"this too is your choice"

a character driven by the idea that everything in his/her life is destined to happen so there's no reason to fight it, or learn from it, since all his/her choices have already been made.

they use the idea of destiny to explain their horrible behavior, how far can it go?  Sleeping around, Murder perhaps?

I'm thinking small town coming of age story, this character could be the antogonist or the protagonist depending on the story you want to write.
