(Gosh, this is a long one. Have fun with my or not really my ideas.)

Also, I wrote this some time back. I like writing ideas down like this, for myself and thought I would publish it for others, so I can get feedback and other opinions on this.

If you want to work with any of these, as long as it doesn't say that it's not original, please ask me about using these. I'll give u permission if u ask. (probably and most likely)

Reader Ideas

1. Some kind of Ghost reader idea??

Reader has a condition, where they sometimes, at random times, leave their body and stay a ghost. Their body collapses and sometimes hurt themselves in the process. Hence why the reader makes sure to never do something that could become life threatening for them (swimming, dancing, etc.).
The reader does cook or do other things(walking up the stairs), and makes sure to fall to the ground safely if it were to happen.
Just before they collapse, nausea hits them and they have trouble standing. They collapse after a few seconds. The reader started counting how much time it takes after the nausea hits them. It takes about 10 seconds.
While in ghost form, they are bound to their body. They cannot leave it too far away and they cannot interact with the living world. There would be just cold air for other people walking through.
1.1 Backstory
Maybe they were on the verge of death, but survived through a 'miracle'(could be the dude/person reader is being shipped with that saved them) but they are on the verge of life and death. In conclusion the readers body sometimes thinks that it's dead and eject the readers soul/consciousness.

(Yup, this is my original idea, I think. I liked it, so that's all.)

2. Hanahaki disease reader.

Yeah, that stuff with the blossoms and flowers coming out of their mouth.
I'm writing this down, so that, when I have no ideas, I can think of something.

(You can work with this, since it's not original. Just wrote it down, cause, when I search for ideas, and don't have any, these things could help.)

3. Reader transforming to another race??
I dunno, but I like Sirentale and Birdtale and all that stuff. Maybe make it so that reader loves whoever from those universes, but is from another race, unable to live with them or by their standards. Maybe human, or something else. n e ways, reader desperately wants to be with whoever they fell in love with, but can't.
Then, somehow (maybe it was an accident, a relic, a witch, or whatever), the reader gets wings/tail/etc. and can join their love wherever they are.

OMG no this is horrible. But maybe you get a better idea from this. (---> this was a note for future me, lol)

(... To be honest, I hate this idea, but for the sake of inspiration I wrote it down.
Also, stuff like this already exists, so u can work with the transforming part if u want to.)

4. Reader with cancer? Or maybe another deathly disease? It would be a sad love story. I wouldn't want to make it one with a happy ending, tbh.

5. Butler Reader? I mean, a master-servant love would be fun to write.
Reader is a servant through signing a contract. They pretty much sold their life and being, in exchange for their family's chance at a better life.
Said family made it out from the slums and lived happily in the city.
Reader can't visit them, though, since they always have stuff to do.

(The base idea is not original, but the plot is, I think. So please ask if u want to work with this.)

6. Child reader? Yep, creativity streams through my veins.
I don't want to make it too depressing, but maybe Reader was sold to *insert name* by parents for money.
Wait, it got depressing all of a sudden.
Anyways, not like a slave, more like a deal with the devil kind of thing. So, maybe with Nightmare?? •-•
Or maybe with someone else? I mean, it could also be a slave deal.
If those are too depressing, how about the parents abandoning the reader or the parents dying?
If parents died through accident or something (car accident) or something else were the reader barely survived, maybe they get a disability. (blind, mute, deaf, lost function in legs or an arm, etc.)

(plot is mine? Prolly not. But u can work with the child reader thingy. That ain't original.)

7. Chef Reader? I mean, it would be funny. Reader is a chef, with magic specialized in cooking. Meaning, that food gibes certain little boosts for a while, after it was digested. That means, that the effect would only really kick in after 10 minutes or more or less, depending on the dish. It lasts hella long though. That means, that food does. Drinks or Potions don't as much. They are better suited for quick healing though.
So even though they say that they are a chef, people call them witch or other stupid names.
(Maybe if this will be a ship, readers love interest finds their ability fascinating. Maybe, if it's sci, they want to study your magic or discover the possibilities with the readers magic and talent.)

(Okay, this is original. My creativity is sky high and tbh, I would love to make such a reader oneshot.)

8. Disability reader. The name says it. I'm just writing this down, so you can have ideas from this. Maybe get some inspiration.

