[Kithicor True Darkness]

Crepe chuckled as he slipped behind Kincaid, who was going on monologue #4. He was still wondering if anyone had told the blonde how much he hated monologues. Lectures were ok because there was meaning and sometimes more to it. But a monologue was the worse thing he could've ever learned of. Which is probably why he failed that assignment. He got directly behind the enemy as he was finishing up the monologue. It was about time-

"We're not going to let you win, Kincaid."

Crepe held back a groan. At least his entrance would be clean. Just as the blonde leader was about to start up monologue #5, his knife appeared in his hand and he stabbed his upper back. Instead of words, a choked scream escaped him. Crepe's mind was clouded by insanity as he twisted the knife and sliced upward, the cut going into the skull. The Dexters, who were facing the front of the blonde, froze at the reaction before Kincaid collapsed and revealed the murderer to them. He blew on the blade, removing the blood that stained it.

"Well..." He felt the stare of the others as he put his knife away in his jacket. "That could've been a lot messier. Guess I have to clean this up."

A yelp cut through his thoughts as he looked up. Cedar had surprisingly hidden behind Green, trying hard to not be too perverted about his actions while not looking at Crepe.

"I don't care if you hate me or not! Keep that psychopath away from me!"

Crepe rolled his eyes before stomping the ground, activating a cleaning spell before approaching the group. Cedar noticed his advance before yelping and teleporting, clearing himself from being the next target. Crepe sighed. That'll be annoying.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Marcus chuckled as him, Crepe and Arctic neared a group of criminals. Green's voice rang in the air, forcing them to stay low as they got behind the group.
"Please let us through."
"Make us."
Bad timing on their part. Crepe pulled his knife out and stabbed the speaker's back. Marcus and Arctic followed his lead as they made quite a mess in the alleyway. They hid as the seniors focused on the scene, a scream letting their reaction be known. Crepe grinned as they slipped away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Wow...."

Cedar's face was pale as he led the seniors to where Lapis, Sage, Crepe and Midnight were with some others; consisting of Elita, Chris, Tiffany, Clyde, Garret, Marcus, Billy, Ice, Sven, Arctic, and Joel. They were circling Crepe with a laptop while Sven seemed to be keeping an eye out for something. Or... seemed to be keeping an eye out for something.

"Holy shit, Arctic. You really did say 'Those points are mine' in a violent way."

"Crepe, you should pull up Lapis's from last week."

"Oh hell yes. One moment."

"Hey, I did good back then. That should be starred."

"Isn't that the four v one?"

"Yep."

"Ok... here it is."

The group went quiet as they watched the screen. The laptop never made any noise, but Marcus grabbed his mouth towards the end.

"Ok.... Violent!" Lapis chuckled.

"The guy threatened me." Sage grinned.

"What makes this funnier is that he walked away missing something."

"Sage, he didn't walk away. I can understand if he crawled away, but walked? No."

"He is on the ground here."

"You guys are disgusting."

The group looked over as Cedar trembled. It took them a minute before Crepe groaned.

"Your point?"

"Get a room." Midnight lost it as the caster walked away, leaving the seniors with the insane group.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lapis smiled darkly as he pinned Maple down. The other Waves were getting up as a cold flash filled Lapis's eyes as they turned red. Midnight grinned before Lapis let a dark growl loose, making Maple freeze in fear.
"You... sir... are already a dead man. What a shame... you didn't even get to the good part."
Green's reaction to his actions were the best yet. In summary, he ripped his head off with his bare hands. Porcelain hid his face in Ruby's chest while Silver stayed in between the other Waves and the crime scene, acting as a barrier. Lapis scoffed as he stood up while Midnight went over with a towel.
"While you're calming down, clean yourself up or you might as well tell Cedar you murdered an army." Lapis eyed the towel with yellow eyes before gently taking it. Midnight smiled as the bluenette turned away before going over to the others, who were staring in fear. "Is everyone ok?"
"Are you insane!?" Porcelain's scream was muffled by his grip on Ruby. Midnight was quiet as Lapis went to Midnight's side and gave him the messy towel. His eyes were a unique green as Midnight turned to him with a sigh.
"You did it again." Lapis didn't answer as Green let a light scream out.
"A-again?!"
"It happens."
He then walked away with Lapis not far behind him. Porcelain didn't move as Admiral went after them. Ruby picked the smaller boy up as he frowned.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"And then we finish it up by wiping out that whole area. I think just between Elita and Sven that place is done."

