In a motel on the outskirts of Delhi, Garima was pacing back and forth not knowing what to do.

She sat on her bed in frustration as everything was going wrong.

First she went out to buy some food when she happened to see Adarsh at the restaurant and as if her day couldn't get worse, it did because in the process of running away from Adarsh her purse with all her money fell out of her bag and she only found out after she got to her motel room.

"Am trapped from all sides..... I can't ask Shashi for money because he was already suspicious of me suddenly leaving and asking for money will even make it worse and he will definitely refuse. " Garima thought and someone knocked on the door jerking and scaring her out of her thought.

She cautiously moved to the door and opened it only to find the cleaning lady there but she dismissed her and went to sit on her bed thinking of her next move and remembering the past

Flashback.

After the confrontation and the sudden attack of Mouni, Garima knew she was done for and the Guptas will definitely kill her so she packed up everything and left the country immediately to India.

After settling in India for a few days she saw the news of the death of Mouni Gupta and knew better not to show her face anywhere.

For ten years she laid low jumping from one relationship to the other with rich married men which all ended in break ups until she moved to Lucknow after she depleted all her savings.

She was on her way one day to buy sweets from a shop to distribute at the temple when she saw a shocking scene.

In front of the shop was her love Aahan and she rushed up to him but halted when a little girl shouted papa.

Aahan picked her up and tossed her into the air and caught her again making the girl giggle and after a few seconds  Shreya showed up and Garima immediately knew she was their daughter.

She left there and back home in tears and cried for hours and finally stood up with a menacing look in her eyes.

"You are no longer mine Aahan and if I can't have you them no one will...... And for that you have to die. " Garima said and started stalking the family until she found the perfect opportunity to make Aahan and Shreya pay.

It was Shreya's birthday and Aahan had planned a surprise birthday party for her and to distract her,he took them out on the pretense of buying ice cream.

Garima seizing the opportunity sneaked into their house and tampered with the brakes and run away.

She waited to hear the news she wanted to hear and after two hours the death of Shreya and Aahan spread like wildfire in the neighborhood but what she didn't anticipate was that Khushi will survive.

She like everyone mourned them but was angry Khushi survived.

A few days after the funeral she heard a knock on her door and went to open it and panicked seeing a police man in front of her.

She composed herself and left him in and offered him a drink but her refused.

"What can I help you with? " She asked confidently even though she was a wreck inside.

The police man smiled and looked at the VCR under the television and said.

"Does it work? " He asked and Garima nodded and he stood up and turned it on and pulled out a cassette and inserted it and the video that played shocked Garima.

It was a CCTV footage of her tempering with the car of Aahan and she looked up shocked at the policeman who was smirking.

"Don't be frightened...... Am actually here to thank you for getting rid of the biggest pain in my neck. " Garima looked to him shocked and confused. "You see before Aahan came I was the boss and became very rich taking bribes but I had to stop because of him and now with him dead I can have his position and go back to my previous life...... And I have you to thank...... So don't worry...... Your secret is safe with me....... But then why did you kill them. " He asked as he took the cassette out of the VCR.

"He choose Shreya over me. " Garima replied and he nodded think a rejected love gone crazy.

"Well I will leave now....... And thank you for getting rid of him for me..... And don't worry...... I will destroy the evidence and rule it out as an accident. " The man said and he took his leave making Garima sigh in relief.

For the next few days after that she saw how the Gupta did everything to make Khushi happy after the funeral of her parent. So she planned on making Khushi's life a living hell and to do that she started by becoming the nanny to Payal and Khushi and pretended to be the perfect nanny and the girls loved her.

Seeing how good she was with the girls Madhumati forced his brother to marry her and she started turning Shashi and Payal against Khushi but failed miserably and so turned her attention on Madhumati and successfully brainwashed her against Khushi but Shashi was always there to defend her.

