Kasai hesitated for a moment when she saw KitKat guarding the lair again.  She was about to throw a rock like she had done last time, but Sasha stopped her.

"...leave this to me...but cover your ears."

Kasai hesitated, but covered her ears, signalling for the rest of the group to do the same.

Sasha took a deep breath before singing a quiet tune, causing the two nekos to stop what they were doing.

"...hey Kat...where's that pretty song coming from...?" Kit asked.

"...I dunno...but I'm getting tired." Kat mewed with a yawn.

"Me too..." Kit muttered.

The two cuddled up together on the ground and slowly drifted to sleep, unable to stay awake any longer.  Quiet purrs escaped their throats.

Sasha stopped singing.  Kasai uncovered her ears.

"Sometimes I forget you can do that."

"Honestly...I do too." Sasha muttered.

"Well c'mon, the path's clear now!" Flash complained impatiently, rushing towards the entrance of the lair.  The others shortly followed, being careful not to wake the sleeping nekos.

The group — except Kasai, of course, since she's already been there— froze and marveled at the lair.  Zakk, of course, immediately got his attention drawn by the gold.

"Sooo muuuchhh...." he muttered dizzily, falling backwards.  Flash caught him.

"Try not to get too distracted, greedy dragon boy."

"I'm not greedy!" he protested.  ".....can I just take one little-"

"NO."

"...but-"

"No.  We have to focus on looking for Snow."

Zakk groaned and stared at the gold, jealous of whoever owned it all.  "Fiiine..."

"Oh, enough." Kasai snapped.  "It's this way I think."

She started going in the direction she remembered the room with Snow being in.  The others watched her for a moment before following.

Doug growled quietly at the stench in the air.  "...another werewolf lives here.  But...the scent isn't normal."

"Yeah, no one here's normal." Kasai pointed out.  "Everyone has some kind of malformation, AND green eyes.  Don't know if you've noticed it yet... now quiet down before we get spotted."

The group continued searching, until...

"AHA!  Found it!"

They all rushed over to see Kasai peering in the room.  They peeked in to see Snow still trapped in the cage.

"Snow!"
