'Doctor... Bruce....' Natasha whispered and Bruce stopped for a moment, before falling to the floor in agony.

Sue wanted to step in but feared Bruce as his shirt ripped from his growing form and his height grew to a whopping seven feet. As The Hulk, Bruce stumbled for a moment at the transformation and pounded his fist against a container next to him. Pressurised air spewed out and Natasha was able to lift the beam off her leg and get to her feet.

Bruce turned around and saw Natasha, roaring as he ran at her in his colossal size. The agent jumped up the ladder that led to a catwalk but felt it rip out from under her. The Hulk swiped his monstrous arms in attempts to grab her, but she grabbed the rail and heaved herself up and over, sliding and ducking through pipes to try and get away.

The Hulk roared as Natasha slipped out of sight and Sue took a step backwards, hoping to slip away quietly. But her foot met a sheet of metal, causing it to scrape against the floor. Bruce's head whipped around at the noise and Sue had never felt so terrified. His green eyes focused on her and the muscles in his neck strained as a mighty roar left his mouth.

As the green beast charged at her, Sue disappeared from her place and jumped out of the way. Bruce stopped and whipped his head around with grunts and growls. The hallways were empty, but he knew that Sue was still there. He could sense her nearby and he could smell the radiation that exelled from her cells.

Sue had never tried so hard to be light-footed. She watched as The Hulk searched for her and let out roars as he smashed his fists against things around him. In her invisible state, she shuffled around and slipped towards the exit, never being so thankful for being invisible.

Natasha hid above in the pipelines and was spotted by Bruce. He had given up in looking for Sue and roared as he saw the redhead above him. The grates she stood on were yanked away and she was able to slip down to the floor and begin running. Her leg still ached from being trapped under the beam, but she ran for her life through the narrow walkway. Bruce destroyed the walls with his wide frame and sprinted after her. He threw his arm against her and sent Natasha into the wall of the next room.

The woman let out a gasp as she collided with the wall. She struggled to sit up and watched helplessly as Bruce charged at her again, his fists raised and ready to squash Natasha. She clenched her eyes shut in preparation, but heard a loud thud instead.

Sue slid in front of Natasha and created a dome around herself and the agent. Bruce's fists bounced off the barrier and threw him onto his back from the rebound. Sue made herself visible and was on up on her knees as she held the forcefield strong around them. The Hulk grew angry at the lack of impact and threw himself forward again, colliding his shoulder with the dome.

Sue gritted her teeth at the force Bruce charged with and struggled to hold her hands steady. His fists came down again and Sue felt her barrier falter. Natasha sat back against the wall as the woman tried to keep the two protected. But the third time Bruce pounded with his fists, the forcefield collapsed in form and Sue fell back onto her elbows at the hit.

The women sat in fear as Bruce raised his arm with a face of thunder. They sat helplessly as Sue felt too weak to produce another dome and the two prepared for the worst. But the monster was crashed into by Thor who flew into the room, taking the two through a wall and into the hanger.

'Are you okay?' Sue turned around and looked at Natasha. The two of them were slick with sweat from the fear and from the intense beating they took.

'Yeah, I'm good. Thank you,' Natasha panted and looked down. Her eyes were wide, and she couldn't believe what she had seen. Bruce turning into a large, green monster was something of the stuff of nightmares.

Sue helped Natasha up and assisted her with her injured leg. They knew Thor would be able to handle Bruce for now and just worked on getting to the infirmary. Sue would go to help once she was sure Natasha was okay and find out what was causing all the commotion.

Steve and Tony worked together to get the conducting cooling system back online. The third engine of the helicarrer needed to be jumpstarted in order to function at least half decently. Tony instructed Steve to stay in the control unit and pull a red lever that will slow down the rotors. That way, Tony could get in there and manually push it to get it spinning again.

He flew down into the rotors and put his hands against the one in front of him. He powered up the boosters in his suit and pushed with all his strength. The boosters helped and the rotor moved forward, rotating the others to spin like a fan. But he was slow and the helicarrier was descending towards the ocean below. Tony wouldn't be able to push it by himself.

