(Crepe 1)
(This isn't the real one, but I wanted to do this)
Crepe literally screamed and vanished when the details were cleared with the group. The others flinched at the volume before a brief breeze marked his retreat. No one moved before Linda finally spoke.
"Who the hell screamed like that?" Dijon, who happened to be standing directly beside the brunette, finally grabbed his ear and hissed.
"Ow..." Cedar got to his side as he looked beside him. "That might've been Crepe... ow-" Admiral blinked.
"What the hell caused that out of him?" Marcus paused.
"He started shaking somewhere in the middle of the info..." Wendy stayed quiet at that.
~
Wendy knocked on the brunette's door a little while after the others went to go patrol.
"Crepe..." The door opened to the Unit as he trembled. He kept his head down before he let her in. She instantly pulled him into a hug while her foot closed the door. He trembled before she whispered into his ear. "Shh..."
"Sorry..."
"No no no..." She pulled away and wiped his face from the tears that drowned it. "This is not your fault. You freaked out. That was the past. Let me guess... Twisted vision?" He nodded softly before looking at the ground.
"It... showed me losing..." She hugged him again, this time to let him rest against her.
"Don't worry about that... You need to stay calm, though." He nodded against her shoulder as he rested against her. "Listen... if worst comes to it..."
"I'll handle it..." She nodded.
"I know..." She didn't finish as she gently tugged at his knife, which rested on his belt quietly. He paused before he nodded. "So... do you want to go for it?"
"Yeah.... Just let me calm down."
~
You would've thought Seafoam had a heart attack.
The duo creeped up to where the Lord of Time was before the others reached out.
"Voicemail, Voicemail, Wendy?"
"Wendy here. Over."
"Where are you?"
"I'm about to smack a lord. Wanna watch?" Crepe lightly banged his head on the nearby wall before scanning his Dagger.
"Wendy... what does that mean?"
"I said what I meant." Crepe peaked in and gulped, seeing the Lord of Time glaring at the doorway.
"So..." She muted herself as he continued softly. "We can't bribe him."
"Right."
"Brownies won't work?"
"You just don't want to do this."
"Fair."
"Wendy... you better not be fight Dialga all by yourself." Wendy unmuted before purring.
"You're absolutely right. I'm not." She muted and hissed. "Why isn't this done yet?"
"Give me a sec-"
"Then what do you mean?"
Wendy locked eyes with Crepe before he raced forward and she hit her timer. 60 seconds. She let her ears listen as Crepe's styler attempted the capture. The timer hit 30 when she heard the cheer and stopped it. 30 seconds. That was assuming nothing was changed.
"Wendy?" She didn't speak before she peaked around to look inside. Dialga was resting beside Crepe, who had collapsed. She ran over as he trembled. Thankfully the Time Lord didn't stop her as she got to his side.
"Crepe?"
"Ow... I landed wrong-" She smiled, glad to know he wasn't hit by anything dangerous. She nodded to Dialga before picking him up, allowing Dialga to vanish before getting Crepe to safety.
~
Dijon panicked when he found Crepe getting his leg treated.
"Ow-" Wendy chuckled as Malov tried for the third time to wrap it. It became four when he backlashed again. "Hey!" Malov growled as she tried to focus. Wendy gently spoke.
"Aw... someone doesn't like not doing his job. Maybe you should've landed correctly." He glared at her before yelping a little. Malov snarled.
"If you're not careful, I'll get your boyfriend on you." Wendy chuckled as his face went pale. Apparently the thought of Dijon seeing this was not pleasant. But apparently, that wasn't needed as the redhead's voice raced into the room.
"Crepe are you-" Crepe looked away from the door as Dijon skidded to a stop before going over. "Are you ok!?"
"Yeah-"
"He landed wrong" He finally pulled out a knife and flung it at her, missing greatly.
"My next throw will not miss." He then let out a yelp when Malov gently pressed something against his leg. Dijon frowned as he hugged Crepe from behind.
