RM.

Arnav got down and was moving out to work when Akash called out to him. Arnav stopped and turned to him and was surprised Akash was in casual outfit. Akash moved closer to him and looked him right in the eyes.

"Bhai..... Do you trust me? " He asked out of the blue and Arnav looked at him confused but nodded. "Good because I have asked Aman to cancel all of your meetings and please don't ask me why now..... You will soon understand why I did it. " Akash said and Arnav nodded.

He then called out for Hari Prakash and his brothers and asked them to call the whole family down.

Within a few seconds, they all came down. All of them with confusion on their faces and Anjali with anger and annoyance.

"Di where is you husband? " Akash asked taking everyone aback especially after what happened almost an hour ago.

"Why are you asking?..... Why you are not done with your insults and humiliation? " She asked sarcastically.

"He has left the house right? " Akash asked and Anjali frown but nodded and Akash chuckled and everyone looked at him in confusion.

"When you met him and brought him home I always had negative vibes about him and when I voiced it out I became your enemy...... When you both wanted to marry, bhai and Papa wanted a background check on him but you threw a fit and went on a hunger strike and Nani asked us to stop and we did...... After your marriage, instead of moving into his house you stayed here with the excuse that you couldn't live in his small apartment and that he was building a house which we or even you have never laid eyes on....... He traveled more than even the biggest business men.....I know he is just a small time lawyer and yet he always has one case after the other and yet still live off our hard earned money...... And yet again you were never suspicious of him?..... But today I will show you the real face of your so called beloved husband. " Akash said shocking everyone.

"Akash what do you mean by all this?..... Is Shyam deceiving us and Anjali? " Nani asked in fear remembering her daughter and the fear that Anjali will follow in her footsteps.

"She won't believe me even if I said yes...... Seeing it with her own eyes  will knock some sense into her and she will have no one to blame than herself. " Akash said looking at shocked Anjali.

"Enough Akash! "Anjali yelled at him with tears cascading down her cheeks. " I know how much you, uncle and chote don't trust him and always look down on him but accusing him of cheating is just disgusting as you, chote and uncle's thinking of him. "

"Then if you trust him so much then you have nothing to lose seeing what Akash has to show us. " Arnav said walking up to Anjali.

"Fine.... I want to see whatever you want to show me but if you are wrong..... I will leave this house with him and you will never see me again. " She threatened and limped out and the family followed and got into the car together as Akash drove out of RM.

He then remembered the shocking discovery he discovered yesterday when he was on his way to Laxmi Nagar to drop of Payal.

Flashback.

Akash was almost at the entrance of Laxmi Nagar when he spotted Shyam entering his car.

"What is Shyam doing here in Laxmi Nagar? " Akash thought but what Payal said next shocked him.

"After being the cause of my sister leaving he has the nerve to show up here again. " Payal exclaimed in anger and Akash looked at her in shock seeing her gaze on Shyam's moving car.

"Payal..... Do you know that man? " He asked and the reply he got form Payal sent shivers down his spine.

"Yes..... He is Shyam Manohar Jha, the man who save Khushi and our paying guest...... That man has been pressuring buaji to marry Khushi..... I don't know why but I don't trust him..... There is this aura of deceit I feel each time he is around. " Payal said and turned to Akash and was shocked to see his state. "Akash...... Are you alright? "

"That man is the husband of di. " Akash revealed and Payal gasped in shock. "That bastard has been double timing both families..... How dare he. " Akash exclaimed in anger as he held the steering wheel in a tight grip.

"Hey devil maiya...... My baby sister almost got trapped by that man.... I was right to be suspicious of him.... He would have made Khushi his mistress. " Payal said.

"We have to tell your family...... He is going back to RM and that is a good thing. "

He drove to the house and both rushed in to find Shashi, Garima and Madhumati looking at them in confusion.

Payal angrily marched up to Madhumati and slapped her twice shocking everyone.

Madhumati held her abused cheek and looked up in shock seeing a fuming Payal.

"Because of you my baby sister almost became a mistress..... If you have succeeded in marrying her off to that swine then Khushi would have been a mistress and she would have been branded a home wrecker because of you. " Payal bellowed making Madhumati flinch in shock.