"Garret should also have a chance to help."

"Of course."

Porcelain gulped as he translated the meeting that Emerald had hacked into. They were completely invisible while the others were talking like they didn't have guests. And since they decided English was unnecessary, Porcelain decided to help with translations.

"So when do we go? I mean, we have to avoid anyone that tries to stop us." Lapis hummed at Crepe's words.

"Tonight. It'll already be a full moon, so Dijon won't have energy to keep up. If we go directly at midnight, our only problem will be Cedar. But let's be honest. How hard is it to deal with him?" Sven scoffed.

"Just don't get shocked and you're good."

"Then we go tonight and we rip this place up like Lapis rips heads off of people. See you guys then."

The call turned off as Porcelain trembled and finished with the translations. The rest of the room was quiet before Cedar hummed, somehow gaining the younger Wave's attention as he subconsciously raced over to him and buried his head in the caster's shirt. They let the room go quiet, pondering how to go about this.

[Dangers of Aloje]

Scarlet let a smile cross her face as a group of Earthbenders circled her. Blue gulped as him and the other Flames attempted to reach her. Sapphire was the only on with an advantage with water powers. But it still was impossible no matter how hot they burned. Scarlet was another story.

The Flame had let a flame fill her hand, creating a phoenix that hummed deep in thought. A wicked smile coated her face as she eyed the group prepared to throw a huge boulder at her. She didn't seem to mind that she is probably going to die. In fact, she didn't seem to fazed that a boulder was about to cremate her. Blue gulped before calling out.

"Scarlet! Get out of the way!"

She glanced back just as the boulder was thrown. A scream escaped Banana as Scarlet let a grin take over before throwing the phoenix at the boulder. Blue froze. Was she stupid? Rock defeats fire!

Apparently not in this case.

The phoenix screeched before encasing the boulder as Scarlet shouted.

"ROCK LEVEL FLAMES!"

Blue actually felt the temperature skyrocket as the flames got hotter. It actually got to the point that the boulder was disappearing. It took a minute before it vanished and the flames raced back to Scarlet. The whole area stared as she huffed.

"I think you need to find something stronger. Because I've burned larger pieces of rock. That was just a warmup."

The others stared as the Earthbenders retreated. She went over and stretched her arms over her head.

"I'm starving... food's on me."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seafoam growled as Admiral put up a barrier and blocked the Operator's subconscious attack upon her, Midnight and Parchment.
"Seafee! Stop! Know your surroundings!"
Seafoam stiffened as her normal golden hazel eyes were drowned by pure black ones. Everything became twisted for the blonde as an internal voice tried to regain control.
"Stop!"
A laugh filled her mind, overwhelming the smaller voice before Seafoam, with no pausing, let loose a series of attacks upon the barrier. Admiral bit her lip as she held her ground. A sharp yelp escaped Seafoam as a shock hit her back and she collapsed. Admiral barely caught her before looking for at the source. Cedar stood at the door to the break room with a sigh. He then walked away as Seafoam unconsciously hugged the sea ranger.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Porcelain sighed as him and a few others watched Scarlet and Seafoam talk to the concerned seniors about things. Admiral watched the conversation while Dijon looked over his sword, and Parchment talked to some other rangers that were with them. They were supposed to be planning a counter attack upon the Kithicor Origin group after their successful attack upon one of their bases. But with the seniors right there? Ugh...