"What did you do-"
"Like I said, he landed wrong."
"I didn't ask you-"
"She's right-" He hissed as Malov continued her work. "I landed wrong-" Dijon sighed as Malov scoffed.
"There, you big baby. Next time, I'm strapping you down." He gave a weak chuckle as she left. He then sighed.
"Dijon, can you help me up to my room. I highly doubt I'll be patrolling with this thing." Dijon purred.
"Actually, the others want to talk to both of you." A chuckle followed Crepe's groan.

(Crepe 2)
"Uh- I may not be the senior, but where's Crepe?"
Yellow's eyes zipped around as the others paused. The Unit was nowhere in sight and Green just now noticed that. Dijon gulped.
"I... thought he was here..."
"Same..."
~
Crepe trembled as Arctic locked the door to the house. It was rare for this to happen, but it was necessary. His phone hummed in his pocket, forcing him to answer the call.
"Crepe..."
"Hey, where are you?"
"Busy." He watched as Arctic managed to summon a large table that blocked the door. "Listen, tell the Chairperson that I won't be there for a while."
"What does that mean?" Crepe trembled before he responded.
"Something came up and I need time. Thanks." He hung up before Arctic gulped.
"Hopefully that'll keep her out."
~
It took a few days before they found the cause of Crepe's absence. His grandmother was in town and Yellow went on alert. Not hell alert, though, which surprised the others.
"There's something wrong."
"Ok... what does the demon in you say about it?"
"No... not the demon. My flower is alert. The forest feels something wrong..." The others glanced at her as she sent another scan at the elder.
~
Crepe held Arctic close as their grandmother broke into the house. An invisibly spell was their only barrier as she called out.
"Oh, where are you, my lovely grandchildren?"
~
Shockingly, it was Jaern that figured it out and got the siblings to safety. He carried the shaking duo to the others, who panicked at the sight.
"Crepe? Arctic?"
Arctic managed a weak smile before she was brought into a hug with Cedar. Meanwhile, Crepe broke down in tears within Dijon's arms. Jaern pulled Sage to the side before signing to him, almost explaining something. Midnight eyed the motions before the duo went back over. Green growled.
"What did-" Sage cut her off.
"He saved them. Relax. And if he hadn't done anything, they wouldn't be here."
He then knelt down beside Dijon and rubbed circles against Crepe's back, allowing him to rest against the redhead. Red paused as Blue turned to the former cult leader.
"So... what was it that you saved them from? Just curious."
Jaern paused before Midnight made a motion. There was a brief exchange before he finally did a set of motions while Midnight translated.
"'Their grandmother was a Shadowed Angel, one brave enough to get anywhere close to the rest of the world.'" Yellow stood up and looked Jaern in the eye, making him freeze up.
"A Shadowed Angel?" She gulped before pacing back and forth. Green looked at the others.
"I guess that was what alerted her?" Jaern hummed before Midnight translated his motions.
"'Most Viridian native know them by heart and often some of the last people to survive an attack from one. So this shouldn't surprise too many people.'" Yellow finally paused before turning to the older male.
"You dealt with her, right?" He nodded before she sighed. "Good..." Crepe finally spoke after a moment of silence.
"Can...." Yellow instantly got to his side as Dijon let him shift in his arms. Cedar had gotten Arctic some food and had no doubt grabbed the Flower's attention with its scent.
"Come on..." Dijon picked him up before they went over to where Cedar was helping Arctic.

(Star Ruby)
Star was resting in Lapis's arms when a conversation grabbed her attention.
"Spirit's really giving us a headache."
"We can't do anything until we can get something."
Star mentally sighed at that.
