Arnav and the others entered after dropping Aarav and Khushav with the nanny only for Aman to rush up to them panting.

"There you are..... I've been calling for over an hour now. " Aman said and Arnav took out his phone from his pocket to see twenty missed calls from him and the silent notification symbol at the top right of his phone.

"I might have put my phone on silence by accident. " Arnav said and frown afterwards. "Why we're you constantly calling me?..... Why did something happen to Khushi? " Arnav asked in a panic tone but Aman shook his head.

"No Khushi is alright..... She and Preeto went to the textile warehouse to choose some samples for their designs but that's not why I called you...... Mr Gupta and his friend Happy has been waiting for you and Akash for the past one hour. " Aman revealed surprising them.

And Arnav and the others quickly entered the conference room where Shashi was waiting with Happy.

Shashi was introduced to the others but frown for a moment seeing Lavanya but he shrugged it off because he had a more important reason for being here.

A worried Payal asked him what he was doing here and why didn't he come home.

"Am sorry dear...... You know I don't like coming to RM because of Anjali." Shashi said and they all understood because after so many years Shashi can't forgive Anjali who want she did and Payal sighed. "There is a reason I come here today but am sad Khushi is not here but I have to ask Arnav and Aka..... " Shashi paused seeing the others.

Arnav and Akash saw the doubt in his eyes.

"Don't worry uncle..... They are our well wishers. " Arnav said and Shashi smiled and nodded.

He then proceeded to tell them about what Happy told him last night with Happy elaborating all the details.

Everyone panicked hearing Khushi had a stalker after her especially Arnav.

A silence immediately engulfed the room which was broken by Khushi entering the conference hall and she want straight to her father.

After returning from the warehouse she was told by Aman that her father was here but stop midway seeing the new faces, Lavanya and their worried expression.

Khushi was introduced to Nk and his parent and Lavanya was introduced as his assistant.

Khushi then turned to her father and asked what he was doing here.

She was asked to sit as Shashi revealed everything to here.

"Since we don't know who the person is I turned to Arnav and Akash and I know both won't fail when it comes to protecting you." Shashi said and Khushi sat there numb with fear and shock.

"Papa..... Why will someone stalk me or want information about me?...... I just arrived. " Khushi said still in shock that she was being stalked.

Arnav moved closer to her sensing her fear and kneeled and held her hand surprising some and making others smile.

"Khushi...... Don't worry...... I will protect you. " Arnav said sincerely and Khushi nodded and he stood up facing the others. "We don't know if this person is only after Khushi or the whole family..... Therefore Khushi and Preeto will stay with us at RM and will have twenty four hours protection everywhere they go." Arnav said and Khushi knew better not to argue with him because they situation seems serious.

"I also want you and your family under the same roof as us and please don't say no. " Akash said to Shashi who was about to retort but Akash stopped him. "Please papa.... You staying with us will make your daughters have peace of mind knowing you are closer to them..... If not for anyone, do it for your daughters. " Akash begged and Shashi looked at the worry on the faces of Khushi and Payal and nodded in agreement.

So Akash called home and asked Hari Prakash and his brothers to make room ready for them but must be discreet about it.

Arnav called his best PI to investigate this and asked Happy to keep an eye out for the man.

They all went back to work even though they all were agitated and worried.

The day went by slowly as Manoj and Surbhi took the kids home early.

Arnav and the other also closed early to prepare to leave to RM.

Even though Arnav was worried about Khushi, he was also excited that Khushi will be closer to him at work and at home.

Back at RM, Anjali returned from work to find the Prakash brothers and some of the workers moving back and forth but cared less because she was pissed off.

She went to her room and took out her phone and called the number she has been calling since morning again but still the number wouldn't connect and it pissed her off and she threw the phone away in anger and slammed on the bed.

"I swear if those stupid people have ghosted me than I wouldn't spare them. " She fumed in anger and left to the bathroom to freshen up since it will be lunch soon.

After she was done she got down to and was surprised to find Manoj and Surbhi playing with Aarav and Khushav in that hall.

And Mami and Nani sitting on the couch smiling at them while sipping on their tea.

Nani was the first to see Anjali and was surprised to see her here at this time of the day.

"Anjali." She called out breaking everyone's reverie. "Why are you here by this time of the day?..... Did you go to work.? " She asked as he she placed the tea cup on the center table.

Anjali moved closer and sat opposite them.

"I did go but I wasn't feeling will and come back home. " Anjali replied nonchalantly making Mami and the others roll their eyes at her and Nani shook her head in disappointment.

Manoj and Surbhi went back to playing with the boys when Aarav saw his father come in and stood up and run up to him.

He hugged him but the waist and Arnav broke the hug.

Khushi who arrived with Arnav smiled seeing the bound between them.