9. Shape-shifter reader. Reader can shape-shift. It's their unique magic that they're being hunted down for.
So reader, instead of being monster or human, often stays a bird or cat, matching the surroundings. Reader often pranks people being a black cat and walking across the street, giving the people a bad omen. Besides that, they live off of begging for food as a cat and eating whatever they can find in parks and forests as eatable food. They don't remember much about their family or past life, when they didn't have to fight to stay alive. (cat fights... territory issues... etc.)

(haha, I think this ones pure chaos. Plot is one of the many possibilities I had in mind lol.
But I think that shape-shifter reader exists, so u could work with the base idea if you'd like.)

10. Mermaid/merman reader.
They would be living with their folk, didn't the other mermaids and mermen exile and abandon them (maybe because they've been born with a black tail, and the folk saw it as a curse) Reader has been living alone since that day. They hunt alone, they sleep alone, they are alone.
Reader gets very independent ([If maybe undertale au?]and gets very sad, when they sometimes watch humans/monsters have nice relationships. Not only that, but no one seemed to be discriminated against.
Reader wished and longed for something like that.
Merman and maids are just a legend among the people on the surface. When the monster-human war began, all other 'mythical' creatures went into hiding and never showed themselves again.
Now that it's not like that anymore, the different races are debating whether to show themselves or not.
The reader didn't care either way. [So, maybe they met someone on the surface? Plot twist: they were a Siren (are Sirens always female? Google that) all along and mezmerized someone from the surface, cursing them into loving the reader?])

(haha, plot definitely has some holes, lol. Plot is original. The idea itself [mermaid/man reader] not)

11. Musician reader!!!!! I love this idea. Maybe violin or cello. Or trumpet or something else. Clarinet, etc.
Well, anyways! They play an instrument, as a hobby and to calm their anger, stop feeling all too lonely or other stuff. Generally to just feel happy.
Reader likes lots of music types, but their most favorite would be orchestra music, band music, jazz, classic, etc., because instruments fascinate them and how they can play so well in harmony, with just a few simple cords or notes. So, they love listening to that kind of music, while others might like pop music more.
(Love interest might move near them or reader moves near love interest. Love interest hears reader playing every now and then, pretty often as well, and started being able to discern, according to what they play and how they play it, how the reader is feeling like.
Love interest grows to love the music a lot.) (Imagine it being Dancetale Sans. He would get a feel for the music pretty fast. Maybe make a one shot?)

(Yup, I am very creatiwe, as u can see. But it could be a fun little story.
Idea itself isn't original. The plot should be as far as I know.)

12. Sculptor reader?
I mean, like a reader that sculpts out of various things. Be it soap, wood, stone, etc.
They sell their works on the street market or gift them to orphanages or organizations, that gift toys and other things to children or people across the world, who don't have as much luck as others.
Their most favorite piece, that you didn't sell or gift, was a chess set out of wood with beautiful little flower decorations in the corners. It took them a long time to make, but it filled them with happiness. Besides that, it was one of their first big projects and has a lot of nostalgia to it(?).
(Maybe love interest works in an organisation, helping children across the world?)

(The base idea is cute, but it's more like a trait. And the plot is somewhat uninteresting in my opinion. Who knows, maybe I can work with this once I am smarter?

13. Dead/Ghost Reader.
The reader died to a disease, an accident or other things and remains a ghost, that forgot about how they lived, but still felt emotions towards certain things as if they did. They are bound to their gravestone, only being able to move inside the graveyard.
One of them would be the deep love they feel towards their love interest. It confused them at first, why they felt that way, but as that person kept visiting, telling stories about their day and so on, the reader soon understood, that they were in a relationship before their death.
They felt sad, for the person. Bad for them as well. They just hoped that they would move on, seeing as they are only hurting from the reader being gone.
They might feel jealous for others being alive and them not.
(Somehow, they were able to temporarily possess a cat, walking to their love interest and comforting them as best as they could.(?))
(Maybe the gravestone gets knocked over from a storm? Maybe something magical could happen. Maybe they would see each other again. But I like sad endings as well.)

(... It's pretty obvious that I like cats, isn't it? Welp, anyways, I like this idea. Maybe I/you or whoever could write this as little entries? I dunno.

14. trapped in void reader?
Well, Readers universe got wrecked and their code mysteriously survived in the void/anti-void. They hated the loneliness, the vast white/black the fact, that there was nothing.
They felt like going insane. They felt like dying. They felt like they didn't belong anywhere anymore.
The voices they started to hear made it even more unbearable. While they appreciated the fact, that they could hear something else at first, the remarks and ideas they gave them made them insane.
But people who hear voices are insane already, aren't they?
Reader is helpless.
(Love interest could save them before they become an error. Or Reader becomes an error and love interest and error reader somehow fall in love.)

