Arnav and the family got back he after their wonderful breakfast get together only to find a group of women and Aditya waiting for them with a nervous Mami and Nani.

One of the women moved over to Aarav who was holding Khushi's hand and kneeled to his level making Aarav frown.

"How are you dear? " The woman asked but Aarav frown and refused to answer and hid behind Khushi.

"Aru." Khushi called out and he looked up with a smile. "Answer her. "

"Am fine. " Aarav replied to the woman with a frown on his face.

"Who are you and what do you want? " Arnav asked even though he knew who they were.

Mr Roy had warned them not to feel nervous or hint they know they will arrive.

"Arnav they are here to. " Nani paused looking at Aarav who looked so confused seeing Nani's gaze on him.

Khushi kneeled to Aarav's level and smiled at him.

"Aru...... Why don't you and Khushav and Hari Prakash go to your play room and play..... We need to have an adult talk with these women..... Okay. " Khushi said and Aarav nodded with a smile and left with HP and Khushav after giving Khushi a loud kiss on the cheek making everyone smile.

After they disappeared, Khushi turned to them and asked who they were.

"Am Nandini Sinha from child welfare and these are my colleagues Aditi Singh and Soha Kapoor and we are here to take the boy. " Nandini replied but gulped seeing the murderous look being thrown at her by all of them.

"And why exactly do you want to take my son away from me? " Arnav asked calmly but coldly.

"Listen Mr Raizada..... Your sister committed a serious crime and according to her you made her buy the boy...... We don't know why you did that but it's our responsibility to ensure he is safe and being cared for properly and not being abused. " Soha answered.

"How dare you? " Arnav bellowed making them flinch. "You will take the words of that lunatic seriously and think am abusing my son...... I and my wife love him unconditionally and that lunatic wanted to use him to hurt me and she failed..... But instead of doing a proper investigation..... You are here insinuating bullshit...... Now get out of my house before I have your arrested for defamation. " Arnav concluded pointing to the door and the women were shocked hearing he is married and scared seeing the murderous glint in his eyes.

"We are sorry Mr Raizada....... We should have done our investigation before approaching you.... But still we will have to observe all of you around the boy and his relationship with your wife...... Two observers will be here in two days to evaluate your relationship with him..... If we find out in any way he is not comfortable or not happy...... We will definitely take him away and nothing can stop us not even you and your contacts. " Aditi said and they all nodded knowing this was coming.

The women then moved out with Aditya who mouth a sorry to them.

"Hey Nandkishore..... How can a sister be this evil towards he own brother especially one that took care and provided her everything she needs. " Madhumati exclaimed in shock as all of them sat down.

"Only a Anjali will do that...... She is a danger not only to this family but to society. " Surbhi replied and everyone agreed with her.

Arnav sighed hearing all this but he felt strange not feeling hurt as he thought he will be and he knew the presence for Khushi had something to do with it.

He turned to Nani and Mami who were lost in thought and were behaving strange but he shrugged it off not interested in what's bothering them.

"Nani..... Mami..... Guys. " He called softly out startling them and breaking their reverie.

They looked at Arnav confused and shocked.

"I want all of us to pretend we are a complete big happy family which we are but if the find out your two have been outcasted from the family then we can lose our son and I don't want that so please...... We will have to pretend in front of them" Arnav said and all of them nodded and so did Nani and Mami who was hurt but didn't want to cause anymore pain for Arnav.

"But be warned..... I don't want you two crossing your limit. " Akash warned and they nodded.

Nani excused herself saying she was tired and needed to sleep.

Mami accompanied her and everyone knew something was wrong because of their weird behavior.

"Am I the only who thinks they are behaving very weirdly? " Preeto asked no one in particular.

"You are absolutely right..... I also noticed it but whatever it is they better not be planning on helping that witch or else no one would save them from what I will do to them. " Arnav replied in anger and Khushi rubbed his back to calm him down and an immediate silence engulfed the hall.

"Well now that you two are now married you have the permission to do all the naughty stuffs married people do. " Surbhi teased wiggling her eyebrows at Arnav and Khushi who looked shocked and embarrassed and they others burst out in laughter seeing their shocked state.

