[Contest Fear?]
Ruby smiled as Analisa, his favorite little reporter, raced up to him. He might not be dating her, but she could put the real fact out into the open. Her famous three articles; "A Performer's Spotlight", "Masters of Trainers", and "Ancient and Modern Heroes"; were huge in the world. She stuck to the facts and nothing less than that. He knew he could count on her to get everything pretty accurate. He was with Sapphire, who hadn't gotten jealous of the reporter, and Emerald, who had gotten used to her. Her smile made herself known as her notebook appeared.
"Mr. Ruby, Mrs. Sapphire, Mr. Emerald. May I ask you guys some things?"
"Of course, Analisa." Sapphire said with a grin. The reporter grinned as the questions went flying.

Ruby immediately slammed his door after a letter arrived at his contest workshop. He wiped his face as he slipped under the covers. He couldn't afford to be seen like this. Unless you're Sapphire, who was alerted by his sudden arrival and actions.
"Ruby?" He kept his mouth shut as her voice came from the door. "Is it safe to enter?" He only let a soft noise emerged as he hugged his pillow and buried his face into it. She went in and to his side. "Ruby?"
"What-" He finally choked out. She pulled him into a hug and calmed him down.
"Woah... woah... woah... what happened..." He trembled in her arms as he pulled out the letter that looked like he almost had destroyed it. She took it from his shaking hands and skimmed over it.
"Dear Ruby,
We are excited to share with you that our monthly Pairing Contests will be happening and the end of this week.
We hope to see you perform!"
The word 'pairing' caused her to drop the letter and hug him tighter.
"Ruby-"
"Please don't tell me-"
"No no no..." She ran a hand across his back. He trembled as Emerald called out.
"We're back!" She smiled as Ruby relaxed in her arms, falling asleep from the strain.
"Hey guys." Emerald poked his head in with a grin. That grin vanished at the sight of Ruby as he went over.
"Did something happen?" She nodded to the note that was on the ground. The smaller boy gulped before climbing up and rubbing Ruby's back.

Ruby avoided Aira the entire day. He knew what she wanted. He caught her eye and hid behind Sapphire.
"Aria's looking for me."
"Uh... no she's not."
She grabbed his hand and pulled him around a crowded corner. She was able to get him in the greenery before the female passed them. He smiled.
"Thanks..." He murmured as he put his head on her shoulder. She nodded.

Ruby gulped as he slipped into the chair beside Analisa. It was the end of the week and the performances were happening. He wasn't taking part, just there to see how Aria and Fred did. The first three performances made him regret showing up as the leading partner of each performances kept dropping the other. At the end of them, the wounded performer would limp off the stage. It was quiet as they set up for Fred and Aria's performance. He finished calming himself down as the announcer came on.
"AND NOW FOR OUR FINAL PERFORMANCE... ARIA AND FRED WITH DAYBREAK!"
The music kicked on as Ruby immediately looked out onto the stage.
It wasn't a bad performance at first. They had done a ballet-ice skate hybrid dance. Aria on ballet, Fred on ice skate. They were pretty good until they got set up for a toss. Then Ruby got nervous. Aria, with Fred's help, got up onto his shoulders then head. With a small sign, they spun, in different directions. Ruby trembled as Aria sudden pushed herself into the air, still spinning. She flipped three times before she went down. Analisa had to grab his hand as he panicked.
"Please don't-"
His words were cut off as Fred successfully caught her and raced over to her spot in the center of the stage. They cleanly finished the performance with no injuries. Ruby just stared with his hand faintly over his mouth.
"They.... they..." Analisa eyed him as he stared in shock. "They did it..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ruby sat quietly in his room as he replayed the performance toss. There was so much grace and trust that it was almost impossible. He felt his heart skip a beat each time he saw the toss. How was it possible. He finally closed it down and closed it up for the night. But the thought never left his mind.
[Shaking Bond]
X was quiet as he sat in his room. His phone was against his ears as tears stained his face.
"Yes... I promise... I know.... I will... thank you... I promise... yes........... bye-"
He hung up as fresh tears joined him dried ones.
"I promise upon my life..."
He hissed lightly as the Dexters were torn apart by a few Dimwits. They weren't on his good side anymore. Y had jumped out of the way from an attack before a knife cut off his streak. The attackers turned as a dangerous aura encased the Kalos Blade.
"You... you..." His eyes flashed as he met their's. "That's it. You're dead. Haley!"
The knife purred before it raced forward and began taking the attackers out. The Dexters paused before three other knives joined it. He floated up to a higher level of the air as Haley returned to his side and the others entered his coat sleeve. He let a growl lose as Haley spun beside him, making a swirl of wind and power.
"Haley! Upon the demise of your target, let them know your position and end this war!"
No spell was called, but a snap of the fingers made the alert of an incoming attack well known. The knife raced forward and struck the ground. A huge hole appeared as a twister formed. The events inside were masked after that, but the screams said enough. The aura didn't fade until the knife returned and he landed.
"Better. Now... I best get the kit out and examine all members that were active. Let's go..."
Y stayed quiet as the others stared and X walked away from the group. It took two seconds before Y spoke.
"Alright... time to get the blanket."
[Winds of Power]
Pearl huffed as he used the winds to push back the chunks of earth back in their respective places. This was getting annoying. He sighed softly as he landed at his house and went inside.
"Let me kill him."
"Why?" His mother replied.
"He won't collide with me and is getting on my nerves."
She giggled at her son's dismay as he grabbed some food for himself.
"You definitely got a lot more from your father. He would always complain about it when the father of your opponent did this. It seems to run through that side of the family..." He chuckled at her words.
"And... Where is your part of the family?" She hummed at his question.
"I don't know my family's history. Whatever I passed down, I wouldn't know." He scoffed a little at that.
"I'll be digging for that later..." He sighed. "Meanwhile, I have to deal with this guy..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pearl growled as a brown haired boy loomed over the other Dexter's. This guy was getting on his nerves. So much that Pearl was done. He summoned his mini-shield and gripped a small item that slightly poked out of the shield before glaring at the opponent.
"Hey!" They turned as he stepped forward. The boy chuckled as his feet were encased in rocks.
"Oh look! The shrimp-"
He wasn't able to finish before the winds got violent. The Dexters paused as Pearl floated up above the boy.
"Last straw, Confura. Get up here and fight me like the manipulator that you are!"
The manipulator was quiet for a moment before the rocks on his feet glowed and he floated up to Pearl's level. A green, plant-like blade floated beside him. Pearl pulled at the item, a spear suddenly appearing in its place in his hand. Silence followed before suddenly wind and earth clashed and they vanished into the clouds. Red grinned as he called out.
"Shoot him down, Pearl! Show him who owns the skies!" A scream of pain answered as Blake sighed.
"Why do you do that?"
"It gives him a reason to do that. Let's get going before his opponent accidentally hits us."