'Should of have had oatmeal for breakfast...' he mumbled to himself in the suit. JARVIS tried powering more to his boosters, but it would take at least 200% more power to get the rotor moving at high speed.

From where Tony entered, a ball of flames soared in from out in the sky and appeared next to Tony. He turned his head and was shocked to see a fiery inferno next to him inside the rotor. But out from the fire came two arms that pressed against the panel in front. A face appeared and legs stretched out, all connected to a body. They were consumed in flames, yet didn't burn.

'JARVIS? What is that?' Tony questioned as he stared at the being next to him. He noticed how the rotor in front became easier to push as the thing next to him assisted him.

'I'm running tests now, sir,' JARVIS's voice said in his suit. 'It appears to be a man. A man who is amid combustion, yet is unharmed.'

The face Tony saw amongst the flames turned to him and showed eyes, a nose and a mouth. Hair could be seen on top of the man's head and Tony thought he was hallucinating when he saw the man give him a look of encouragement and friendliness. The fire that shot out from behind the man gave the same effect as Tony's boosters, allowing him to fly.

'Stark!' Director Fury's voice came from his suit. 'We're losing altitude!'

'I noticed!'

Pushing away his confusion, Tony continued to push the rotor with the help of the blazing man. The two spun around slow at first, before gaining speed as the rotors spun enough to support the left side of the helicarrier. The two soon became continuous streams of light as the rotor was back to its functioning state.

'Cap! I need that lever' Tony said into his suit.

'I need a minute here!' Steve said against the wind.

The propelling was spinning faster by the second. Tony tried not to look at the man next to him who pushed silently. He thought nothing else would be able to surprise him after seeing the file on Bruce nearly destroying a whole army on his own, but he was mistaken.

'Lever!' Tony insisted to Steve. 'Now!'

Tony looked up as the rotor in front began to get away from him, before the one behind caught up. He was suctioned back against it and the speed became too much.

'Uh oh.'

Tony fell underneath the rotor and was trapped as they spun on their own. His suit clanged against the bottom of the space as well as the rotors that scraped him around in circles. JARVIS notified him of the damages in his boots and repulsors. If he stayed in there any longer, the suit would shut down for the loss of power.

The floor suddenly opened, and Tony fell through to the sky. His repulsors had enough juice to keep in him in the air, but they glitched and were unsteady. It was enough to keep him up for a little while longer and Tony took the time to look to the ship. The helicarrier was now flying smoothly and Tony caught a stream of orange and red light fly out of the rotor and disappear behind the ship.

'JARVIS? Where'd the torch go?' Tony asked his suit as the blue square appeared on his screen in search of the man who helped.

'I'm not sure, sir. I've lost his heat signature.'

'How is that possible? The man was on fire.'

Sue headed through the halls in search of anyone she could help. She took a moment to let her energy restore after using a lot of it to keep her and Natasha safe from Bruce. She wasn't back into full power, but it would be enough for now.

From what she could tell, the commotion had died down. Workers still scurried past her to find lost files and begin the clean-up. Bruce had left quite a wreckage in his wake and whoever attacked had injured a few people. Since the danger had passed, Sue decided it that she should make her way back to the control room.

She turned corners and walked lengths, gathering information on what happened from workers as they passed. Loki was gone and whoever attacked were here to collect him. Bruce had attacked a fighter jet that tried to get him off the helicarrier as he was tearing most of it apart. Thor had fallen in the cell that once held Loki and was MIA for the time being. The one that hurt the most was the death of Agent Phil Coulson. He was found impaled by Loki's scepter and Director Fury called everyone back to the control room to be debriefed.

Sue was around the corner from the control room when she saw someone ahead. They turned the last corner before she could see their face, but they were tall and broad-shouldered. It was undoubtedly a man as the physique was shaped with a triangular base from shoulders to waist. Their hair was short and curly from what Sue caught sight of, but the most important part was the neck to foot bodysuit they wore. It was identical to hers, only in a dark blue.