Arnav held Khushi's hand and dragged her away as the family hotted in joy and laughter.

"Am going to make some snacks does anyone want some. " Lavanya asked and everyone nodded.

"Let me help you with it. " Preeto said and followed her.

Manoj and Surbhi smiled and looked at each seeing their son smiling as Lavanya left.

"You like her right? " Manoj asked breaking his reverie and he sighed and scratched the back of his head.

"I don't know Dad..... But I feel so at peace when I see her but her past with the family is making me think twice about falling for her. " Nk confessed and Aman who was sitting beside him placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Nk..... You have every right to feel that way...... But the Lavanya I observed in the last seventy hours is not the Lavanya I knew before...... When she arrived with you guys the other day and Arnav told me what she was doing with you I was also suspicious of her until something happened. " Aman said and remembered what he had seen and heard that day.

Flashback.

Aman was shocked hearing Nk was married to Lavanya and the circumstances surrounding their marriage.

He was on his way to get some water from the cafeteria when he heard voices and moved closer to the source.

"Well..... Well.... Well..... Look who we have here..... The great Lavanya Kashyap...... You are so shameless showing your face here after ASR fired you..... That day was the best day of my entire life but here you are again. " One girl said with disgust.

"Am really sorry Anita. " Lavanya apologized shocking all of them with their jaws hanging. "But trust me..... I have changed and that Lavanya you all knew is dead and gone and paid dearly for her mistakes...... I don't expect you guys to believe me....... It took me a while to realize I was living a horrible life..... What can I do to make you guys for give me. " Lavanya asked.

One of the girls smirked seeing a perfect opportunity to humiliate Lavanya and she took off her heels and gave it to a confused Lavanya.

"Lick the it clean. " She said shocking Lavanya and she was about to do it shocking all of them.

Her tongue nearly touched the heels when Aman yelled.

"Enough."

Everyone looked shocked seeing him and he moved closer and took the heels form her and threw it on the floor.

The girls knew better not to provoke the right hand man of Arnav and Akash and so they ran out of there leaving the two of them.

"Are you stupid!?..... They asked you to do it so you did it?. " Aman yelled at her and she smiled shocking him.

"If this is what it takes for them to forgive me then so be it...... I have hurt a lot of them in my arrogance and ignorance..... So if licking their shoes will make them forgive me then so be it. " Lavanya said and walked away shocking Aman.

Flashback ends.

They were all shocked hearing this but were also mad at the girls for going top far.

"That day was the first time I saw sincerity in her eyes..... If you like Lavanya then go ahead but be warned for a heartbreak because changed people like her think they don't deserve love and she won't make it easy for you if you ever confess to her...... For her to believe she deserves love you have to show it to her...... And if you are not ready to overlook her past then don't try to pursue her but if you are ready then you will have a lot of convincing to do. " Aman said and Nk knw he was right.

"Aman is absolutely right..... I also didn't like her after finding out what she did to my Khushi but I can see she had changed and deserves a good family and a great love. " Shashi said  but Nk was still skeptical.

"But her past..... I don't know. " Nk voiced out.

"We all have a past my son...... But don't let it pull you back..... And I know your brothers love you and will want your happiness even if it's with Lavanya. " Surbhi said and Nk nodded and promised to think about it.

Immediately he was done, Preeto and Lavanya came with the snacks and sat down as they all digged into it.

Nani's Room.

Mami helped Nani sit on the bed with her head on the headrest.

She then fetched her medicine and made her drink it and sat beside her and looked at her as she looked at Mami.

"I know you are judging me for what I did. " Nani voiced out and Mami shook her head.

"I am not judging you but surprised by what you did because for years it was always about Anjali and no one else..... And now you are willing to kill Anjali. " Mami said.

"I have to especially with what she was planning on doing...... She will be a nuisance in the life of Arnav's happiness and I need to right the wrong I did by always favoring her and the only is for her to die. " Nani said without remorse and Mami sighed remembering their encounter with Anjali at the police station.

Flashback.

Nani and Mami went to the police station immediately Arnav and the others left and when they got there they were refused but Aditya let them in after a lot of begging.

