A Real Party.
(All Questions will go to the "Hidden Secrets")
(This might be the theme for the book after Dijon's for the NightSky Series. Be ready for that)
Admiral purred as she watched the others calm the panic down. The Escapers had crossed the line. And she might kill them. She was calling someone as they went into a stressed rest.
"Hello?"
"Get the crew together. We have an enemy that has crossed the line."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She rested against a tree near the Dexter base. The others were still asleep from the stress. She turned as a group went over.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Purple was quiet as they looked at the screen. Yeah... if you hadn't guessed already, the Escapers had him. But captured wouldn't be the right word for it. More like convinced. They had successfully convinced him to join them. He had to do some things, but he did accept. They were getting ready to contact the Dexters, but they couldn't get anything else but a set of disconnected devices. They did finally get in contact with Admiral, who did not seem happy.
"Oh look. It's the morons of the year in one group." Purple sighed.
"There's an idiot among the group."
"Who? Because last time I checked, the Escapers are nothing but a bunch of morons who are clueless about life. Only morons are allowed in that group. If there's an idiot among them, they've lost that title."
Purple touched his heart as if he was hurt.
"Dear Admiral, you do know who you're talking to, right?"
"I thought so. But apparently not. Who is this?"
The Escapers looked at each other in confusion.
"Admiral, you're not Pink."
"I asked a question."
"This is Purple."
"Clearly not. Because the Purple I know would be keeping peace. Not being a moron with a group of them."
Wow. That hurt. He had nothing to say as Kincaid took over.
"Brutal to a teammate."
"What teammate? If you're assuming I know the moron you have in your group, you clearly need to see if Isaac will get you a new brain."
The group had to pause. What was she going on about?
"We have one of your allies! Why so brutal?"
"Let me enlighten you. You have no allies with you. You have a former ally that is on thin ice and has a ticking time bomb. Next?"
Purple froze at that. Ghetsis frowned.
"What are you going on about?"
"You think you've gained a powerful ally. But in reality you've put yourselves in a threatening situation. You are to choose wisely of your actions before you are cremated and taken off the playing field. Because you lost the easy mode. Awhile ago, mind you."
Purple stayed quiet as she continued.
"Of course, your choices. I'm not enforcing anything. But my actions will be what says your place. You know the source of this threat, or at least I hope you do, so you better act. Before it gets you killed."
"You won't kill us." Kincaid's soft voice echoed into the call.
"Oh? Maybe not me, but with who I'm walking in with? I already have three people who are asking for Purple's head to be on a stick. And everyone else here is in agreement to help achieve that. I personally think that your whole crew should join him. So what were saying?"
The room fell silent.
"No argument? Then that's the cue to execute the plan. Have fun."
The call went quiet as Purple shifted uncomfortably.
"Hopefully she's joking-" Purple Eyes started before Purple was on his feet.
"Incoming!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She wasn't kidding.
She led the attack with three of her members combining to form Paul. Purple couldn't, so he was open. She then let the trio's form lead the attack as they raced in. They waited until 'Paul' entered the room. The reaction was perfect.
"Paul? What the hell are you doing here?" 'Paul' chuckled as Purple stared in confusion.
"Just visiting my fellow enemies. I can't do that?" Purple blinked out of the daze he was in and growled.
"What are you thinking, barging into our territory?" 'Paul' chuckled.
"I'm surprised a Dexter is here." Purple gulped as Kenatle stepped in front of him with a protective stance. "Did you put him under your control?"
"He willingly joined us."
"Doubtful." 'Paul' said softly. "You see, it would be very believable if it was a different group. But beings that you're the Escapers, it's not as believable." Purple paused as he whispered to Shandowa.
"Shan-"
"I don't know, Purple. The Paul set is in the case."
He was quiet as 'Paul' chuckled. How was this possible?
"I'll say this..." 'Paul' started quietly. "I didn't come for most of you. After all, I already know what many of you pathetic morons can do. I'm interested in knowing what this new moron can do." Purple growled.
"One, I'm an idiot-"
"Moron."
"-two, you know what I can do-"
"Nope." 'Paul' chuckled darkly. "One, anyone that joins the Escapers become morons. Two, I thought I did. But you weren't an Escaper then like you are now." Purple paused as 'Paul' smiled. "Of course, I can't let you have your glorious moment because you can get help. So I brought... reinforcements."
