The reader was once your average human, but he unknowingly won the attention of a witch, who wanted him to herself. She got ahold of a Werewolf Fang Dagger, a Knife made from a Curse type Werewolfs fang, and an enchantment to control those cut by it, said cuts turn the victim into Curse Type Werewolves. She slashed him, but was found out and arrested. Y/n was kicked out of his old school due to no longer being human, it didn't affect him that much due to being slightly antisocial. He later then was transferred to monster high shortly before the merger between the Vampire and Werewolf schools.

Curse type werewolves originated from people wanting the power of a werewolf with out being turned into one, it failed, turning into a conceptual imprinting curse, turning those infected into the clique Lycanthropes from movies. Over time the curse changed as the result of the victims desires, allowing those cursed to retain sanity in wolf form, and the ability to control transformation when ever they want.
