Having felt he didnt have a fulfilling life, he accepted Alaya's offer, however, unlike EMIYA(who is female), Seich didnt listen to everything Alaya said, he would fulfill his mission, but he would not kill witnesses, he would try and fulfill the mission as peacefully as possible.

He traces Gauntlet based weapons, even making Gauntlet variations of the weapons of other Servants hes met.