~
Star closed her eyes as she felt energy grow from her core. Her prized Wakizashi rested in her hands as she meditated. It had been a while since she had done this, so it would be interesting. She took a deep breath in before sending the energy flow into the blade of the curved sword. It took little time, but she felt light. With only a deep breath making her final thoughts known, she raised the sword and slashed down. A fiery slash tore through the air before it tore a boulder apart. She paused before conducting Chiburui, which was calming at the slightest, before sheathing the sword. That's when the sound of feet hit her ears. She ignored it as she closed eyes again, channeling energy into her next set of movements. She was sadly interrupted, but she was ready.
"Star-" She pulled her sword out and into Lapis's face. He halted instantly and froze. Sage and Joel, who were the lucky duo behind him, slowed down and paused.
"Woah... easy, Star." She didn't move as Lapis held him breath. "We just want to talk." She finally moved, performing Chiburui before sheathing her Wakizashi and turning around.
"What?" She huffed before taking a deep breath, focusing her energy once more. It was cut off upon Sage's voice. Curses.
"Whatcha up to?" She sent a glance back before she sighed.
"Oh, go have a makeout session of something. I'm busy." She was able to clear her head before focusing again. This time, Lapis got in front of her, making her glare at him. "Please move before you are my next target."
"Captain asked a question."
"And? Out of the way."
"No." She took a deep breath in before an aura encased her.
"So be it." Something entered her hand as flames coaxed it and she raised it above her head. He was lucky to have some damn good reflexes as she gave no warnings before she thrusted forward. While it didn't hit him, the flames roared before cremating another boulder. She let the item vanished before she sighed. "Not at full power... great..." She went over to her bag and pulled out a rolled up kit. Her Wakizashi was back out before she unrolled it and started cleaning the blade. Sage slowly approached.
"Is it safe to come near-"
"Blade is out, Captain. I may be cleaning it, but I will have no problem cutting your head off with it before recleaning." He stepped back as she sighed. "What do you guys want?"
"You weren't at the base-"
"10." Lapis yelped when the twins vanished, leaving him to run to catch up. She scoffed before sighing.
~
Later, she was quietly able to do some yoga, meditating and slow practicing before the others found her. She wasn't far from the base, but she heard their questions.
"Uh..."
"Don't know, Green."
"Oh..."
Her eyes glanced back as she subconsciously did a set of moves from her muscle memory. Blue surprisingly had the surprised look, meaning he knew what she was doing. She purred before focusing forward and pausing before heading over to her bag. She shuffled through gently, careful not to mess anything up, before bringing out her wireless headphones and MP3 Player. Perfect. She connected them before she heard Blue's voice near her.
"Star Ruby." She grimaced at the name used.
"Senior Blue." She turned as he scanned her.
"So I'm not the only one."
"No. But apparently we have our own ways of expressing it. I'm sure all Flames have their inner dragons that holds a special history. Now back up before I kick you on accident."
Blue simply hummed before a note fluttered down to her stuff and he walked away. She smiled before she put her headphones in and shoved the music player in her pocket, letting the gentle tunes fill her ears as she lifted herself from her heels.
~
Her transformation was so smooth. Sure, she got caught, but it was so clean. She raced forward to meet Sleipnir's attack.
"鬼の地獄のスピリチュアルな炎!"
Flames raced around her as her kingdom form turned on and her swords grew into a Nodachi. She locked eyes with Sleipnir after slicing the attack in half before the angel really snapped.
"YOU! BEGONE!" Scarlet gulped before vanishing and appearing behind her.
"Ladies first." She whispered after her voice had softened up. This was the one disadvantage, but also an advantage. She eyed her nemesis before she raised her sword above her head.
"ナイトフォールの双子! ファイナルフェニックス!"
A small flame appeared before it transformed into a large phoenix. Her eyes flashed before she let it tear her down. She landed after it cleaned up the scene. A quick Chiburui hit before she sheathed the Nodachi and voices filled the air.
"Spirit!" She didn't move as Yellow, Platinum, Henry, Blue, Green, Red, Lapis and Sage ran over to her. "Hey! Where were you?"
"Busy." Her soft voice floated gently as she scanned the Hell Ruler. "What is it?"
