If you weren't Cedar, you couldn't be faster.

"ARISING OF COSSEL!"

Blue blinked at the static that filled the air before a barrier clashed with a shockwave that had struck. Cedar was silent as he held the barrier and a battle cry filled the air. Green hissed.

"Cedar-"

"You're welcome." He then scanned the area before a familiar face appeared in the air. Skippy let out a yelp as Scrappy's voice filled the air.

"ROAR OF CHAOS!"

A ball of Energy filled her hands before she sent it down upon a target. Cedar had yet to say anything as a scream followed. Green paused as he sighed.

"'I don't kill people. That's absurd.' Yeah, and I don't save the others from your rages, Scrap Paper." Another set of voices touched the air before Scrappy landed. Red tilted his head and grabbed the conversation.

Sun: "Nice job, Scrap Paper!"

Scrappy: "Thanks. Thanks for the Support, Sunshine."

Purple: "If you're lucky, you got a high number."

Admiral: "Onyx is calculating right now."

Onyx: "That was... a 53."

Scrappy: "Adding to my current amount..."

X: "Oly Amernata-"

Oat: "And there he goes. Off into his mind never to return."

Scrappy: "Cedar's been caught muttering."

Sun: "Bet it was about you."

Admiral: "Oh, it totally was. Give him a break. If it was about those Rages, Scrap, he's right."

Scrappy: "Oh, I know. But at least I'm not Crepe, who really needs to get tied down."

Oat: "Then let's go. Before Cedar finds us. I've already gotten zapped once this week."

Purple: "Ok, I gotta hear this story."

Red frowned as he eyed the covenant, who had Tiffany snuggling up to him. What did that mean?

Emerald figured it out.

"Just take a look." His fingers were moving rather quickly as he pulled something up. Green frowned as something appeared on the big screen. "I found this on a skycam and realized that it's linked to what we're looking for." He gulped as a video played.

Cedar was able to pull to a stop before the others raced forward. Sun led the attack, his sword practically a blur as it sliced several heads off. His eyes flashed before a few others dropped to the ground. Onyx floated up before summoning a large arsenal of blades from the sky. Scrappy jumped up to his level and summoned her own arsenal of fireballs. The others jumped out of the way as the duo sent down the armies of attacks down, dealing heavy damage upon a group of enemies. Admiral and Purple followed it up with two large waves of magic, then following those up with quick, close-range attacks. X and Oat got into the air before racing down and nearly finishing the battle. One guy got out of the way until a shock knocked him out. The others, who were ready to kill the survivor, paused before turning to Cedar, who was slowly walking over to them. The video was able to capture his words.

"Leave him. He's not worth another death. Let's go."

Admiral seemed to complain, but Cedar ignored her as he took off. Emerald turned it off as he turned to the others.

"According to some notes, these guys are called the 'Dangers'. 7 of them are the strongest of the Dexters while the last one is the only person that can control their rage. Can you guess who's who?" Green frowned.

"Cedar's... not the rage-holder, is he?" Emerald gulped.

"Well, he's not as powerful as the others can get, that's for sure. So... yes." She gulped as he tapped something on his laptop. "All clips I have found have shown him keeping them from destroying stuff. Ranges from enemies to children." Red dropped the apple he had upon that sentence.

"Children? Who in their right mind-"

"I've got clips. Cedar has managed to keep a lot of kids safe from them." Red had yet to say anything as Blue rubbed his back.

"We gotta get more info."

(Sun)

"Shatter."

Cedar let out the scream when the boss of the group attacking them suddenly was in pieces. Sun's eyes were glowing a weird pink as he purred.

"Now... begone before you join him."

Those guys were gone before Cedar could scream again. He still did but whatever. The others glanced at him as he managed words.

"ITHOUGHTWETALKEDABOUTTHIS!" Sun didn't answer as his eyes faded from the glow. He huffed as he walked away, leaving Cedar to calm down.

(Onyx)

The Phoenix gave Onyx up as he glared at the group that had attacked Opal. While the Wave was hiding with Jade, he fired. The enemies screamed as Cedar landed and Onyx huffed.

"Don't touch my girlfriend. That's final, you bastards." Jade trembled as he calmed Opal down. Cedar gulped.

(Scrappy)

Yes. She threw a literal meteor.

A large meteor appeared in the small girl's hand as she aimed at Maple. Her aura was on, which was causing Cedar to hug a shaking Skippy to calm her down. Scrappy then chuckled before she threw the meteor, her aura dealing all the damage. Skippy had gone from simple shaking to screaming and trying to escape. Scrappy landed before noticing her panicking sister. She was still blinking out of the daze as Cedar calmed Skippy down.

