Monsters vs. Aliens

Synopsis:

Susan Murphy, a normal female human lived a perfect, normal life. She had a good family and a fiance named Derek, a Weather News reporter. However, it changes when a mysterious meteor crashes onto her in her wedding day. She suddenly transforms into a 50 ft. giant woman and was captured by the government.

When a mysterious alien intend to invade Earth with a giant robot, Susan now codename as "Ginormica" along with her childhood friend who is now a former U.S. Marine Corps soldier turned secret agent, Matthew Mills(OC) and a motley of monsters, the insect-like Kaiju "Insectosaurus", the fish-like monster "Missing Link", the blue goo-like monster "B.O.B". & the talking cockroach "Dr. Cockroach" teamed up to stop the alien invasion.

My Thoughts:

Monsters vs Aliens was the first movie that introduce me to the Kaiju genre such as Godzilla. It was underrated but a great movie though and heck, they had their own TV series.

It's too bad it didn't have a sequel.