"Seafee!"

The group snapped up as Scarlet held the practically possessed Operator from attacking Midnight, who had hidden behind Lapis upon instinct. Admiral cursed under her breath as the two Ringtown Top Rangers kept peace between the two Dexters. Sage finally saved the day by sending enough of a wind attack to knock Seafoam out without causing too much harm to the Operator. Scarlet carried her over to Admiral and gulped.

"I'll deal with the seniors. Start the meeting."

She then ran over as Cedar joined the seniors in checking the small ranger, who had shut down after the failed attack. Admiral gulped at that.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Scarlet grinned as she eyed a forest. Seafoam, Porcelain, Rand, and Wendy stood at her side as she looked at them.
"We ready?"
"Only if you are." Wendy spoke quietly.
Seafoam's eyes had already darkened while Rand had lost touch with reality. Porcelain nodded as a dark mist circled him while Wendy's hair was practically flying behind her. Scarlet smiled as she glowed with a red aura.
"Then let's do this!"
***
[The Duo that take the Pain.]
Admiral bit her lip as Seafoam, in a possessed-like state, attacked the barrier Admiral was weakly holding up. Parchment was lightly hugging Midnight behind Admiral as he unconsciously recovered from Seafoam nearly taking him out. Static filled the air before a bolt of lightning hit Seafoam's back, bringing her from the daze before she blacked out. Admiral took a knee before tiredly looking over at their savior. Cedar, who had sent the attack, was already walking away, clearing himself from the scene.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Cedar wrapped a blanket around Linda as she looked at a picture. Tears stained Linda's cheeks as her eyes wanders over the picture that showed a proud looking forest with three large structures. It looked gorgeous while having a sense of old age grasping it. Cedar sat down near her as she sighed.

"What did do to deserve the damage that it got?" Cedar shook his head.

"I'm not sure. But at least none of the Hunt hit it. I would've snapped if that was the case..." Linda gulped.

"But still... it doesn't deserve this treatment..." Cedar pulled her into a hug working to calm her down. It sorta worked. At least she made a remark. "Ok- no- get off me." The Covenant giggled before returning to his original positions. A pause followed before Cedar spoke.

"Do... you think we'll ever regain it?" Linda glanced at him as tears stained his face. "I-i-i-i mean... i-it's our h-h-home..." Linda gulped before placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I hope so... because right now the Night 5 have no HQ... and much more..."

She noticed how distant Cedar had gotten before pulling him into a hug. He trembled as he cried into her shoulder. The Operator shifted the blanket to cover the two of them before they rested, letting the calm environment relax their tension.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Cedar tiredly sat in the break room, listening to the arguments that ran through the air. He felt trapped inside thanks to those arguments. He spotted the seniors as they eyed the arguments and approached him.
"What's their problem?"
Cedar didn't respond as he put his head down on the table. Something flew over his head, missing after his head went down. Green looked over as Lapis hissed. Green frowned before sitting next to him, hearing his soft breathing as he rested on the table.
"Cedar?" He hummed as he slightly looked at her. "Is there somewhere quiet we can go to talk?" He nodded silently as he slowly stood up and led them to his room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He let them in as a shout hit the air, something about Altru. He closed the door and silence escaped the door. Yellow sighed.

"Thank Arceus... silence at last." The others giggled as Cedar went over to the closet.

"Does anyone want a stool?"

Green hesitantly nodded while the others shook their heads. Cedar hummed as he got a stool out of the closet and placed it near her before sitting down at the desk near the door. Yellow took the time to scan the room, beings that it was her first time being in the Covenant's room, before Red spoke and Green got comfortable.

"So what's going on with the others?" Cedar sighed as he shuffled through the desk he was at.