She trapped Payal in many accidents and blamed Khushi for it, paid neighbors to call Khushi a bad omen and caused Shashi to loose a lot of money and made sure to pin it on Khushi but father and daughter never left Khushi's side or blamed her but Madhumati did.

For years she and Madhumati didn't leave any stone unturned to blame for every bad thing.

She was so happy seeing Khushi break after they moved away from them.

And took this opportunity to demean Khushi but for the first time in many years Madhumati scolded her for painting Khushi black and she was shocked.

Ever since then Madhumati and Shashi stayed away from her and Payal also never wanted her near Khushi.

Flashback ends.

"Everything is falling apart and it's all because of you Khushi...... I have to do something to get rid of her for good .... You always wanted to join your parent and I will definitely fulfill that wish for you. " Garima said with an evil smirk.

Delhi Police Station.

Aditya was signing some papers when  Tanu entered and he looked up at her.

"Sir..... They are some people here to see you...... They are actually here from our Lucknow department. " Tanya said and Aditya asked her to let them in.

They entered and he asked them to sit down.

"How may I help you Suresh? " He asked.

"Am here to arrest someone for murder and I need your help doing so. " Suresh one of the most respected  police head and a friend of Aditya said and handed him a file and he was shocked reading it. "This woman, years ago murder one of our very own Aahan Gupta and the former head of our department Anant Grover covered it up because he wanted his position...... He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a year ago and decided to confess and handed us the evidence which is on this tape. " He took out a cassette and placed it on the desk. " We need your help to arrest because she and her family moved out a long time ago and we are scared she will hurt the the daughter of the former chief because she is married to the friend who adopted the chief's daughter. " Suresh said and looked at his friend who looked sad and he asked. "Aditya is something wrong? "

"I know the family and the former chief's daughter is the wife of ASR and the sister in law of our good friend Akash. " Aditya revealed shocking Suresh and went ahead and told him about Anjali. "They already have a lot to deal with and now this....... Let go...... The sooner we caught and punish her the better."

Aditya stood up and asked them to follow him.

He called Tanu and some of his men and women and they moved to RM.

RM.

The family had just had their lunch and the were sitting Arnav and Khushi when the door bell rang and HP went to open it and in came panting frantically confusing some and angering some.

"What are you doing here Adarsh?...... Didn't I ask you to stay away from Khushi last night. " Manoj yelled shocking all of them with the exception of Surbhi who knew of his conversation with Adarsh.

But Adarsh didn't look at hai cousin but was staring at Khushi who was looking at him with hate which hurt him because for the past five years he has been used to seeing admiration in her eyes.

"Am sorry for everything Khushi. " Moving towards Khushi but Arnav stood in front of Khushi blocking him and he moved back with hurt. " I am really sorry...... And I didn't come her to bother you but come here for three reasons and one is to give you this. " Adarsh said handed Arnav a file. " And congratulate you on your marriage."

Arnav then read it and was shocked by it content.

"Bhai what is it? " Akash asked Arnav.

"He has given everything he owns to Khushi including the design company. " Arnav answered and this shocked everyone.

"Please Khushi don't reject it ...... It's rightfully yours." Adarsh said looking at Khushi.

"And the third? " Khushi asked finally finding her voice and his jaw clench in anger and turned and looked at Shashi confusing everyone.

"Am here for your wife Mr Gupta. " Adarsh said.

"Why? " Shashi asked.

"Your wife was the reason why I did what I did..... Her deceit lead me into hurting my family and she has to be punished for that. " Adarsh revealed shocking everyone.

"Wait..... You mean Garima Mehta is the wife of Shashiji. " Manoj asked and Adarsh nodded.

This shocked everyone and Shashi slammed back on the couch in shock.

"Hey Nandkishore...... She knew you. " Madhumati exclaimed in shock and realization while pointing at Manoj. "That's why she lied a friend needed her and left right after we came her. "

Adarsh was shocked hearing this and was made she escaped.

