Lunick looked at the sea that tumbled against the boat, which calmed him as the boat docked. He got off with the other passengers before looking around. His ears locked onto a conversation, no doubt about him.

"Mama, look! Why's his mouth like that?"

"Don't do that! It's very rude to do that."

He turned away from the duo, tears forming in his eyes as he covered the mask that trapped his mouth. He managed to get some distance before hiding from view. He didn't move until a voice touched his ear.

"Are you ok?"

He looked up and latched onto the green eyes that almost glowed in their spot. It took a sec before Lunick nodded, wiping the tears away. He stood up as the owner of the eyes continued.

"Oh... good! I was worried when I heard the tears. You're Lunick, right?"

He nodded again as he scanned the person, noting their hair matched their eyes and they stood taller than him.

"Name's Spenser. I'll be your captain. Why don't you come with me?"

Lunick nodded as they went north from the harbor.

"You know... your letters made you sound like a a jokester. Never thought you'd be silent."

Lunick didn't answer, keeping his gaze to the ground. He did make many jokes and puns in his letters. But that's because he used to be the voice of him and his brother. That changed when their father started his damage. Remembering the pain almost had him caught up in the memories. Spenser caught his lack of motions upon some of his questions and paused, regaining the silent boy.

"You good?"

Lunick nodded as he rubbing his face, double checking for tears. Spenser eyed him as he nodded, gesturing him forward. As they continued, Spenser spoke.

"Is everything alright? You completely dazed off there."

Lunick waved it off. He didn't want to go back into the past right now. He escaped that already. Spenser watched him as they arrived at the town.

"Well... here we are. Let's go meet the others."

~

Lunick didn't need a voice as he hugged Billy close. He had sent Solana and Aria to go track down the other 3 since they were trapped in the old base. Billy wouldn't enter the base after Elita's voice came screaming out at the Boss/Father of the four musicians. Spenser had went to get her to quiet down while Lunick calmed the older musician down. Spenser's voice touched their ears as the loud sounds went quiet.

"It's safe now. Joel took him south and Elita's quiet." Lunick nodded to him as he helped Billy to his feet. Billy trembled a little upon the motion before they helped him inside. Elita saw him before she smiled.

"You alright, Billy?" He nodded as he leaned against Lunick for support. Chris went over and took Billy's hands.

"How about some food?" Billy looked up at him, a wave of confusion covering his face. "Come on..." As he took him to the side for food, Solana guided the other three into the base. Aria was holding the boys up while Solana had allowed Tiffany to keep a hold of her arm. Billy paused as the duo got the trio to rest against a wall.

"They're ok, but they need food and some time to recover." Chris smiled as Billy got to their side, pulling Tiffany into a hug.

"Then let's get them some food and go from there." Lunick felt his mind smile as he went over to the siblings as they got into a group hug.

Kellyn gulped as he kept a soft grip on Kelly, who was gently guiding him to the school. He was nervous to say the least, but he wouldn't leave this out of his reach. He felt Kelly tug his arm, halting him before she pressed signs against his hand.

'Papa, Ms. April is here. She's going to be your teacher and help you through school.' He managed to smiled before Kelly guided his hand to shake the teacher's hand. It was easy to get used to the feel before she pulled away and Kelly pressed more signs into his hand. 'She's going in introduce us to some of the staff before we meet the classmates.' He nodded before Kelly guided him to follow the teacher.

~

Kellyn had to be shocked when two of his classmates were able to communicate with him. Kelly had started pressing signs against his hand when she was stopped and another hand pressed against his hand, starting to communicate with him.

'Hey Kellyn. My name is Keith. It's nice to meet you.' Kellyn was dazed for a minute before he pressed back, confused about the situation.

'You know how to sign against the hand?' Keith had to be giggling at his question with the brief silence before he pressed back

'Yep. I learned to help other Deaf people.'

A little later, another student did the same thing when Kelly was wounded. Kellyn did his best to calm her down before someone joined them. Something pressed against his hand, gaining his attention.

'Kellyn? Do you need help taking her to Janice?' He nodded before he was helped to his feet and guided somewhere. He found the person's hand, unable to identify it.

'Who are you? And how to you know SAH?' They pressed back after a moment.