"A war. Monsters vs Murderers." Green paused as he pulled out a folder. He pulled out a paper from it before passing it to Green for them to see. "This is the notes I have of it. I don't have everything because I'm just sitting on the sidelines." He put his head down before knock hit the door and Linda poked her head in.

"Sorry for interrupting, but Cedar, do you have something I can use to deal with the current battle between Marcus and Seafoam? I can't use the patrol card." Cedar purred before going to the other side of the room.

"Physical or verbal?"

"Verbal please." He hummed before pulling a book from one of his bookshelves and went back over. He flipped to a certain page while the seniors looked over the paper.

"That should help..." She silently thanked him before going out and he let the book float back to its place before sitting back at the front desk. Green hummed before giving it back.

"It doesn't seem believable..." Cedar gulped as a soft, choked voice escaped him as he put the paper away and lowered his head.

"They destroyed a forest just to have a battleground for their more violent battles." Green's eyes flashed dangerously as the others tensed. He didn't face them until Green spoke.

"What forest?"

He caught a slightly threatening tone as it joined the question. He reached into his jacket for the card that had the flashback of the destruction and the picture of its former glory. He passed the picture over first as he recollected his composure.

"That... was the original. It wasn't like that when it was destroyed, but that's what it's supposed to look like. It's called Whimsical Elderberry Wilds and it housed the Luuwroll and the Cavern." Green froze before he lightly casted the flashback card and showed them. "And this is what happened to it..."

Yellow gently took the spell as they watched while he grabbed a pillow from his bed and hid his face in it back, letting the tears fall. He tried to keep any noises down until a calm hand combed through his hair. He pulled his head out as the card was placed on the desk and Yellow pulled him into a hug. He immediately broke into a sobbing mess as the boys helped calm him down. Green watched from afar, her ears gracefully catching the soft words that escaped him while her mind sorted through them and formed sentences.

"It... it isn't fair... me... Linda... that was... it was our home... and... and now there's nothing left... for us to return to... and yet... no... no matter what happens... we have face the battles that hold our homes... under destruction... all the time..."

She could hear the pain just from that. She whispered to Blue that she was going to tackle a few problems before slipping out.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Green revisited the caster after learning about the attack upon him. She gently knocked on the door before Linda let her in. Cedar was resting on the bed with a rather large teddy bear in his grip. Linda looked like she had finished treating him as she was now relaxing.
"How is he?" Linda gulped.
"Better than before. I almost couldn't get him to sleep if I didn't get his teddy bear. He's still recovering from the meltdown he had. So be careful..." She nodded before pausing.
"Before you go..." She paused her retreat from the room. "I was wondering if I could talk to you before I leave... so when I'm done here can we talk somewhere in private?" Linda nodded.
"Yeah. My room is next to Seafoam's, which has Admiral on the other side. We can meet there." Green thanked her before letting her leave and sitting next to the caster. He must've sensed her as he shifted before opening his eyes, meeting her gaze.
"Senior Green..." He paused before tightening his grip on the bear and shifting a little to get a better position. "Is there something you need?" She did her best to not tense up. He sounded hurt and his weak gaze wasn't helping. She smiled softly as she ran a hand through his hair.
"I came check on you and talk to about something that involves you. Yellow's busy with another Triad War, so I came instead." Cedar nodded softly as he snuggled against the bear. She pulled out a notebook and smiled. "Now... I just have a few questions..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Green giggled as she and the other Waves (Kanto to Sharea) finished reviving the forest to the original form it was in. The plan was simple: Platinum kept the two groups out; Green, Ruby, Blake, Scrappy, Hickory, Forest and Y revived the forest itself; Bone and Cream were rebuilding the Luuwroll; Silver revived the Cavern. All of them were done in order listened. Blake had to grab Silver while Arctic and Dijon retreated early, leaving the rest of the groups to be targeted by Green's rage.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Scarlet growled as she eyed Green and Cedar talking. Seafoam and Rand stood by her while Dijon and Porcelain sat nearby. Dijon was more focused on something in his hand than the conversation before Scarlet spoke.
"She's taunting us."
"We should target her." Rand quickly commented.
"Bad idea." Seafoam remarked. "She'll tear us apart like before."
"In that case, let's go for the forest-" Scarlet started.
"No."
The group turned to Dijon, who hadn't moved from his spot. He had lowered his head, covering his face with his hair. He didn't look up as Scarlet spoke.
"I'm sorry?"
"I said..." His voice barely touched the air as he looked up, his red eyes flashing dangerously. "No."
No one could speak as he stood up and left the group.
Meanwhile, Green, with Blake's help, showed Cedar and Linda the final results of the restoration. Tears stained Cedar's face as the Operator thanked her before having to split up a fight nearby. Green hummed before pulling the Covenant into a hug to calm him down.
"You're welcome, Cedar..." He trembled as she pulled him to his feet. "Let's go get your teddy bear... come on..."
He stayed quiet as he followed her to his room. He was still dazed before he felt the bear entered his hands. He couldn't contain his excitement as he squeezed the bear and sat down with it. Green giggled as she pulled at the bear, grabbing his attention before he pulled away. The senior purred at the Covenant's actions.
"You're so cute..." She teased his cheeks, gaining a soft giggle from the junior. She helped him onto the bed and smiled. "Now come on. I want to do a little bit of bonding with you."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Red put up a barrier just as a collision of attacks almost murder the four. Cedar sent a shock at the monster group, quickly knocking them out before they did more damage. He huffed as Linda got behind the Murderers. A deep breath escaped her before she let an aura circle her and started letting her magic flow. Within seconds, the other group was knocked out. She huffed as Cedar ran over.