Garima moved closer to her.

"Payal what are you talking about? "

"The man you both were forcing Khushi to marry is my brother in law.... He is the husband of Anjali. " Akash exclaimed in anger at Madhumati and Garima who slammed onto the chair in shock.

Shashi started making gibberish sound and breathing heavily and Payal and Akash moved closer to him.

"Babuji..... What wrong?..... Are you okay? " Payal asked frantically and Akash smart brain immediately realized he knew.

"You found out about him right? " Akash asked and Shashi smiled and turned his gaze to a book and pen on the center table.

Payal immediately took it and handed him the pen knowing he want to tell them something.

Shashi with much difficulty wrote down something even though it took him quite a while and lot of effort for to finish it and he was drain after writing.

Akash and Payal read it and was shocked to their core.

"You found out about him and when you tried to expose him he tried to kill you which lead to your stroke and he also tried to kill you at the hospital. " Akash said and Shashi nodded with a smile of satisfaction.

"Hey Nandakishore..... What have I done?..... I almost trapped our titaliya." Madhumati cried.

"We have to expose him now...... Akash we have to tell your family now. " Payal said to Akash.

"You are absolutely right but Nani, maa and especially Anjali won't believe us if we tell them now..... We have to make him confess with Anjali around...... She is so blind in his love that she doesn't see anything but him........ I will have a police friend of mine came here early in the morning and take your statements before the sun rises....... If only there was a CCTV camera to proof he tried to kill your father...... But without it and your father's condition..... He will get away with attempted murder." Akash voiced out in frustration.

They were all in deep thought when a banging on the door broke their reverie and also startled them.

Payal went to open the door and in entered Amrita one of their neighbors and grandmother of Atul.

She rushed to Shyam's room and back to them.

"Thank God he is not here. " Amrita said as she poured herself a cup of water which was on the center table and drank it all in one gulp.

"Amritaji..... Who are you talking about? " Garima asked in confusion.

"That man is a monster..... I saw him leaving the neighborhood and immediately rushed here to show all of you something." She said and removed a small laptop from her satchel and also a pen drive which she inserted into the slot and scrolled through it for sometime and showed them a video.

It was the video of Shyam attempting to kill Shashi and they were all shocked.

"How did you get this? " Akash asked in a mixed emotions of shock and happiness.

"After my son and daughter in law's death..... My grandson Atul was depressed and since  he loved taking videos all the time the therapist suggested him to continue and it helped him..... I was looking through all the videos on his camcorder to compile it on the pen drive when I came across this video and immediately rushed here to show it but saw Shyam on the way and stopped until I saw him leave and rushed here. " Amrita replied and Akash thanked her and Payal told her who he was and how he is related to Akash. "Hey devi maiya..... That bastard was about to turn our angel into a villian in the eyes of society..... All this is your fault. " She said looking at a remorseful Madhumati and Garima. "Good that Khushi never gave in and am happy she went away from here. " Amrita concluded looking at the duo in disgust.

"We need a plan to expose him......" Akash said and turned to Amrita. "Amritaji.... I want you to gather all the neighbors who know about Shyam tomorrow and wait for my signal...... My sister is blind in his love and won't believe my words but seeing him exposed by you all will make her see reality." Amrita nodded and Akash turned to Payal. "Am sure tomorrow he will be here and when he comes pretend you don't know about him and send me a message immediately he comes here but make sure you keep him here until I arrive with Anjali...... I have to get a copy and send it to my police friend..... They will also be here on time to arrest Shyam after he is exposed....... We all better go home and but tomorrow we end Shyam Manohar Jha. " Akash voiced out in determination.

Amrita then used a USP cord and sent a copy of the video to Akash's phone and gave the pen drive to Payal and went back home to prepare for tomorrow.

Payal and Akash took Shashi to his room and helped him to his bed and Akash then took his leave.

Flashback ends.

Akash's car entered Laxmi Nagar which confused everyone but they kept quiet.

Akash parked a few steps away from Gupta house and sent a message and after he was done he asked them to get down.