'Kate. And I learned because of some distant relatives.'

He paused before he was sat down.

~

He blinked a little as he felt the bandages that covered his eyes leave his face. He still couldn't see anything. He felt around before Kelly's hand touched his.

'Easy, Papa. She's still getting there.' Kellyn trembled as the lady that had said she would fix his sight had him close his eyes.

Later, he was shaken awake. It was weird, but when he opened his eyes, he discovered his sight had finally returned. He blinked a little as someone sat down. He still couldn't hear anything, but that didn't stop the person that had woken him up as they pressed signs against his hand.

'Papa?' He turned, now able to see, saw that Kelly was sitting beside him. It took him a bit to understand who he was seeing before he brought her into his arms. He pressed a kiss against her head before he pressed signs against her hand.

'Kelly, it's good to finally see you.' She seemed to bounce in his arms before she pressed back.

'So you can see! I'm glad!' He smiled before someone joined them. He looked up to see a redhead with matching red eyes. Kelly seemed to notice his pause as she said something to the redhead. They had a small exchange before the redhead sat down across from him and took his hand.

'How are you feeling, Kellyn?' He took a second before he recognized the hand. He then pressed back.

'Better. I just need to get used to being able to see. Though, I don't think I'm ready to upgrade from this type of communication.' The redhead, who he had identified as Keith from his hand, smiled at him.

'Well, good news, neither does Wendy. She'll be glad because she's not ready either.' Kellyn gave a small smile before Keith paused. 'Do you want to go get to know the others again now that you can see?'

Kellyn paused before he nodded. Kelly moved as Keith helped him to his feet. He then took a second as Keith let go, letting him get used to walking without a guide since he could now see. Kelly grabbed his hand to press against it.

'You got this, Papa. I'll stay by your side in case.'

He smiled as she let go, letting him get used to movements again. Keith went to his other side as they went towards the stairs to head up. He had to grab Kelly's hand after they got up the stairs, nervousness striking him down. She smiled at him before she gently pulled him over to the others.

Summer gulped as she kept a grip on her twin, Ben's, hand. She was nervous as she had never tried to do anything as dangerous as she was about to do with the off chance that she would have to solo. Ben, on the other hand, was a lot braver than her and was excited about this. He guided her to the school before a voice called out.

"Hey!" Summer tugged on the grip, getting Ben to stop before someone went over. "You guys here for the Rangers?"

"Uh... yeah. My name's Summer. This is my twin, Ben." Ben must've been watching their lips to know what was happening.

"Clare! This is Peter and James!" Ben let go of her hand before she frowned. He was doing it again. Clearly they waited for her to shake their hands before she sighed.

"Ben-" A noise quickly escaped before he grabbed her wrist and guided her hand to shake the others'. There was a brief giggle before Clare's voice returned.

"So... you're blind, Summer?"

"Yeah. And Ben here's deaf." She felt him lightly punch her. Oh well. "Oh, relax you. At least you're not stuck with Dad." He was totally glaring at her. She heard a soft sigh before a male voice spoke.

"Are you two sure your twins?" She chuckled.

"Only a stupid person would think otherwise. Is there anywhere we can sit? Because unless I'm moving, I'll collapse."

~

She thought she was hearing things.

She heard Purple Eyes's evil laughter followed by Nema's scream and Rand's shout. Nema was now trembling in the blind girl's arms as Purple Eyes's footsteps got louder. Then a voice she didn't recognize touched the air.

"Get away from them. Now." Another set of footsteps filled the air as Summer paused. Who was that? Her mind went blank the voice cut the villain off. "No. You don't get a say here. You've had your chance. My turn." Lightning filled the air as Nema gulped.

"Who...?"

"I... don't know..."

She should recognize this voice. But her mind was blank. Mewtwo's cry filled the air as a styler gave a sound, marking a capture complete. But who- She finally learned who it was. Hearing Ho-oh's cry fill the air before she let a tear form. There was only one person that could've asked for lightning, captured Mewtwo and summoned Ho-oh, whose voice was a mystery and unrecognizable to her, and the only one who would be brave enough to take on a powerful legendary that was about to harm their friends.

"Ben..." Arms wrapped around her as a soft voice touched her ears.