He took out his phone and called his PI and asked him to look for Garima immediately.

Everyone turned to Khushi who was crying and it hurt everyone especially Arnav seeing her like this.

And Arnav lifted her head by her chin and she looked up at him.

"I called her Amma...... I betrayed my parent by calling her Amma..... I betrayed them Arnav..... I am a horrible daughter. " Khushi cried and hugged Arnav and she stroked her back to calm her down.

"My love...... You didn't know and therefore you didn't betray them...... You are too pure to betray anyone left alone your parent...... In fact none of you are. " Arnav said seeing the guilt in the eyes of the Guptas.

After he was done Aditya and Suresh entered surprising Akash who moved closer and hugged Suresh.

"Akash..... Who is he? " Payal asked.

"He is Suresh Khanna my college classmate and a friend. " Akash replied with a smile looking at his wife and back to his friends. "But what are you doing here? " Akash asked.

Nani and Mami gulped in fear thinking they have been caught or they were here to tell them of Anjali's death.

Aditya and Suresh sighed and looked at the family and turned to Shashi.

"We are here to arrest Mrs Garima Gupta. " Suresh replied shocking everyone and were wondering what she did.

"What for? " Shashi asked.

"Eighteen years ago she tampered with the car of a couple which lead to their death and ." This shocked everyone and they immediately knew it was Khushi's parent. "You know them Mr Gupta..... They are the parent of your daughter Khushi and your friends Mr and Mrs Aahan Gupta. "

The women burst into tears hearing this and Shashi looked numb with guilt for inviting the devil into their lives and home.

Khushi lost consciousness after hearing this and luckily Arnav was closer to her and held her before she hit the ground.

He took her upstairs and called for a doctor who checked her and gave her an injection to regulate her high blood pressure.

After he was done, the family moved down after Arnav gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Suresh then explained how their former chief covered it up and made it look like an accident because he wanted the position of Khushi's father and how he confessed and handed them the evidence after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died shortly after that.

Madhumati was cursing herself for forcing her brother to marry Garima.

Payal stood up and faced her aunt in anger.

"Are you happy now buaji. " Payal yelled at a crying Madhumati who looked down in shame and regret. "Papa didn't want to marry her but you forced him and brought her into our lives...... This is all you fault. " Payal accused and Akash stood up and held a shaking and crying Payal. "Akash...... She will blame herself....... She won't forgive herself easily for giving her a mother title...... I know her better than anyone....... Why?....... Why always her?...... Why is God punishing an innocent soul like her?....... Can't she be totally happy for once without any trouble popping up to ruin her happiness...... Why? " Payal cried in the arms of her husband and Arnav was so mad that his veins could pop out any moment soon.

The phone of Shashi rang breaking their reverie and Shashi looked at it to find the name of Garima displayed on the screen.

"It's Garima." He revealed and Suresh asked him to answer and find a way to make them meet if possible and Shashi nodded and put the phone on loud speaker and warned everyone to be quiet.

"Hello Garima. "

"Thank God you picked...... Am sorry to bother you Shashi but the money I have on me has been used to pay for my friend's medical pills since her family has abandoned her and she had no one but me..... Please can you send me some money. " Garima said in a sickly sweet voice making everyone gag at her fakery.

"Okay........ What time can you meet me at Laxmi Nagar? " Shashi asked and Aditya and Suresh have him a thumbs up for it.

"I can meet you in thirty minutes.... And please hurry up because I need the money immediately and urgently. " Garima replied.

"Okay I will be leaving now.... So see you soon. " Shashi said and then cut the call.

"You did good Mr Gupta...... I will call some of my men to look out for her...... We have to go now. " Aditya said and he and all the men left and left the women behind to take care of Khushi.

Arnav entered his car with Akash and Manoj while Shashi rode with the police.

"You will pay dearly for this Garima Gupta...... I will make you suffer for making my Khushi suffer. " Arnav thought as he drove.
