The reader is a shy individual who goes to Kuoh, along side his adoptive brother Issei. He is a gamer, who wants to interact with people but he gets to nervous and ends up stutter, which has earned him the title of "The Shy Prince of Kuoh". He one day gets a strange device in the mail, a belt and a device called a Dual Gashat. Hes a huge Otaku who takes the lessons in series to heart, one being "the quickest way to power is the worst, you have to earn and collect that power until it's an unstoppable explosion" and "Power doesnt come from a desire, it comes from a need, you have to make that need", so he won't become a devil by choice. He has used one of the fliers before and called Koneko, and asked her too play Pokemon Sword and Shield with him in a online battle.

When he opens up to people hes a still a bit timid, but hes more open and slightly goofy and loveable, hes also intelligent, and has been asked by Sona to play a game of Chess once in a while.

He also has gained a habit of trying to look at a situation from all perspectives, so he'll try to understand others reasons for doing things, and try to help them with the wisdom he's accumulated from watching anime.

No one knows his Identity as Para-DX until the Riser arc, where he catches the eye of the Supernatural world. He'll act as a Proxy piece for Rias in the Rating game.

When the reader gets the Gamer Driver, he gets two separate  gashat for the Dual Gashat, Perfect Puzzle and the Knock out one., so he can still use secondary gashat armor.
