Story description: Helen parr saw him one night saving a woman from a mugging, she was concerned what a child the age of her own daughter was doing out doing hero work. that concern kept growing as she kept seeing him almost every night on her patrol

*it's been months since Winston reinstalled pro heroes in America her family especially Bob was thrilled. Less so tonight as it was his turn to watch the kids. Helen couldn't help but smirk at the thought since dash had a huge project he needed help with and that was bob's problem now*

???:help someone help!!

*Helen stopped her thoughts and went to the source of the distress call, she saw a woman fighting a mugger over her purse, the mugger managed to grab the purse and started running, just as Helen was about to go in to action a shadow dropped on the petty thief and started beating on him over and over again until they all heard a crunching sound of a nose being broken. The shadow came in to the light and both woman got a good look at him*

Izuku;your purse ma'am i um....s...sorry about the blood

*Izuku said a bit awkwardly as he gave the purse to the woman who took it and smile at the boy. Helen frowned seeing him*

Helen"who is he? He wasn't at Winston's agency, nor have I ever seen him before and how small is he, he's just a little shorter then violet where are his parents ?"

*As soon as the older woman walked away, Helen walked up to him eating a chocolate bar the nice lady gave as thanks*

Helen:excuse me?

*Helen noticed him flinching and one hand instinctively holding the hilt of his blade as he looked at her. Helen gave the boy a small smile of reassurance but it did very little to calm the boy down*

Izuku: your... elastic girl

Helen: yes i am, couldn't help but see what you did there it was very brave of you helping that woman but shouldn't you be at home?

Izuku;tch mind your own business lady

*Izuku walked away, Helen was taken aback by the crude response enough to make herself not move for a moment but that was enough for izuku to go in to the shadows and disappear for the night*

Scene change

Winston:no, sorry Helen can't seem to find anyone in the database that matches that description

*We see Helen at home in her bed, she asked Winston if he's heard of that boy before*

Helen:alright thanks Winston

Winston:if you see him again take a picture it should help me find him better

*Helen hung up and sighed. Bob looked at his wife and placed his book on his nightstand*

Bob: something on your mind? Well apart from that Boy

Helen:nope just the boy.... he's too young bob, someone that young shouldn't be out there risking his life, he should be in school being nervous to ask his crush out on a date, he should be nervous of his next test not fighting crime

Bob:I'm sure you'll see him again, only maybe try a more...gentle approach. It sounded to me like you insulted him or at least he thought you insulted him

Helen:hm....

Scene change

*Nothing, she has been out on patrol for almost a week and he has yet to see the mysterious boy. We see her finishing her patrol bob had to work early tomorrow so she had to take his night shift, as she was about to leave she heard a ruckus on the alley she looked down seeing a man being throwned to a pile of trashcans while 3 others sorrounded a boy*

Mark:wrong move buddy now your gonna wish we only wanted your sword

Helen:sword? The boy!

*Helen made her way down as she was falling izuku managed to make one of the adults fall on the ground but another one managed to slam his bat on izuku's back making him grunt and fall. Izuku rolled as he fell to minimize the damage, he got up with his sword out*

Izuku:you wanted my odachi? Come and get it

*Izuku said coldly as his eyes surveyed the situation. Just as the two of them were about to attack him both were wrapped around by of pair of elastic arms and slammed in to each other knocking them unconscious, Helen let them fall on top of the third making him go out too. Helen appeared in front of izuku who was scowling at her*

Izuku:i didn't need your help

Helen;a thank you would be appreciated

Izuku:tch.

*Izuku puts back his blade in place and turned around*

Izuku:stay out of my way, I'm strong enough to take care of things on my own

Helen: didn't your mother teach you some manners

*Izuku turned around with a. Furious expression*

Izuku:don't you dare speak about my mother!!

*Helen looked surprised at the outburst, that surprised quickly morphed in to concerned as she saw a few tears coming down from the boys face. She saw the boy go in to panic over his slip up*

Helen:hey it's ok it's...

*Izuku took a small ball and slammed it in to the ground creating a white light that blinded Helen. When she got her vision back she saw the boy was gone*

Scene change

*Helen figured out that the boy only works at night so she took the night patrole exclusively to find him again. Helen jumped down just in time to see Izuku punch a man with a shark face mouth breaking his teeth, Helen tapped the man shoulder he looked and received a right hook from her knocking her out cold*

Izuku:i thought i told you the last time to stay out of my way

*Helen didn't say anything this time not wanting to scare him off. She looked at him and her eyes widen a little as he had a black eye and it was not new*

Helen;what happened to your eye?

Izuku:.....

