Sci-fi adventure with possible romacne elements.

Were not too much further into the future.   The internet has merged with VR technology,allowing for near seemless inclusions of gamespace,with Virtual Workspaces. In this day and age people have implants that allow them to access the web, or fully submerge themselves into it built into their heads.

the successful people are the ones that can use more of their brain's capacity and cross over to working in both the real world and the virtual world, thus thouse who can devote more than 50 percent of their brain to working in VR while still being IRL.

A hacker finds his way into people's heads through a game, and is able to distort what they view as reality and control people.  it start off easily enouhg, a rise in crime including robberies etc but quickly turns into assassinations and mass histeria, as a populace strive to unplug themselves a single man embarks on a mission to end the hackers life, or does he?