"Akash...... What are we doing here? " Anjali asked annoyed and Akash turned to her.

"Patient di...... You are about to see the real face of you so called godlike husband. " Akash replied with his voice laced with mockery.

They moved to the entrance of the house but were shocked when they heard a voice they were all too familiar with and what he said next shocked them all especially Anjali.

"Payal.....Stop apologizing to me...... You know I love Khushi with all my heart and I know her leaving hurt all of you and it also broke my heart...... I fell in love with Khushi when I rescued her from those goons...... And I understand your rudeness towards me was because you were hurting...... I am expecting some money but tomorrow and I will hire the best detectives to find my Khushi....... I know Khushi doesn't love me but I know I will definitely win her love after our marriage and don't worry Payal..... I won't take any dowry before and after our marriage..... And one more thing..... It's good you and Akash broke up..... Don't let those people any where closer to you and don't speak to them again. " Shyam said and Payal nodded with a smile on her face.

"Thank you so much Shyamji..... I will take your advice..... But then don't get me wrong...... I have to let my friend do a background check on you just for safety reasons.... After all am giving you my life...... Khushi will always be my first child no matter how many kids I have....... And a mother will do anything for her child. " Payal uttered innocently and Shyam stood there shocked at her words.

"There is no need for that Payal...... I have nothing to hide from you and this family. " Shyam said trying to sound calm but was a nervous wreck within.

"Then there is no reason for you to worry or are you afraid we will find something shady about you? " Payal said taking steps towards Shyam who started moving backwards but his back hit a muscular body and he turned around to find out it was a fuming Arnav with a neutral Akash standing at the door.

Shyam moved backwards and Arnav and Akash moved away from each other revealing a crying Anjali being supported by a crying Nani and Mami and Manohar with blood shot eyes and clenched jaws and a scowl.

"Sacred we might have found out you were Anjali's husband right. " Payal said breaking his reverie and he turned to the Guptas to find them looking at him in disgust and he immediately knew it was trap and he fell into it.

He moved towards Anjali but Arnav welcomed him with a punch and he fell to the ground with a bleeding nose.

He stood up and kneeled.

"Rani saheba.... Don't believe them.... Khushi trapped me and they are making it look like I am the culprit..... I just did this to save Akash and reveal the true face of the Guptas. " Shyam said.

Arnav punched him again and was about to bounce on him but Akash held him back.

Anjali moved away from Nani and Mami and moved to Shyam who wiped his bleeding nose and looked at Anjali and she slapped him.

Shyam held his abused cheek and stared back at a crying Anjali in anger.

"I loved you and gave you everything you asked for and you go behind my back and do this..... Why Shyam?..... Why did you do this to me? " Cried Anjali who held her by his collar and shook him vigorously.

Shyam yanked her hand off which shocked Anjali.

"Just shut up and stop playing the victim and by the way you gave me nothing...... You just wanted a man you can control and it was me and about giving me everything, don't forget you are nothing without your brothers and uncle's money..... No man in his right man will want a manipulative, vindicative and self-centered woman like except a man after money like me. " Shyam yelled and Anjali gasped in shock as tears cascaded down her cheeks.

Nani moved forward and slapped Shyam.

"Don't you dare speak about my granddaughter like that? She exclaimed in anger.

" And what wrong did I say huh!?.... You raised her to be a weak woman and she herself knew it and to make herself fell superior, she used her mother's suicide and her limp against all of you..... She makes me sick..... She is selfish and even at her age she is still playing princess and tiaras..... She is the sister of two billionaires and a niece of another billionaire and she still a limp...... Open your eyes Nani...... She didn't go in for a surgery to make her walk well and do you know why?....
She did it because loosing her limp will make her lose the pity you all had for her and she feasto on it.... She is literally the most useless woman on earth. " Shyam uttered in disgust.

Even though Shyam was wrong they all did agreed to some of the things he said.

"Why Khushi!? " Anjali whispered.

And Shyam smirked and marched up to her.

"Because she is everything you will never be in a million life cycle....... And she will be mine. " Shyam replied not knowing he is about to lose his freedom.
