girl on the street;

just like every other day, the girl ambled towards her usual spot along the streets of hongdae and set her belongings down onto the ground. catching a few familiar faces, she nodded her head politely at some of her regulars who were already gathered around the area.

slowly retrieving her guitar from the casing, the girl then walked towards the mic confidently before she started strumming her guitar to a tune.

"fall, fall, fall, heuteojine,"

she started singing and soon, the crowd grew bigger and bigger. however, oblivious to everyone, among them all, there also stood jeon jungkook.

after a tiring day of practice, jungkook had decided on taking a break and hence, he eventually ended up shopping around hongdae. most of the time, he was just doing window shopping when gradually, he got attached to this melodious voice which soon came echoing through the dark night.

following the sound, jungkook at last arrived at the performance site and secretly hiding behind the rest, he perked his head up slightly to catch a glimpse of the performer. 

"what a decent looking girl", he chuckled to himself and only until the girl had ended the song and bowed to her audience did jungkook finally snapped back into reality. thoughout her performance, jungkook couldn't deny the fact that he was exceptionally drawn to her voice. but now, picking up his duffel bag from the ground, he slung it over his shoulder momentarily before turning his back on her. smiling to himself, it was then jungkook vowed to make that something happen.

"no matter what, i will fight for you to get into bighit", he uttered.