[Finally Treaty]
Blake was shaking as he entered the Unova Human Base. He had just been released from a vicious fight that almost resulted in his death. He was deathly pale as he grabbed his phone and called someone. A card appeared in his free hand as he opened the door to his separate area. He closed the door as the person answered.
"Hello?"
"Looker."
"Blake... You made it..."
"Sounds like you did too..."
"Ha. So we're on the same book..." Blake smiled as he sat down.
"I guess so..."
"Listen... I think... it's time."
Silence followed as Blake looked at the wall. He knew what that meant. He pulled out his laptop and glanced at the screen he had been up on for a little while.
"Do we risk it?"
"Blake, I've seen your draft. I think we can do this. Besides... we need to do this or else this war is about to get bloodier." Blake gulped.
"Then I'll meet up with you."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blake smiled at the video Looker sent at the end of the week. It was accepted. He grabbed his phone, the smile not moving from his face, and called White.
"What...?"
"I did it."
"Did what...?"
"I got an acceptable treaty." That had grabbed her attention.
"Wait really?"
"I just made one with Looker and Black. Looker just sent me a video showing we have the whole IP supporting it. Black had already sent me support from the main leaders of the Dragonfolk, Winglies and Werebeasts. I had gained the humans' support recently. We are about to put this war on standby." A loud noise escaped the phone.
"OMA YES! Excellent job, Blake! Should I announce it to the region?"
"Yes! The Unova-Police War has been put onto standby!"
[Orenji-Injigo Truth]
Purple gulped as he looked at the incoming group of Dexters. They were trying to talk to him about something, something he had done in Aloje. He really wasn't in the mood. Noivila held a steady distance as the group of Aloje Dexters and four seniors tried to catch up to him. Tears rolled down his face as he urged Noivila to pick up speed.
"Purple!"
He didn't even glance back. He didn't want to face them. Not even for a second. Noivila tilted to the side briefly, giving him a plan in perfect silence. He took a moment to process it before he gulped.
"Go."
The delta let a screech out before it did a full spin, forcing Purple to fall off as it turned upside down. It returned to an upright position before turning to the group that was chasing them. Another screech escaped it as it flapped its wings. Leaves and shards of metal escaped into the powerful blasts of winds that raced at the Dexters. Red was able to get a barrier up as it hit the group. Noivila used that to stop and shoot down below the clouds. It successfully caught Purple and raced out of the Oblivia Sector before Red could hear their retreat. Purple didn't realize how fast it was going until the wind finally stopped. He trembled before he opened his eyes. The sight of Fiore's Fall City brought a smile to his face.
"Thanks Noivila... you did great..."
It nodded as he returned the delta. He looked around before he had to grab a nearby wall. The whole event must've pulled a lot of his strength from him. He sent out his Delta Venusaur and it smiled at him.
"Vena... can you help me out..."
It paused before it wrapped its ribbons around his waist and placed him on its back. He giggled as it slowly made its way through the large city. His whole mind drifted as it headed to their destination. He hadn't realized how lost he was until Vena's ribbon pulled him from his daze. He noticed where they were and blinked.
"Oh..." He smiled at the delta. "Thank you..." He returned it before knocking on the door. He paused before the door opened. A familiar face appeared.
"Look who showed up..." Purple looked up and met Garrett's eye.
"Garrett..." The musician smiled before helping him in.
"You look like you just ran from war. Relax before we get started. The others are still arriving." Purple smiled as he sat down.
"Thanks for this..."
"Anything for the person that helped save Aloje. You need it. Especially since you were part of the Runts." Purple smiled as he relaxed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
His face was a beating red as the other giggled. He had fallen asleep while waiting and they had caught him in the act. He was still waking himself up fully as they finished setting up.
"How long-" He panted weakly as he sat up. "Damn it..." He paused as he glanced at the table in the middle of the room. Garrett held out a notebook. Purple smiled and took it from him.
"Come on. We're about to start." Purple smiled as he gently brought himself to the table.
"Thanks for keeping this going, guys..." Garrett nodded as the group got settled down.
"Of course. The Orenji-Injigo tradition is pretty interesting. Why let it die?" Purple nodded as he glanced at his notebook.
"Yeah... the whole thing... from way back then... to now..."
He looked around the room. Admiral, Heath, Ruby, Garrett, Taen, and Cedar rested around the table before he glanced at his phone, that was being turned off by Shandowa. A grin crossed his face before he stretched lightly.
"Well... shall we start?"
(Let me know if you need anything else.)