"Reinforcements..." Purple murmured softly, his mind going blank. 'Paul' chuckled at that.
"This is our battlefield! Go for it!"
And that's when The Escapers knew they screwed up.
Admiral raced forward, clashed with Kincaid while the others pushed the rest of the group. The fights split up and they went as followed:
Admiral vs Kincaid
Fedorov and Emmerez vs Mainthem
Hazel vs Kenatle
Wheeler and Persephone vs Purple Eyes
Garrett and æœłøə vs Ghetsis
'Paul' vs Purple
Purple was instantly pushed out of the main battlefield, allowing the others to go all out on the remainder. 'Paul' then came back as the trio with Purple rested unconsciously on Arley's back.
"Excellent work, everyone. This might be our chance."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Purple woke up to feel ropes on him. He straightened up and noticed himself tied to a chair. He whimpered as a voice filled the air.
"You're awake." He blinked as Admiral came into view. He paused.
"You... do you realize what you're doing?!"
"Yes. And I don't care. I stopped caring when you ditched the others in a pit of darkness. They lost their light, so I'm giving it back and getting my dream accomplished."
"I am about to lose the chance to defeat these guys-"
"You're not doing shit!" He froze at the change. "All you're doing is putting yourself in a position that will hurt you! Is that what you want?!" He blinked.
"What...?" She huffed before quieting her voice a little.
"The others won't trust you. The world will go against you. All of your allies will fade off. Is that the life you want?" He couldn't speak for a moment. "Purple! Do you want that!?"
"No-" He choked out, tears staining his face. He had been through some serious pain, but he never expected this would be what brought the tears to his face. She finally paused and a soft, kind smile crossed her face.
"Then... would you like a second chance?" He blinked as the tears blinded him. "You can redeem yourself right now. I promise."
"Really...?" He barely whispered. She nodded.
"Yes. Are you willing?"
He stayed quiet before nodding. The ropes collapsed as he trembled and she guided him out of the room. A soft conversation filled his ears as he was led to another room where the others were.
"Guys, we got him." He was sat down as he paused. "Please be gentle with him." A soft noise emerged from one person, grabbing Purple's attention.
"Admiral, stop traumatizing everyone you come across." He wiped his eyes before looking at the speaker. He knew that voice. Another recognizable voice filled the air.
"Relax. He just needs some time. And by that point, we'll have completed our task."
"Says you Garrett. But you never know."
"Persephone..."
"Split it up."
He looked around the room as his vision cleared up. He instantly identified many of them. Persephone, Garrett, Mr. Fedorov, Emmerez, Wheeler, Arley, Hocus, Kasa, and Admiral. There were two unfamiliar faces. Admiral smiled at him.
"I'll assume you know many of these people, so I'll save most of the introductions for a real newbie. Meanwhile, I'll do the ones that you probably don't know." He paused as she went over to the two unknown people. "Purple, this is Hazel and æœłøə, aka Witch-Hazel and Sang-E-Maryam's rival." He blinked as she smiled.
"Why..."
"Am I working with enemies? I'm not. Our jobs work well together." He paused.
"What...?"
"You break into evil teams, hide in them and try to tear them apart from the inside. Well... in doing so, you gain many allies to try and disable the groups. That's sorta what I'm doing here. Only I'm cleaning up the aftershock. I go, grab the disabled, or current enemies if I'm lucky, and I start to give them second chances and back into the ally lines. This is my team of regaining enemies, aka the Redeeming Lights! This is the Aqua Section of it, so you'll get used to it. More later, we have work to do."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Purple gulped as he looked around a tree. The Dexters were talking in soft voices as him and Admiral planned a quick attack upon the incoming Escapers. He felt a knot in his stomach as she nodded to him. Kincaid was about to speak when they launched and pushed the Escapers away from the mentally down group. The shock was perfect.
"Purple?!" He smiled softly before sending a series of attacks upon the attackers while Admiral dealt with Kincaid. The duo exchanged blows while Purple wiped out the rest of them. He was engulfed in a group hug while Admiral destroyed Kincaid. She pulled out her phone and smiled.
"Mission successful. You guys can head home while I reach out to the other Aids and see where we are in the Master Plan. Yep, bye."
She hung up and smiled at the reunion. She turned on her heel and walked away as she called someone else.
"Hey. Admiral here. I need all Aids to get together. It's time we took the next step forward for Operation Present Peace."
(Let me know if you need anything else)
