A new dawn, a new day. Stormy awoke and found no trace of Moon- as usual. He always had to leave to go to the daycare early to get everything ready, which made sense. Stormy headed over to Cookie, and gently woke the kit up.

"Come on Cookie, time to get up." Stormy announced, gently poking the kit's nose. The brown and white tom tiredly woke up. "Why?" He whined.

Stormy chuckled. "You got school. I need to drop you off bud." Stormy flicked his tail, as Cookie hesitantly woke up. 

Stormy trotted into the kitchen and started getting food ready, handing it to Cookie as he himself ate some toast. As the two cats finished up their meals, they headed out of the manor and through the gates, slowly taking the path to town.

"Stormy? What do I do if someone makes fun of me?" Cookie asked, looking up at the older tom. Stormy huffed. "If anyone does that, then they don't realize who they're messing with! If someone makes fun of you, tell the principal immediately, then me. If the issue persists, let me or Moon know." Stormy answered, resting his tail on the kit gently, as a form of comfort.

Cookie looked up at Stormy and smiled brightly. Sure, the kit always looked like he was crying, but Cookie had his own traumas.

Stormy smiled back as he continued to bring the kitten to his school, walking along the paved sidewalk. New technology was coming out every day. Not everyone adapted as quickly as others, but it was always so fascinating to Stormy. Watching the cars move, and even just watching TV.

No matter what it was, it was always so new, so interesting.

"How about after school, I see if Moon wants to join us on a fishing trip, yeah?" Stormy asked, watching out for the kit as they neared the building. "Oh! Yeah! That seems like fun!" Cookie quickly agreed, seeming rather interesting as his tail flicked back and forth.

Stormy smiled and walked Cookie up to the school. "Stay safe, I'll pick ya up after school!" Stormy exclaimed, flicking his tail goodbye as he left Cookie to continue his school day.

Walking away from the large building and back towards the central part of town, Stormy sighed. He missed Cassian and Alulah greatly at times, and if not them, then he missed Moon.

In fact, Stormy was starting to miss Moon more and more these days whenever Moon was gone. Yeah, sure, the tom was a bit odd at times, but Stormy still cared about him, wondering if he'd make it back home okay.

Stormy couldn't bear the thought of losing Moon- he couldn't even bear the thought of losing Cookie, either. Both him and Moon practically raise that kit at this point...

Was it that bad to care so greatly about cats he knew he'd have to lose soon...?

Shaking the thoughts free from his head, Stormy continued to walk around before entering a small fishing shop. Stormy bought the fish bait and proceeded to head home.
