     This story is based on American Horror Story: Freakshow.  The story will be about a circus that comes to a small town and the townspeople start to disappear.  The disappearances are similar to disappearances decades earlier while a different circus was in town.

     I'm going to write a prologue that could stand by itself, but it will tie in with the main plot.  The prologue will be about the first disappearances.

     I got this idea while thinking of how to make a story based on Freakshow while listening to Florence and the Machine's "Third Eye."

     I've made some progress with the book, but I still need to plan out how to connect all of the major events.  There will be a chapter based off of the midnight game video by Sam Golbach.

     I believe Gateway is past the halfway point.  I'm going to try to post every Saturday until it is finished.  This is my first project that has gotten this close to being finished, and it's very different than everything else I've written so far.  Gateway has a lot of references to characters and storylines that I plan to write.  There are 11 villains that are either mentioned in the book or participate in the book, and only 3 of the 11 play the role of the antagonists. The other 8 will play bigger roles in later books.