(Admiral)

Green clicked it.

While watching Admiral's combat against Crepe, she noticed 3 key things that made the young Wave's aura dangerous. Her right foot kept bringing out a mysterious weapon out that would either clash with or strike at Crepe, Eevee would constantly disappear before an Eeveelution would fire at him, and she seemed to know his moves before he actually moved. She finally fired something that slammed him into a tree. Cedar landed as she turned to them.

"I should tape you down... but I know how that'll go."

(Purple)

Purple kept shifting between himself, Paul and Prysm as he navigated through the base. He knew Emerald was following him on the cameras, but he had a target. Paul was very clean with persuading, Purple was able to not get caught and Prysm was able to get into places that the trio weren't allowed into. Cedar's voice entered his earpiece as he got to his target.

"Purple, Paul and Prysm, pull out now." Paul's voice entered the com as he chuckled.

"But Cedar-"

"Don't leave too many bodies in your wake."

"Too late." Purple whispered as Paul ordered a Teleport from Abra. The place exploded as he took off.

(X)

X brought panic.

Knives coming out of his sleeves was nothing compared to what he followed that up with. He unsheathed his corrupt knife and stabbed the ground.

"Let this energy flow
Tear through and bring up the tree
Of Corruption with fatal low
To overcome thee."

A large-tree like object grew from the ground as his eye glowed a weird pink. The enemy group screamed as the aura tore them apart. Cedar yelped as Y froze.

"X! We talked about this!" The Kalos Blade didn't respond as the tree vanished as he disappeared.

(Oat)

He started off difficult.

He led with a series of 'Moon' attacks before he landed and pulled out his sword. Chaos followed as he tore apart anyone that survived the first set of attacks. Cedar held a barrier up to defend the allies as Oat cleaned up.

"Oat..." He winced before racing off. "I still saw that!"

(Cedar)

He was the least violent.

While the others were trying to find a way to hit Ghetsis without hurting Green, Cedar charged up and sent a frost shock down the villain's back, which gained a loud yelp. Green was able to escape his loosened grip before Cedar fired his larger attack, a pillar of lightning. As Ghetsis vanished, Cedar turned to the senior.

"Are you ok, Senior Green?" She nodded as he smiled. "Good." He then turned to the 7 that were plotting murder. "And that's how you deal with a problem without too much damage." They winced as he took off.

(From Storm to Barrier)

He snapped almost instantly.

Upon Lapis's scream from Crepe's 'accidental' misfire, Cedar sent a shock at him. Crepe was slammed into a tree as Admiral pulled the others back. Green winced.

"Admiral-"

"No, let him at him." She knelt down to Lapis, who was curled up into a ball. "Lapis, stay with me." He whimpered as Crepe called out.

"Don't test me, Ced-" Another shock got thrown as Midnight gulped.

"Yeah... keep him quiet..." Seafoam was able to start healing Lapis as he relaxed from Crepe's silence. Cedar had yet to say anything as a storm encased the sky. Crepe tried again, this time getting shocked before he could speak. Cedar finally casted.

"Vanquish."

A lightning bolt raced down and slammed into Crepe, sending him off the field. Green froze as Cedar sat down to calm himself down. Tiffany went over and hugged him.

"Shh...."

Later, after Green gave her speech of untrusting, Cedar locked himself in his room. His mind was racing at this point, from plans to death. Three main things came up. He wanted to die, but he knew he already had captured Sun's attention with that. There was also the storm. He wanted that gone, regardless of his Covenmates' thoughts. Lastly, he wanted this all to end. Death wasn't the answer, but maybe just making a change that would shut the others up. He finally stood up and grabbed a box from his closet. A quick spell got the room to suddenly empty out the room of his belongings and into the box, forming a shrunken version of his room. He gulped as he grabbed three things; a card from the closet door that had given him an unlimited space for things to place it in the box, a teddy bear that was not his normal cuddle bear, and his phone. He closed up the box before he called someone, shaking rather violently.

"Hello?"

"Hey Tiff."

"Cedar? What's wrong?" He gulped.

"Uh- I'm about to do something stupid."

"Cedar!"

"What? I can't do this anymore. I need to do something."

"You're letting Green's words get into your head."

"But she's right. What if I hit someone? I wouldn't know until after I finished calming down. I need to fix this." He heard her take a deep breath.

"And... how are you going to do that?"

"I'm going after the Onaexal." Silence followed before she spoke again.

"C-cedar- no... that's a suicide mission-"

"I have to at least defeat he one inside me. There's no other answer to fix this." Her voice shook.

"Please tell me you'll come back safe..."