"Yay!"

The trio hugged as Green smiled. It always secretly brought her joy to see the caster's smile. She nodded to the others as they went to take off.

***

[What You Think You See vs What You Should See.]

Cedar was the first to scream. It shocked a lot of people, but solved the lost problem.

They were trying to find something in a practical maze. We're still not sure who's brilliant idea it was to split up, but here we are. Blue thankfully found what they were looking for before a high pitched scream hit the air, alerting the group. Red frowned as he and a few other regrouped. He didn't recognize the scream. That's because they discovered that the person doesn't normally scream. When they found the source of the noise, everyone froze.

Cedar was trembling on the ground as Lapis ripped another guardsman's head off with his bare hands. There was five other bodies on the ground, their deaths clearly obvious. Cedar must've sensed the others cause he scrambled to his feet and got behind Yellow. Tears stained his cheeks as he spoke in a soft tone.

"Tell me when he's done-"

Yellow instantly hugged him and started calming him down as Lapis let a surprising snarl out before he ripped apart another group of guards. Green went to call out when Midnight stopped her upon seeing something.

"No wort it." Lapis hissed as another group of guards turned into corpses. "Wait till bet."

She frowned as Cedar let loose another scream when one of Lapis's strikes caused a body to fly over them. Green finally went to his side before rubbing his back. Midnight finally moved after a few minutes of watching. His hand glowed a pinkish color as he casted.

"FALLEN CORPSES!"

The light, upon him aiming his hand like a gun and firing, raced forward and hitting the remainder of the guards, in which made them collapse and brought Lapis to a full stop. Cedar let another scream out as Green gulped.

"Did you just kill them!?"

"No... but don't tell Lapis that." He then called out as the confusion set in. "Lapis! I got them. Calm!" The bluenette purred as he scanned the area. His normal blue eyes were fading from a red color heading for yellow... or green. He then gave Midnight a questioning look as the smaller boy grabbed his arm and pulled him from the scene. "Let's go..." Cedar wouldn't move as Midnight pulled him out of the maze. Green frowned at that.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They had to wait until Lapis's eyes had gone back to their natural blue before they could talk to him. And even then he was confused.
"I did what?"
Midnight chuckled at Green's priceless reaction to the bluenette's words. He blinked before he spoke.
"I remember everything up to the maze... and then everything is blurry..." Midnight went over and touched his shoulder, causing him to jerk in shock.
"That... my friend... would be because you did it again." He walked away as Green frowned.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Cedar gulped as his back touched a wall. Everything was spinning as Lapis neared him.