"You've been hiding from us. We were trying to talk to you." She didn't speak as her eyes scanned the area. She lifted onto her toes before speaking again.
"I prefer it." Her voice had yet to get louder than soft before she floated up and drifted around them. "What could you want to talk to me about?" Yellow frowned.
"Spirit, I'm the Ruler of Hell. Why else?" The Spirit Ruler tilted her head before a note fluttered from her hand and she faded form view. She slipped behind a tree before watching them. Lapis picked up the note before she smiled. Good enough.

(CoC Third Ranks)
(A scene of this may appear in a squad book)
One arrow. That's all that was need before the Third Ranks tore up the field.
The arrow struck one guy in the head before a battle cry filled the air and a pillar of light slammed into the rest of the group. Purple hissed.
"THIRD RANKS!" They gave no reply as they raced away.
~
Silence followed as the group of 15 entered the base. Rosa was the first to let herself be known.
"Almost caught."
"We'll have to give ourselves up soon. They'll start really moving in." She hummed at Amber's concern. Jaern finally spoke, a soft voice marking it.
"Not if we don't show the whole crew. But maybe our lead and possibly our sidelines." They paused before Rosa spoke.
"I'll take that risk. Get ready everyone."
~
Maple was on his last straw.
He had grabbed Purple and was not letting them get to him. He had broken down into tears as he lashed out at the man. Green paused.
"If that man keeps this up, he'll loose more than his life."
They nodded as Rosa stepped forward, letting her aura flutter to life. She could feel Jaern's aim now as he aimed at the cage that Purple had gotten thrown into. She raised her hand before dropping it, signaling the shot. The arrow shattered the cage with ease, making the others gasp. She smiled as she pulled out her lovely green bandana and raised it in the air.
"THIRD RANKS! ARISE AND TEAR HIM DOWN!"
Purple was pulled to safety by Angelica before the others raced down into combat. It was not hard after that. The Time girl quickly placed Purple near the others before vanishing. Rosa smiled before kneeling down.
"Purple?" He trembled as she helped him to his feet.
"Wha-" He couldn't finish before leaning against her. She gulped before the others cleaned up the field. Jaern raced through the field, picking up the others as she called out.
"SEE YOU AT THE BASE!" She then turned her attention to the older male. "Purple... stay with me..." He didn't respond as the others ran over, more focused on their ally then anything.
But she knew she was caught.

(Skyborns)
In Lapis's defense, he wasn't feeling well.
He had woken up with a high fever and in a lot of pain. In fact, he couldn't move it hurt so much. He actually fell back to sleep thanks to the level of strain that was put on him.
But he woke up to a nearly silent conversation in the next room. It wasn't very loud, but with no other noise in the room it was another story.
"Oh, and why am I to tell?"
"You're his favorite."
"I am not. He said you were."
"Guys leave it. We have to figure this out."
Lapis paused as he tiredly rubbed his face. He recognized Sage and Joel for the argument. Was that Midnight or Porcelain at the end there?
"Midnight's right." Ok, that solved it. A female voice followed.
"Yeah... If we don't figure it out, then what do we tell?"
"I'm sorry guys. But I'm siding with her."
Ok... Malov and Rednal. What were they talking about? He closed his eyes briefly before Sage spoke.
"Let's do this later. I have a sick ranger and we need to at least alert the stepsiblings and mothers."
"We'll go do that. Take care of your ranger." Lapis lost consciousness after that.
~
Later, he heard another meeting. This time it was the start and he was in the bathroom. Sadly, it was only Joel and Sage, but still worked. Sage was trying to talk figure out who was in the bathroom while Joel was talking with him.
"Joel, I don't have time for this."
"I realize that. But the point is that I can't approach Dad on my own. I just want to know that you'll be there with the rest of us."
"Joel... I don't know. I'm more worried about if the others find out. We have two Waves with us and Green will use that."