"Shh..." She teared up as he pressed a soft kiss on her head. "Safety... Let's go to safety..."

Calem trembled as he rested in his father's arms, trying to regain strength from what happened. His mother was in front of the two in a protective stance. His Father's Charizard and Mother's Gardevoir, both Mega and lightly damaged, eyed Lysandre as he chuckled.

"Oh, so brutal. I've done nothing." Calem trembled as Sycamore hissed.

"You destroyed him!"

"Can't be less than what you did." Diantha growled.

"You didn't give him a life! You destroyed it!"

"Oh no! What will you do about it?" Diantha went to shout when a growl filled the air.

"Get away from them!" Lysandre's Pyroar jumped in the way of an attack, only to get slammed into a wall. They all turned as a familiar face stormed in front of the trio. "Don't act innocent! You've had your chance! Now begone!" A blur raced forward and sent the male flying. She then turned to them. "Is everyone ok?" The Professor and Champion couldn't answer before Calem managed a soft voice.

"Serena..." She noticed his condition before going to his side.

"Don't strain yourself. Relax and be patient. We'll get you to safety soon." He nodded as he purred against her hand. She looked at the Professor. "Get him to safety. I'll see you guys after I take him down." She then smiled as Calem fell asleep against her hand. "Rest..." She then pulled away and turned to Lysandre, who growled a little. An Aura encased her as she hissed. "You're turn!"

(Family Reunion 1)

Lucas paused as the boat docked and they got off. He took his time as he got off, still getting used to his Prosthetic Limbs. He stumbled a little, Barry catching him before he hit the ground. Lucas gulped.

"Thanks..."

"No problem." Dawn smiled as Johanna joined them.

"We're almost there. Come on."

~

The four arrived as two people clashed, gaining a yelp someone to the side.

"Solana! Spenser! Split it up!" They growled a bit as the four went over and someone split them up. Lucas froze upon seeing his brother as he pried them apart. His mouth, which shockingly had no boundaries, moved as he struggled to keep them apart.

"Leave it you two! Why don't you do something more important, like actual Ranger work?!" Lucas glanced at his mother, who had fallen silent at the sound of her son's voice. The duo finally pulled apart, getting them onto helping the townsfolk. A brown haired male went over as Lunick rested by the base door.

"All good?"

"No. Not until after I discover how to keep them apart." The male waved at the group while Lunick was unaware.

"Will you take my advise?"

"Your 'advise' is tying one up and make the other work for it. So no, Murph, I will not." The group giggled at Lunick's rejection before Dawn went over.

"Sorry to intrude on your plotting, but may we talk?" Lunick gave a soft noise before he stood up from his spot, stretching out his soreness.

"Sure..." He turned to them before he noticed the duo that had kind of frozen up from hearing his voice. He paused before he went over and the other three smiled. "Mom...? Lucas...?" Lucas reacted first by pulling him into a hug.

"You're ok!" Lunick purred as he hugged back. "And you've taken the mask off! It's good to hear you."

"Noticed you finally started moving around..." Lunick muttered as he gently kissed his head. "It's nice to not have to pick you up to hug you."

"You would do it regardless." Lunick took that as a personal challenge as he lifted the smaller boy up, getting a gasp of surprise from him. Johanna finally joined them, giggling as Lucas put in his complaint. Dawn smiled as Lucas looked for an escape from the Ranger.

"There it is. Seeing that magic just work..." Murph nodded as Lucas targeted his hair, which got him to release him. Dawn smiled.

"I think now they'll be a little happier knowing their freedom..."

(Family Reunion 2)

Ben smiled as Summer groaned. She had attempted a mission on her own but nearly lost her life. And she wondered why Rand was yelling.

Nema, on the other hand, smiled at the letters that said her plan was in motion.

~

When you have the right people, anything is possible. Summer was completely oblivious about the fact that her siblings were there (while Ben was still recovering) as they threw jokes around to relax them. Ben finally found the strength to give his twin a hint, which finally got the needed response.

"Nate, that's rude. You shouldn't talk with your hands." It dawned on the smaller girl as Nate tilted his head. She finally spoke with a small voice.

"Wait..." May chuckled as Rand spoke.

"Nema did it." They lost it as her response.

"Dad!" May grabbed Summer's hands as a tear formed.