"Guess who is here. " Arnav said and  Aarav frown but followed his father's gaze and gasped seeing Khushi and looked back at his father with his mouth wide open and Arnav laughed.

Aarav didn't think twice and rushed and hugged Khushi who hugged him back.

"Mummy..... Am so happy to see you here. "Aarav exclaimed in happiness and broke the hug.

Khushi then picked him up and placed him on her waist.

" Guess what? " Arnav said and Aarav looked at his father.

"What Papa? " Aarav enquired adorably.

"Khushi is here to stay with us
" Arnav revealed and Aarav gasped but squealed afterwards and hugged Khushi by the neck.

"Mummy is that true? " Aarav asked Khushi and she nodded with a smile. "Thank Papa for bringing mummy home..... Now we will all be one big happy family. " Aarav said and Arnav and Khushi smiled looking at each other.

Nani, Mami and Anjali stood in shock hearing this and most shocking was that Aarav was calling Khushi his mother.

Anjali was so numb with confusion and had no idea what was going on.

She cursed herself for failing at her plan to make Khushi reject Arnav but seeing Arnav and Khushi smiling she knew her plan had failed but she wasn't going to give up because now with Khushi closer she will have more opportunity to use Khushi against Arnav and Arnav against Khushi.

"Hello hi bye bye..... Phati saree... Going to live here. " Mami exclaimed in as if in a trance and Arnav turned and glared at her making her gulp seeing the rage in his eyes.

Khushi and the others shook their head at her unchanged character of calling people names.

Arnav marched up to her making her gulp in fear seeing the murderous look in his eyes.

"Her name is Khushi..... Don't you ever call her that ridiculous name ever again..... And yes but not only her but the Guptas are also coming to live here and I don't own you three any explanation because this is Payal's house and what belongs to her also belongs to her family and they have every right to stay here. " Arnav said and the trio were shocked but kept quiet not wanting to anger him more.

Khushi was shocked hearing Payal owns the house now.

After Arnav was done the Guptas and Preeto entered and were showed to their room to settle in.

Khushi's room was beside Arnav's room and she knew her sister and brother in law intentionally did it.

She was standing by the pool let the cool breeze engulf her when she hear the door open and out came Arnav who moved closer to her making her nervous but she put on a poker face.

Arnav smiled and moved closer to her.

"Are you comfortable? " Arnav asked in a husky voice and Khushi nodded and was moving away when Arnav held her shawl and yanked her towards him.

She gulped and closed her eyes when she felt the breath of Arnav on her cheek and a kiss followed next making her open her eyes in shock.

Khushi froze in shock at what Arnav did and he smirked and whispered into her ears.

"This is for making me believe your kisses were my hallucinations. " Khushi looked up at him in shock and Arnav smirked at her. " Don't look surprised my baby...... I am ASR and I was bound to find out it was real and as punishment for that..... Be prepared to get kissed every time I see you and I don't care where we are. "

He said and walked away leaving Khushi in shock because Arnav just called her baby, surprised and embarrassed at being caught and she gulp knowing Arnav was definitely going to do as he says.

Her reverie was broken by a knock on the door and she moved in and opened the door only to find Anjali there.

Anjali then held her hand and dragged her out to the garden.

She looked here and there and sighed and looked back at her.

"Khushiji...... I know this is not my business but I want you to be careful of Arnav..... He is secretly a womanizer and will break your heart...... You already know how many women the media has associated him with..... You are like a little sister to me and I don't want to see you hurt. " Anjali cried and Khushi placed her hand on her shoulders.

"Don't worry Anjaliji...... Am just playing Arnav. " Anjali looked up shocked hearing this. "All that you saw was just an act....... Am using Aarav to make him fall in love with me and when he least expected, I will break his heart and avenge the suffering I suffered at his hands and how he treated you horribly that day. " Khushi said and Anjali smiled and hugged her.

"Thank you so much Khushiji...... And please don't believe anything you hear about me..... They are all against me because I bailed Shyam but he deceived me and I fell for it just like you fell for his lies. " Anjali said and smiled at her and left smirking because she had recorded her conversation with Khushi.

What both women didn't know was that a pair of eyes and ears have heard and seen everything.

The entire family came down for lunch and Aarav sat on Khushi's lap and Khushi started feeding him and he also fed her back. They were so naturally bonded beyond any doubt.

Everyone looked at them in awe because if anyone was to walk in now, no one will believe they are not mother and son.

"Mummy..... Now that you are here..... Will you tell me bedtime stories...... I know am big and all but I want you to tell me bedtime stories because Papa is horrible at it. " Aarav said pouting and everyone laughed while Arnav  exclaimed.

"What the! "

"Don't worry baby.... I will always tell you all bedtime stories you want. " Khushi said and kissed his forehead and Aarav smiled hearing this. "And you Mr Raizada. " Arnav looked at her. "Stop cursing in front of the kids..... " Khushi scolded twitching her mouth and everyone with the exception of Anjali burst out in laughter.