"L-lapis...? L-listen... we can talk about t-this... p-please?"

Lapis didn't respond as his eyes, which were currently a blood red, burned into the covenant's brown ones. He shrank down the wall before Lapis suddenly grabbed his neck and held him up against the wall. Cedar instinctively tried to push him off as his air went thin.

"L-lapis-" He choked out as everything started going dark. This wasn't happening... right? He almost blacked out before Lapis heard something and dropped him. The poor Covenant was instantly gasping for air before he Lapis grabbed the back of his shirt and throwing him into the nearest building. The throw was strong enough to break through the wall and have him landing in the middle of the room. Cedar couldn't move before hit the ground in front of the door, causing the building to collapse on him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Lapis? Cedar?"
Green and Midnight were looking for the two older Aloje Dexter since they had vanished. Not a lot of noise filled the air before Midnight stopped.
"What was that?"
"Huh?"
"It sounded like a building collapsed..."
She closed her eyes before panicking and racing to where the scene was. Lapis turned to them slightly, his red eyes flashing violently. Midnight grabbed Green's arm before she charged forward and gently called out.
"Lapis... there's no enemies here. Relax."
Lapis growled a little before a faint noise escaped the collapsed the building. Midnight cautiously stepped forward, his hand glowing the strange pinkish color as he paused. He then suddenly appeared behind Lapis and pressed the light against Lapis's head. His eyes went blank for a moment before they went back to the red before fading into yellow. He then sat down before Green ran over to the collapsed building, her wand appearing in her hand as she casted. A green light hit the air before the rubble moved. The faint noise reappeared as Green floated down and pulled the caster into a hug. His faded eyes had a soft joy cross them before a weak, happy noise filled the air.
"C'mon..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Green was going to chop someone's head off.

"What?"

Lapis, who had gotten out of the daze and his eyes had gone back to blue, looked so confused as Sage and the other Kithicor Origin members spoke to him off to the side. Cedar was resting in the infirmary as Linda stayed with him. No one was communicating with the Wave Senior since the Kithicor group was keeping it down to whispering and the other group had went elsewhere to talk. She eventually went to where Cedar was as he got to a comfy position. He smile at her arrival.

"Hey Senior Green..." She nodded as Midnight's laughter came from somewhere. She growled before she smiled at him.

"Do you know what happened?" He shook his head.

"All I know is that the area changed... I was waiting for someone... I don't remember who... then Lapis showed up and tried to kill me. I have no idea why... or what was happening..." He coughed a little bit before he paused. "His eyes.... they were red for some reason..."

"Why's that confusing?"

"Scarlet had the red eyes. So does Dijon. Lapis has blue eyes like Admiral does. It's how we tell certain people apart. Most of the Waves have blue or dark eyes, Flames have red eyes, Blades have green or hazel of sort eyes, meanwhile Triad Wars have shifting eyes. So when I saw those red eyes one Lapis, I got confused." Green hummed at that before he coughed again. "Why does this always happen..."

"Huh?"

"The... veil..." Linda sighed.

"Who knows Cedar...." Green frowned.

"What... veil?" Linda motioned her to the door before they slightly went out and she pointed to something.  Lapis and Scarlet had clashed about something while the others were taking sides.

"What do you see? A friendly argument, right?" Green nodded. "No. See, that's part of the veil. You are made to see one thing, but then you realize it's nothing like you thought. From day one of the rangers to now, they haven't changed at all. Me and Cedar are the only two not behind it. We're not falling to the veil." She smiled. How about... until they clean up, I go get snacks and you guys stay here?"