"You have only ten minutes." Aditya said to them and left them at the entrance to the cell where Anjali was being held.

They moved towards it only to find all of the cell empty and they moved closer to find Anjali sitting on the floor with a blank look on her face.

"Anjali." Nani called out and she looked up and stood up and moved closer to them.

"My beloved Nani is finally her to see me after letting me the Raizada princess sleep on this cold floor with those bloody mosquitoes sucking my blood. " She said coldly not exhibiting any remorse. "I hope you are here to get me out with chote's help...... Now call them to open the door so that I can leave. " Anjali said nonchalantly.

Nani was finally seeing the monster she created because of her biased nature and she was regretting it immensely.

"We are not here to let them let you out..... In fact you are not coming out..... You will face the punishment for your crimes and not except anything from anyone of us. " Nani said looking at a shocked Anjali in disgust.

That shock turned into anger seeing the determination in Nani's eyes and she moved closer to Nani and grabbed her by the neck and started strangling her.

Mami moved closer and used all her force and yanked Nani away from her and Nani was gasping for air.

"You better tell Arnav to get me out or else I will destroy him...... You know how manipulative I can be and it's all thanks to you Nani...... Either get me out of here or else I will make everyone believe Arnav was the one who made me do it and when I threatened to expose him he cut me off and I start working to earn my own money which he stole from me because he found out I was  planning on hiring a legal team to take Aarav away from him and with my limp and a little bit of tears...... He will be done for. " Anjali said with a smirk shocking both of them. "You have until tomorrow to let him know what am capable of or else I will call the media and tell them my fabricated story and he will lose everything."

"I will let him know..... Please don't hurt my chote. " Nani cried begging and Mami looked at a smirking Anjali with disgust

"Good... Now did you bring my medicine. " She asked but Nani shook her head no. "Hop to it and get me my medicine and some good food.... And don't forget to relay my message to chote. " Anjali said with a victorious smile on her face.

Nani and Mami left there and into the car and asked the driver to drive to the next pharmacy as she checked something on her phone which shocked Mami who thought they were going home to get her medicines.

"Sasuma..... Why are we going to buy her another medicine when she has some at home?" Mami asked.

"You will find out very soon. " Nani replied in a cold voice sending chills down Mami's spine hearing the coldness in her voice.

They got to the pharmacy and Nani bought Anjali's medicine and another one which Mami didn't know what it was for.

"Am sorry ma'am..... I can't give you this medicine because mixing it with this one would stop the heart beat of the person. " The cashier said and Mami looked shocked finally realizing what Nani was about to do.

"Don't worry dear..... They are for different people. " Nani said with the most irresistible smile and the cashier nodded.

"Okay.. " She replied and gave Nani the medicines after payment.

Nani asked for the washroom and she was directed the washroom.

She immediately lock the door and checked if no one was there before proceeding to mixing the medicines together.

"Sasuma..... Please don't do this. " Mami cried out not for Anjali but for Nani's safety.

"I have to..... For my chote..... I have to kill that Malik monster..... I have to correct my mistakes..... And it starts with her death...... Don't worry.... I have researched and one will suspect anything since it will look like an overdose. " Nani said and Mami had no other choice than to help her.

After they were done, they left and bought her some food and took it to the police station.

Anjali smiled seeing the food and gulped it down like she hasn't eaten in weeks.

After she was done, she took her medicines and looked up at Nani and Mami.

"Thank you for the food and my medicine..... I hope you told chote my message. " Anjali asked.

"Yes I did...... Mr Roy is not in town at the moment...... He will arrive tonight and will come to see you tomorrow morning to start the process to get you out. " Nani said with her head bowed.

"Okay..... You can leave now and take the medicine with you. " She said and Nani and Mami took it and moved out of the police station.

"I swear to you....... Only your dead body will leave here. " Nani vowed as the left.

Flashback ends.

"Do you regret helping me. " Nani asked breaking her reverie and she smiled and shook her head no.

"We did right...... We both failed in our duties and Akash loves Arnav more like a brother than a cousin and if anything happens to Arnav then it will affect Akash and I won't stand for that......" Mami said sincerely.