"We're here, Summer. It's ok." Ben got to her side as she trembled. He guided her to the couch that help the other four siblings, allowing Hilda to take her into her arms. Summer was in tears as she latched onto her sister and let the others get a group hug, one that was needed.

(Family Reunion 3)
(This isn't the official version of this)

A small boy trembled as another battle cry filled the air. He was forced to depend on the castle's defensive walls to protect him. He was the last Old Kingdom standing and it was only him left. He just wanted to be left in peace.

~

A young girl growled as her and her allies watched the army retreat. She then turned to the others as a plan formed.

"Sisters in arms! This is our chance! We shall be the first to create New Kingdom! I want you to safety and build the new kingdom of Aurora! I will go, free the poor creature and end the Old Kingdom! Understood!?"

"Yes Madame Rose!"

~

The young boy eyed his tail that he had managed to bring out to give himself something to do. He was trying to grab it in order to get some entertainment. He went at it, running in circles before he hit a wall. A soft chuckle followed his dramatic hit before a groan escaped him. He then realized that someone was there as the chuckling got quiet. That's when a voice called out to him.

"Oh dear. It seems that the tail is victorious." He glared at it. It was almost laughing at him. He then tried again, this time grabbing it with his mouth and dragging it to the center of the room. An applaud followed. "I was going to say. That tail shouldn't have won." He gave a happy noise before he let the tail disappear before he looked towards the voice. A young girl smiled before she floated down.

"Who...?" She smiled before nearing him.

"Rose. Good to see you Drake." He took a second before he recognized her and hugged her.

"Where were you!?"

"Watching you chase your tail." He pulled away to glare at her as she giggled. "Relax. I came to get you to some better."

"Huh?" She smiled at his confusion.

"I'm sure you've heard about the others' plans. Well, my allies are currently making the first New Kingdom. I want you to join me." He paused.

"Do I have to lead?"