"I'm not leaving without defeating it. I will not let it control me anymore than it already has. I'll text you a location to pick up my things so that it's all in safe hands. I'll return once I've won." He heard a sniffle that made his heart throb. "Tiff-"

"Be safe... please..." He smiled before he spoke.

"I will. Love you." He hung up before texting the coordinates he gave Slowpoke and casted the needed spell.

Green frowned as she eyed Tiffany, who had yet to talk to her since Cedar's disappearance. She held a bear close to her chest, whispering something into its ear as she kept calm. She grabbed Admiral as she kept her eye on Tiffany.

"Could you tell Tiff I need to talk to her?"

"She won't talk to anyone. Garret is the only person." Green frowned.

"No Waves?"

"Won't talk to anyone but Garret. Even Clyde and Billy have gotten silence."

1 year later

Cedar smiled as the Onaexal purred. He won. The large, dangerous storm finally spoke as he caught his breath.

"The first person to defeat on of us. We are impressed. Now go. We shall not disturb you anymore."

His conscious faded at that.

Tiffany teared up when he arrived at her camp.

He decided to drop by Tiffany's place first since she was the one that really missed him. She had Rue and Kam near her; Rue asleep on her back while Kam was helping her with food. He took a second to admire the beauty Tiffany had and how adorable the view looked before he went over and covered Tiffany's eyes from behind. She easily froze.

"H-hey!" Kam gave a soft giggled at Cedar's mischievous grin. He then spoke in a low voice.

"Now now, Tiff. All's good." She paused.

"Marcus?" He chuckled.

"At least you didn't name a Ranger or one of your brothers. I would think you would know your brothers' hands and the gloves would give the Rangers up. But you are close." She muttered something under her breath before she froze.

"Cedar...?" He moved his hands as she whipped around.

"Hello beautiful." She trembled before she jumped into his arms. He smiled as he hushed her, calming her tears down.

"You're ok..." She then realized something before pulling away. "You won?" He nodded as he wiped her face.

"Took a total of 7 tries before I found the solution." She leaned against his hand as he smiled. "I'm home Tiff. I'm not leaving again." She smiled before she turned to the food that Kam had finished cooking.

"Then... do you want some food?" He nodded as he felt his stomach growl. She giggled a little as she got him a plate.

It wasn't hard to see that Cedar had changed.

He single-handedly healed a group of Rangers and separated Crepe and Admiral's argument with only two quick spells. He was a whole lot calmer and didn't listen to any of the insults from before. Even Green got lost upon her interaction with him. He was getting food for Midnight and Lapis when she went over.

"Cedar!" The two boys groaned as he smiled.

"Morning Senior Green."

Her mind hit the brakes on her approach as she froze. That was not the normal response to her. He gave the two boys food before purple sparkles flew a plate over to a rather pale Crepe, saving him from Linda's Jam Sandwich Trap. Linda glared at him while Crepe gave a grateful look. Cedar then had some more sparkles send a few plates to some of the others as Admiral went over.

"What's cooking?"

"Honey Ham Sandwiches. Want one?" She nodded as Green blinked. She managed to go over to Lapis before speaking.

"Ok, what happened?" Lapis shrugged.

"He returned from wherever he went and had this new attitude. No one knows what happened." She hummed as Cedar got drinks for the Dexters as food got finished up. Midnight smiled.

"Thanks Cedar!" The Covenant smiled as he grabbed rue from her seat next to Lapis and went somewhere. Green eyed him, her mind still trying to solve what happened.

(Saving Grace) (Inspiration Below)

Cedar's aura pulsed as the other 7 let their spells charge up. Green gulped as Yellow called out.

"Cedar, that's not going to work."

"If I can hold Star's fire and not let her burn it, I can do this."

Scrappy's voice led the attack as they fired.

"ROAR OF THE LAST WAR!"

Cedar's spell followed, only with a little more gentleness.

"Warmth of Hearth."

A gentle warmth cross the ground as the enemy lines were destroyed. Green trembled as she shut her eyes, waiting for the worse. Cedar then spoke again, following his first spell.

"Apple of Rebirth!"

The warmth from before sent out a calm aroma that made Green open her eyes and got a gasp from the others. A large, glowing flower had emerged from the light of the 7's attacks, which got them to slowly retract their spells. As the light vanished, Cedar casted one more spell.

"Harmony of Grace!"

A gentle light covered the battlefield, cleaning it up and healing whatever was harmed. Green was quiet as purple sparkles brought the group down and the light faded. He then turned and smiled.

"There." He then took off as Admiral managed to get up.

"Cedar-" She frowned. "What the-"
