Storm sighed. It had been two years, (accidentally put days, it's supposed to be years. Sorry...) and she was beginning to get very bored.

Her brother was with her, so at least she had something to do.

"Bored?"

"Yeah."

He was chomping on a mushroom. "Well, it's not like we're getting out of here anytime soon. Want to tell stories to pass the time?"

"Sure."

"So, this one actually happened. Wolfwrath was arguing with some random demon beast, and suddenly slipped on ice from that elephant monster."

Both of them laughed.

"Oh, Storm, he finally gave me a name. It's Kalin."

Storm nodded. "Nice. I wonder why he named me after a weather pattern and gave you a normal name... Hmm."

Kalin laughed. "Quit being so serious all the time."

Storm shrugged. "Kinda can't help it."

Kalin looked out of the door. "Hey, he's coming. Hide the mushrooms, they took ages to grow back last time."

Storm went in front of the mushrooms, along with Kalin. NME looked at them, then took out Storm. "I am going to test you again. This time, it will be something different."

Storm was confused. She then sighed, knowing she would not get any answer.

Eventually, he put her down into some sort of machine.

"Stay still."

She was confused. She sat down so it would be easier to stay still. Then, she held completely still. The machine did various tests and measurements. She realized it was probably checking her health. It took a blood sample. She didn't notice.

NME looked at her. "Hm. A high pain tolerance..." He wondered if that would help or hinder him.

After a little, the machine was done. NME picked her up and put her back, putting Kalin in now.

Storm sighed. She heard a shout. "Brother? Are you okay?" She yelled.

"I'm fine, something startled me."

She sat back. After a little, Kalin was dropped back into the room. He looked fine, so she left him be. "My back hurts..." he said. Storm looked at him. 

"Ache, sting, or other?"

"All."

Storm tilted her head to the side, confused.

Kalin rubbed his back against the wall. Storm got an instinct that that was bad.

"I dont think you should do that..."

He stopped. Storm began looking for something cold. Usually it was cold enough in here that there was ice... There.

An icicle was on the ceiling. Storm hopped onto her warp star, floating up to grab the ice. She broke it off, then put it on Kalin's back.

He sighed on relief. "The stinging's gone."

"Good." Storm broke down another icicle and began to chew on it for water. Kalin chomped on a mushroom. 

"You get tired of the taste of these after a while, but at least they're nutrition."

Storm nodded. "Well, want to do anything?"

"Eh. If I could, I would break out of here."

Storm got an idea. "Remember that old store room? The one with the starships? If we can get there, we can grab some starships and escape!"

Kalin nodded. "Nice. How are we gonna get there?"

"Do you think we can break through here with our warp stars?"

Kalin thought of that. "Probably."

Storm gathered a bunch of mushrooms and put them into a scrap of cloth she found a day ago. "You ready?"

"Ready as I'll ever be." 

They got on their warp stars and crashed through the wall. Storm hopped down, catching her warp star. Kalin floated after her. They got to the storage room. Storm picked a teal starship, and Kalin picked a silver one. They got in and rode them through the halls, practicing. Then they got near wherethe demon beasts were let out.

Storm looked at Kalin and signed.

3...2...1...

They went. 

Their starships sailed through the air and out of the area. 

Demon beasts watched them leave, snarling. Some tried to attack, but Kalin and Storm managed to dodge them.

Kalin tried to steer after Storm, but his starship was hit towards a different planet and malfunctioned. Storm's warped to a different area. They wouldnt be able to see each other again until their lives drastically changed forever.