"Only if you want to. But you can assist me." He smiled at the thought. "If that's a yes, let's go. I have a plan for this kingdom that will make the others speechless."

~~~
(A Father's Gift)
Ben's eyes glowed as he connected with a nearby Bidoof in order to eavesdrop on the others. He didn't want to, but apparently from their facial expressions, something was wrong.
"Something's not right. How could Alice say that?"
"More importantly, why? What does she know?"
Ben hummed at that.
~
Alice yelped when he pulled her behind a tree when the others were unaware. He silenced her before his sister heard them. There was a moment of silence before he spoke in a low voice.
"You will say nothing about this." Her eyes said it all as shock crossed her face from his voice. "Now, I know what you've been saying. You say anything more about it and I will be doing damage. Understood?" She nodded as he left her to recover.
~
He then used his skills to help Crawford out. Since Vientown was famous for their "Target Clear" actions. Luana and Barlow were easy to see, but Crawford stayed low until Ben picked up something from Budew.
"I can't do this, Budew. If they keep pressuring me, I might do something bad again."
Ben paused as he shuffled through his bag. He pulled out a folder before flipping to a certain part of it.
"There..."
~
Which leads us to now. Crawford's eyes were dim as Ben rubbed his back to keep him steady. The forest was on fire, but that was next. Ben's eyes were glowing as he listened to the pokemon near Vientown, staying alert for Barlow and Luana. He finally spoke, gently gaining Crawford's attention.
"Crawford... breathe and focus on something." Crawford looked at him, confusion and worry mixing into one emotion. "Focus... think about rain..."
Odd topic, but Crawford listened, letting his mind drift. A cloud coverage encased the sky before a downpour attacked the fire. Ben had made sure they were under the safety of a tree before he did this, so they were able to wait out the rain before Ben spoke into his ear.
"Crawford..." Upon Crawford's hum, the rain slowed down. "Shh... you did great." Crawford finally realized the fire had went out before he blinked.
"What...?" Ben purred.
"I'll explain when we get back. Meanwhile, just say that we put out the flames. Come on."
~
Crawford paused as Barlow and Luana went out on patrol. Ben purred before he pulled a folder out of a bag.
"Crawford." The older male blinked slightly as he sat down beside him. "All good?"
"You... can talk?"
"Selective Mutism." He then paused at the memory that caused it. "I wish not to mention it further. But here." He pulled out a paper from the folder before Crawford took it. He scanned it before he paused.
"Wait... this is..." Ben nodded.
"That's why I did that." Crawford went quiet as he scanned it. He then murmured something that only Ben could hear thanks to being able to read lips.
"I didn't think this would return... I thought I was free..." Ben grabbed his hands as he paused.
"Crawford, my Mother was put on the death penalty for what happened at the lab. My father had me hold onto these files to help those that survived get used to their skills. I can help you if you want." Crawford paused.
"I don't have to go back?"
"There's nothing to go back to. The police destroyed the lab." Crawford sighed as Ben hugged him.
~
A young reporter gulped as she was let into the Visiting Room. She had been selected to go and interview the Husband of the scientist that destroyed many lives for a story. She gulped as she sat down and waited for the man. It took sometime before he entered and sat on the other side of the glass. There was a heartbeat of silence before he took the other end of the line.
"You know... when I heard someone was coming to interview me, I never thought someone would actually be brave enough to come here. But here you are." She gulped. He wasn't scary like his wife, but he sounded drained.
"You're not a threat. You're just taking time for your assistance to the threat." He gave a weak smile before she spoke. "I just have a few questions if you don't mind."
"That's alright. And I won't be lying." He then paused. "May I at least get a name before we start? I like to remember the people I talk to so that I can remember the conversations I had with them. I do it with everyone." She smiled.
"Viviane." He smiled before she continued. "First question... what started the project?" He sighed.
"I had wanted to help the world by gifting people all over the world abilities that would aid in protecting it from darkness. My wife, who was my Girlfriend at the time, loved the idea. But I knew she was very violent to people outside our relationship, so I never updated her on my work so that she wouldn't hurt any of the people who had signed up. Well after our wedding, she started joining me to work, thus starting the horror that we all know today." Viviane hummed as she jotted it down.
"Second question... was there anyone that helped you to stop your wife?" He smiled softly.
"My children... they all were victims, but one was a big help when bringing her down... my youngest son Ben. He was Deaf... became Selectively Mute after my wife hurt him... but he freed three people that I deemed could leave from my wife's wrath. One of them had called the cops and saved everyone else. I do not know which one. But Ben was the one that did most of the work." She paused before she spoke.
"Last question... did any of your family get this treatment?" He nodded.
"Ben. After my wife tore him apart, I made the decision to have him get some of the planned skills so he could help those that were finished understand their skills. I also gave him files and equipment to help the unfinished people. He was the only one that understood what I needed. If I ever get out of here, I would want to know how he is. He's the only one to know what I know and more." She paused.
"Before I leave... do you know where your children went?" He purred.
"May... my older Blind Daughter, went to a friend of mine in Hoenn. Hilda, my older Deaf Daughter, and twins Nate and Rosa, who were Mute, went to a friend in Unova. Ben and his Blind twin, Summer, were supposed to go to someone in Kanto, but I got rumors that they became Rangers in Almia or somewhere." He paused. "Ben still keeps in touch, writing letters that tell me about what he's up to. But the others probably think I died with their mother." Viviane gulped before she spoke.
"Well... I hope you do get released. You are a kind man with a goal that had hope. Your wife did this and you fought back. I hope you get in touch with your kids and regain their love." He smiled.
"Thanks. Good luck on your story." As they split, he paused. "Ben... use the gifts I sent you well..."
~
Ben purred as he scanned the file. He had tracked down Crawford, who had area abilities. Cameron and Sven, who he had yet to meet face to face, were also in the Rangers. And that's not counting the four he traced down in Fiore and one in Oblivia and Almia. He sighed as a knock touched his door. Crawford poked his head in as Ben purred. The only way he knew Crawford was there was when a paper ball hit him in the back of the head. He turned to him as the older male gulped.
"Sorry... you didn't respond and I didn't know if you knew I was here." Ben smiled as he closed the door behind him and went over. "How's the hunt?"
"Just finished reaching out to the non-ranger members of the operation. I just need to talk to Sven and Cameron to help them learn about what happened and then get in touch with the Ranger down in Oblivia." Crawford hummed.
"And then the operation is sealed up?"
"Yep..." He smiled at the thought. "My father's gift to the world will be complete."