"Sage, this is a family crisis. Midnight and Porcelain are more focused on that. I already addressed that concern to them and we've cleared that up." Sage sighed a little bit.
"Well that puts me at ease a little bit. Alright fine. But if we get attacked thanks to the aura, it's not my fault."
"Fine." Sage knocked on the door as Lapis closed his eyes. What was he missing?
~
He was able to rest with Sage when Sage finally spoke. He had been up and down the whole week and Sage hadn't put anything out about any problems. Sage was helping him with some soup when he spoke.
"Lapis..." Lapis hummed as he felt pain in his stomach. He immediately grabbed his mouth as Sage grabbed a bucket for him. "Easy..." Lapis gently put his head over the bucket before he spoke.
"Is... there something wrong?" Sage was quiet as he rubbed Lapis's back.
"Well-" Lapis trembled slightly, trying to keep the soup down. "It's just family things... but-"
"You-" His hold didn't last. Sage instantly grabbed some water and waited for him to relax before giving it to him. He trembled before he cleared his mouth and was able to to retry his words. "You want another voice?"
"Sorta..." Lapis caught Sage lowering his head. "My family isn't the closest, but we are supposed to be stronger together... I want a voice that is experienced with that level of family bond." Lapis leaned against him as he let his stomach rest.
"Well... what are you hoping to hear? What's the situation?" Sage closed his eyes, giving a shaky signal to Lapis. A heartbeat of silence before the captain spoke.
"My family is being attacked-" Lapis let him bury his head in his shoulder. "Between Rogue Dragons and scientists... we have yet to get actual peace..." Lapis let him calm down before he spoke.
"And your family won't bond?"
"No... not fully. Lines have been made and your can almost see the cracks when we stand together. We're supposed to get stronger the more of us there are..." Lapis hummed as he looked at the ceiling. His head hurt and it was about to make his words way worse than Sage needed. So he kept his head cleared as he spoke.
"Sage... this is the time that you need to find the weak points. You have to cross those lines."
"But-"
"I know what you're going to say. However, I had to do that once. And now I'm glad I did. Because the line I crossed brought me a hell of a lot closer to my brothers that I was before. Before, I was the outcast after the transition. But I crossed a line that could've got me killed and now I fit in like never before. You have to break those barriers, cross those lines, if you want to hold strong." Sage softened his griped as he spoke.
"But... the others won't-"
"Sage... You've lead a base. One that is more powerful than you can handle. I have seen what you can do when you are powerless and this base has followed your lead regardless of the fact that it could take you down. If you can lead something that is well more than you, then you can lead your family and be a role model." Sage was quiet before he pulled away and smiled.
"Thanks Lapis... I just now need to get the bravery to do that." Lapis smiled as he leaned against him.
"Or just show Joel up." Sage gave a soft chuckle as he planted a kiss on the bluenette's head.
"Rest up. Since the food's still not staying down, we'll try again later."
~
Sage took one last breath of confidence as he neared the site of the meeting. Rage had sparked and it wasn't looking good. He gulped as he remembered what Lapis had said. He sighed before going over. The group paused before Chelsea scoffed.
"You're late." He didn't respond as he put his bag down by a tree and leaned against it. "Any reason?" He shook his head before scanning the group.
"Where's the mothers?"
"Trying to reach out to Father." Joel spoke in a soft voice. Hearing it made him pause. While the others went right back into their argument, Sage went to his twin's side.
"What happened?" Joel trembled as he leaned against the green haired male.
"T-the others jumped me when I arrived alone..." Sage held him close.
"I'm sorry-"
"No... it's not your fault..."
Sage helped the blonde sit down to stabilize him. He calmed down before cleaning up his act, but Sage felt another rush of confidence. Joel was his twin, so they shouldn't have such a line between them. After he was told that his blonde brother was ok, he stepped away, ready to tackle the main problem.
