume. 

"So, Marinette."

"Y-Yes A-Adrian?"

"What do you say about you and I going to the upcoming masquerade as Paris's heroes among the villains?"

"W-WHAT?!"

Bonus because I feel like it:

"C'mon, how hard can it be for you to be Ladybug? I mean, if that's who you want to go as-"

"I UH, UM, SURE! P-P-PIECE OF CAKE. I can do Ladybug!"

"Thought so, considering those earrings and everything..."

Is Adrian onto me or what?!?!?!?