15. Yandere Reader...
But just imagine it, alright? They fell in love with someone, and try to somehow get their feelings across. They can't, as they are always too flustered and a shying mess in front of the love interest.
When they notice others hitting on them, they try, at first normal and harmless ways, to rid the competition. Harmless ways would be shipping and setting up dates for rivals, making the readers crush dislike the rival through false or true rumors, weird pictures etc. or making the rival leave town or wherever they are, as their reputation sinks and they get bullied too much for them to handle. The more extreme means would be assassinations, torture, kidnapping and so on...
Hopefully the love interest wouldn't find out :]

(... I always read relationships and ships were the love interest is the yandere and not the reader. I wanted to change it.
This isn't original as far as I know. You can work with this.)

16. Cat Reader.
No, not nEkO Reader, but CAT. That means, that the reader is not a human or hybrid, but a cat.
Maybe a cat in Chino's Caffe or whoever they are lol (Yes, I have no clue yet. Gotta Google that stuff). Or maybe the housecat or whoever ya want. Maybe reader could be a stray, wandering around the city and forest, searching for the cat/person they long for. Upon finding their 'mate' they stay with them. They hunt for them, even though it seems to be unappreciated, they cuddle with them, when they think they need it or the reader does and they protect them from other cats and vise versa. Kinda. I mean, this sounds cute, right? Right??

(I seriously think that this idea is cute. Cats are my comfort animals u could say, so making such a little book or something.

... what if I made a comfort book, where Reader just gets comforted by Cats and animals and Girl/Boyfriends or whatnot...... Seriously, though, who would read something like that?)

17. Reader is cursed. They love singing, humming and music. When they do any kind of music expertly (they don't have to try), animals come closer, listening intently.
Humans/monsters however react differently towards it.
Either aggression and possessively or loving and simp-ish.
It's not an extreme curse, but ever since reader knew, they stopped singing, even though they enjoyed it to their hearts content. It became unbearable for them, not being able to sing or hum, making music with their hearts content, so they do it secretly. (What if they try to kill themself in mount ebbot during the war, because of the war and their curse, being bullied and kicked out of the village for it. They live underground in the winter zone and live life in a cave? They get food through the frozen forest, those containing eatable but frozen fruits, berries and mushrooms. No animals. Reader lives a lonely life, being able to do music though, making them feel happy and fulfilled. Like music brings them unattainable happiness. Like it was a sickness, not being able to be truly happy without it. Then sans/love interest comes at some point, investigating the mountains, since perfectly happy and nice monsters dust themselves, falling off the cliff. They fall off, cause the monsters follow the music and loose complete control of themselves. Mind included....
This turned out to be a lot darker than I thought.)

Reader: Reader loves the moon. The nightsky. Most people prefer the sun over the moon, saying that it's always nice, warm and bright, but Reader loves the night, seeing the moon as not so lonely. The sun outshines every star in the sky, making them the only sphere visible, but the moon doesn't do that. They shine, but are not shining alone on the night-sky. Reader admires that. The fact that the moon shines beautifully but doesn't outshine anyone in the sky.
Reader wishes to be just like that.
(Maybe a prince/ss  au, where Reader has ton of magic and capability and outshines everyone like the sun, despite hating exactly that. Other people even complement her and refer to her as the empires sun.
Or they're a magician. I dunno.)

(This is inspired by some Nightmare x reader book. I forgot the name... sorry [I believe it was 'By his side'])

19. 'The children's rebellion' inspired Reader. Reader is a survivor of a spaceship attack. They were a child at that time and solely survived through escaping in a space shuttle. They drifted in space for a long time, crashing onto a planet at some point. (Maybe make this an Outertale x reader? Can be a child Reader as well.)

(If u like TommyInnit, Origins SMP and a lot of angst, drama, mysterious backstories and space, I recommend 'The children's rebellion' by heart. It's great and takes more than just a few hours to read.
You can find it on Ao3, as it has been deleted on Wattpad, as far as I can tell. :D )

20. Reader has a passive ability/ curse, that came with their soul. Their soul is able to absorb negativity or positivity (not both), when exposed to such emotions. They had to expand their magic capabilities because of that, or their body would've rotten (like nootmares goop) or exploded (symptoms–internal bleeding, etc.).

I think this would make a great x Nightmare or x Dream fanfiction.)