"Guys." They didn't hear him, so he got louder, just before Joel could join in. "Guys!" They fell silent as he sighed. "We're not getting anywhere like this. And I think Father will say the same thing. So we need to pull ourselves together in order to work together." Midnight frowned as Rednal spoke softly.
"Sage... that won't work-"
"Will it? We wouldn't know because we act like we're not a family. You can't tell me it won't work if we haven't tried." Porcelain tried to counter.
"But we have-"
"No we haven't. We've acted like we are lonely kids that don't have a family. So how about we pull ourselves together, fix the problems that are tearing us apart, and retry this again?" The others were silent before Joel spoke.
"Sage..." His green eyes caught sight of his twin reaching a shaky hand out. He went over and took it before helping him to his feet. Joel trembled before he spoke once more. "Sage is right. We all have been way too divided. We have to mend the cracks." Sage let him lean against him as he trembled again. "We can't let them keep us apart..." No one spoke as Sage sat down with his twin in his arms. Midnight spoke in a soft voice.
"Then let's go. Before the parents started lurking."

(Excellente)
"I told you."
Blake didn't answer as he scanned his info. The recent recruitment had been successful, gaining 3 Excellente lines. But they were still down one. He was putting everything in where it belonged while the others talked about who to track down.
"Blake, you'll get us caught."
"Sue me then." He finished before sighing. "One more..."
~
"SHUT UP!"
Hearing Blake's voice hit that volume caused Green to instantly turn. A scream followed while Pearl's voice shouted.
"GET OUT OF OUR TERRITORY! WE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO USE!"
"BULLCRAP-"
"I SAID SHUT UP!"
She glanced at Blue and Yellow, who gained concerned looks before going over. Red was holding Blake back while a blonde behind them looked like she was going to nuke someone. Blue gazed up to see the group was glaring and a person on top of a building, who seemed pleased with themselves.
"I'LL GIVE YOU HELL! JUST YOU WAIT!" Red gulped as he pulled against Blake's attempted charge. Yellow barely caught what he said.
"Blake... come on... let's go find someone who can... relax a bit..."
~
It took the whole group to calm the water master down. And even then he wouldn't leave the topic alone.
"Blake..." He looked up a little from his desk, which was cluttered with books and files. "We understand you ambition, but relax a bit." He lowered his head, not responding before going back to work. Pearl sighed at that.
~
They finally found their final Excellente. While the person was taunting the others, who were trying to heal and calm Blake down, the final Excellente showed. They also gave Black a heart attack and did some other damage, but whatever.
Black yelped when an aura hit the air. An Aura. However, it really alerted him as he trembled violently. A voice followed as the Excellente-less Manipulator froze.
"I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY!" X got to his feet instantly as the voice continued. "YOU WANT TO HAVE THIS TYPE OF BATTLE!? THEN FIGHT SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE!" The aura encased the area as something started forming. Black whimpered before latching onto X, surprising the group.
"Black?" He trembled as the voice returned.
"LET THIS BE THE LAST TIME YOU SEE THE SUN, BEAST THAT THREATENS THIS WORLD WITH CONTROL! I HAVE JUST THE THING FOR YOU! SO BANISH!"
There was no real way to tell what happened, but they did know that the words were true as the manipulator vanished upon the attack. Someone approached them as the aura vanished.
"All good?" They looked towards the voice, seeing the Dragon Elite Drasna. X blinked.
"Miss Drasna... what-" She hushed him.
"Just rest. All's well." She then knelt down to Blake, who had sorta escaped the daze he was in. "Are you ok?" He didn't answer as Pearl gulped.
"No... he still has wounds that we're working on." She smiled before placing a hand on the water master's shoulder. A soft glow encased him before it faded, revealing him to have been healed. He blinked before she placed a file near him.
"There..." She then stood up. "All good. Now to see who at the league went into hiding." The others paused as she vanished elsewhere. Black calmed down enough to get to Blake and get a hug. Pearl gulped.
"What just happened?"
