While on his cross country road trip, Steven's Dondai breaks down in New Salem on the monster side of town. He trys to ask around for a mechanic, but the monster citizens aren't having it and tell him to buzz off. He then meets Bloodgood, who helps him out. She offers him a place to stay at her home until the repairs are done, this leads to Bloodgood learning of Stevens heritage and roadtrip, and lack of highschool education. She asks if he would mind staying and attending monster high. He decides to do so because he wants to try the experience of school again, after the accident at Connie's school(comics).
