Avery Taylor» She's the type who would always sit in the back of the class, so the teachers wouldn't call on her for questions. She hated speaking. It showed people a part of her. It made it seem like she was opening up to them. She didn't want friends. She didn't believe that she needed friends. No one needs friends in her opinion. She was bullied all the time on her way home. It hurt her. But she pretended it didn't. She kept quiet because she was always afraid she'd say the wrong thing. It's how she got bullied in the first place.

Mason Hill» He was gay. In his school, people who were gay were stupid and called faggots. It wasn't fair. He didn't want to talk to anyone, too afraid he'd say something that "sounded gay". He was scared that people would hurt him. In his school, everyone hated gay people. Talked bad about them all the time. He started to write in his diary- no, he didn't want to seem gay, so let me change that, journal- but someone stole that diary and found out his little secret that wasn't so little. It was like all they cared about was making him feel bad about himself. So he did what was best for himself. He stayed quiet.

Sorry I really couldn't think of many reasons people are shy:( I'm not super shy((Lies)) but I can understand if you are. If you have any other ideas for reasons of being shy message me.
