Pretty much Quahog is a town in Unova, and the Griffin family are trainers, Peter's starter was a Riolu, who is now Brian(who can still speak), Lois was a contest trainer due to pressure from her father so she has a Lopunny(male) as her starter.

Chris started with a Magby named Burn Assault(Burn for short) he has a fully evolved to due to completely participating in the unova gym circuit, unlike most of the school. His traveling companion is Neil, who started with a Sigilyth.

Meg started with a Machop name Brucie who is now fully evolved, she participated in the gym circuit a year before Chris and actually got to face Alder, but lost, she strove to be strong so she wouldn't be ignored at home anymore(she was a victim of neglect this time around and not abuse, thankfully the family realized this and immediately corrected this when she got home), most of the school seems to not even realize the Griffin siblings actually completed the gym circuit, thinking they don't even have pokemon, much less a single badge. But neither of them really care cause they know they did well, and thats all they really need to know. She also the one who stopped Team plasma, and caught Reshiram.

Brian is less of a horn dog this time, tho he still is a horny fuck, he and Peter actually can use mega evolution.

Stewie actually was gifted a starter as a 5 year old(the age he is when the story begins) by Peter, who notices how smart he is(tho Peter hasn't seen Stewies main inventions like the time machine), a Abra(a special trained one who teleports medical patients), but Meg actually planned to do the same thing, catching a Slowpoke and a Shellder with a Kings rock so Stewie has a Slowking. Stewie is alot kinder and and more vigilante style with his intelligence, hes befriended both a Celebi and Dialga from using his Time machine, hes also made a Porygon that has the Multitype ability rather then trace. Hes also stopped evil teams from reforming using cyber attacks on them, destroying them Financially and technologically, this includes Plasma, who he stopped from reforming and releasing the Genesect swarm.