"Laugh all you want..... Because she is going to break your heart soon. " Anjali thought and smirked which didn't go unnoticed by the person who heard their conversation.

They all finished their lunch and moved to the hall when Surbhi asked.

"Lavanya dear...... Where are your parent?"

This shocked everyone and Lavanya who had come to like this woman knew it will be a sin lying to her.

"I don't exist to them anymore because I can't provide for my mother's ridiculous shopping spree and my father's gambling debts...... Am not a good person ma'am..... And there are people in this room I have really hurt because of my horrible behavior in the past...... " Lavanya cried shocking Surbhi and Manoj and she began telling them how she use to steal the designs from others and passing it off as her, her maltreatment of Khushi, her being Arnav's paid fake fiancee and finally the event leading to her marriage to Nk.

Surbhi and Manoj couldn't believe this girl was married to their son's wife making her their daughter in law.

But there was one thing everyone noticed and that was the honesty in her voice.

Manoj and Surbhi looked at her the family and immediately knew from their expression, they all knew and was a little bit disappointed.

Lavanya saw this and decided to diffuse the situation.

"Mr and Mrs Mehra..... Please don't blame them..... Your son will have definitely told you but then you showed up so unexpectedly and I didn't want him getting into trouble but also I couldn't keep on lying to good people like you that's whyi told you the truth..... Please don't take put your anger on them.... I am the only one who deserves that anger and don't worry...... No one will know am Nk's wife and I did some research yesterday and we can get divorced in three weeks from now..... So please don't worry about anyone finding out. " Lavanya explained and the Mehras nodded.

Lavanya stood up and was about to leave when the door bell rang and Hari Prakash went to open it and gulped seeing the police at the door.

He let them in and the entire family stood up in confusion seeing the police in the house.

The woman among them moved closer and greeted them.

"What can we do for you? " Arnav asked and the woman took off her shades.

"We are hear to speak to Miss Anjali Singh Raizada. " She answered and everyone turned to Anjali and she gulped hearing this.

"Is there any problem? " Nani asked.

"It will depend on the answer your granddaughter gives us ma'am. " She replied and Anjali who was confused became even more nervous hearing her reply. "Please let's all have a sit and please do send the kids away because this is not children stuff. " She said and Hari Prakash was called and asked to take the kids to their playroom.

After they were gone the police woman asked them to sit and turned to Anjali and placed a recorder on the center table.

"Do you know a couple by name Nakul and Soha Singh? "

Anjali knew better not to lie.

"Yes I do. "

"How do you know them or what is your relationship with them? "

"They were poor couple I help by giving them money every month..... " Anjali replied shocking all.

Arnav and Akash in particular knew she was lying because her salary is not enough for her left alone give someone some.

"How long have you known them? "

"I have known them for the past five years. " Anjali replied nervously while fidgeting with a her saree.

The lady paused and glared at her for sometime and continued.

"Are you involved in any illegal activities? "

Anjali's eyes widen in shock hearing this and so did the others except Akash and Arnav.

"No..... Am not involved in any illegal activities. " Anjali replied in shock.

The lady sighed knowing she was telling the truth but her instincts told her she was hiding something and the  couple had something to do with it.

"Tanu..... Please what's all this about? " Akash asked shocking everyone because he mentioned her name.

"Akash..... Do you know her? " Payal asked and he nodded.

"She is the second in command at the police station where Aditya oversees. " Akash replied.

"I know you are good friends with Aditya that's why I came here to question your sister instead having her brought to the station for questioning...... And back to your question..... The couple has been under our radar for suspected child trafficking and last night they were involved in an accident that killed them instantly. " She revealed to Akash and the others were shocked but she was watching Anjali sigh in relief instead of being shocked and she immediately knew there was more to her relationship with the couple than she is tell them. "Upon further investigation into their activities..... We found your sister's number multiple times on their call log...... But she has told us the reason she was in contact with them but I want all of your to know that if in our investigation we find out your sister is lying then we won't hesitate to arrest her. " Tanu said sternly and Anjali gulped in fear.

"Hello hi bye bye...... Why are you involved with such people?.... And where did you get the money to help them. " Mami asked unable to figure out how she could help them when she can barely get by on her salary.

"Am sorry I didn't know they were bad people..... I met them at the temple and they told me a story about how their daughter left them and sold their house and belongings...... And since then I have been helping them with the little money I get from an investment I made with the money Arnav use to give me before everything changed. " Anjali cried and continued. "Am not a criminal and I will never hurt children by selling them..... You have to believe me. "

Tanu nodded and took her leave leaving the family behind.

"Just pray that all that you've told us is true because if it's not and they find out your are involved..... Then I will personally make sure you rot in jail. " Arnav said and walked away making Anjali gulped in fear.