Helen:I'm not judging, I'm not saying you are weak please i just want to know

Izuku:...i got jumped by the gang that's been growing down town managed to beat up a good number of them before i was overpowered and well....

*Izuku got up and started walking away but flinch when he felt Helen's hand on his shoulder he slapped it away and looked at her*

Helen: before you go can i see the extent of the damage?

*Izuku sighed to tired to put up a fight and raised untied his cloak, Helen gave a small gasp as izuku's body was black and blue that he could move at all was nothing short of a miracle, what made her sick to the stomach was that izuku was using what looks like rags as bandages. Helen placed the fact the his body type proves he's no older then violet or the fact that she could almost see his ribs at the back of her mind for now*

Helen:you need to go to the hospital.

*Helen said in a tone that left no room for discussion, but izuku scoffed and found room*

Izuku:I'm fine

Helen:this! Is not fine young man!

Izuku:for you, for me this is nothing i just can't go to the hospital, I'm not going back to one

*Helen noticed the fear in izuku's tone as she gave a small sigh*

Helen:what if i go with you?

Izuku:huh?

Helen:if, i go with you will you go? I promise I won't leave your side and nothing will happen I'll be there to protect you

Izuku:....i don't go to the hospital not because of what happened to me elastic girl, i don't go because I'm a kid on the run been that way since i was 4 if i go they'll but me in the system and....the people I'm running from will find me

*Izuku said softly hugging himself remembering what happened the last time someone from his past found him*

Helen:you poor child

Izuku:i don't need your...

*But it was too late izuku was wrapped in to a hug only a mother could give, izuku didn't move for a moment didn't even breath as involuntary tears fell from her face. Helen felt the trembling hands of izuku slowly hug her back making her smile as she heard izuku sniffling a little*

Helen:ok, then at least take this

*Helen let go of the hug and she could tell izuku didn't want to let go but he did so reluctantly. He cleaned his face as Helen gave him a phone. Izuku looked at the woman confused*

Helen: everybody's luck eventually runs out, I'm not calling you weak it's just a fact in the hero business so when yours run out call me so I can help you

*Izuku grabbed the phone and looked at it, he looked up but elastic girl was gone*

Izuku:.....it's annoying when you do it

*Izuku mumbled as he placed the phone in his pocket and walked away*

Scene change

*Izuku disarmed a gunman and punched his lights out, he looked at the couple and there child who still looked a little scared*

Izuku:word to the wise, next time to come to a place called crime alley looking like that now go back the way you came before someone else gets to you

Thomas;yes, thank you.....

Izuku:ronin

Martha:thank you ronin

*Martha grabbed her son in her arms and walked away with her husband, izuku sighed leaning against the wall, feeling the hunger in his stomach grow*

Izuku: hopefully I'll find something in the dumpsters after my shift...

*Izuku mumbled to himself when he heard two people jumping a distance behind him he looked and saw elastic girl and....someone else*

Bob:you did good work out there

Izuku:thank you....whoever you are

Helen:oh right, ronin this is my husband Mr. Incredible

Izuku:....if he's your husband shouldn't your hero name be Mrs. Incredible?

*Bob snorted and tried to keep himself from laughing since he and Helen had this discussion so many times*

Bob: I like you already kid mind if we talk?

Izuku: we're talking right now

Helen;we ment in a more... private setting

Izuku: private meaning?

Bob:well there's an IHOP not far from him

*Izuku eyes widen a little at that making Helen smile. She had great hearing and heard what izuku said about fishing dumpsters for food*

Izuku:i.... don't have any money for that

Bob: nonsense it's our treat eat as much as you want

*Izuku licked his lips calculating in his mind if it was worth if, the hunger in his stomach decided for him más he nodded*

Bob:great let's change to our civilian clothes and meet back here in 5

5 minutes later

*The incredibles were confused as izuku didn't go and change just stayed there waiting for them*

Bob:uh, kid where's your clothes?

Izuku;this are the only clothes i own are we going?

*Bob now knew why Helen was so concerned as he was starting to get the same feeling with a nod they left to talk*

At IHOP

*We see them sitting waiting to be served, izuku shifting around nervously last time he had a talk with adults.... didn't end so good for him, izuku coughed and started the conversation*

Izuku:so....what do you want to know?

Bob: that can wait till after breakfast you must be hungry

*Izuku just nodded and took a look at the menu and frowned*

Izuku:of course it doesn't have pictures

*Izuku mumbled bitterly to himself only this time both adult heard it*

Helen:you... once told me you've been on the run since you were 4

Izuku:yeah what about it?

Bob:do you...do you not know how to read?

Izuku:....i don't need to read to save people...

*Izuku looked out the window and just waited for the waitress, bob and Helen looked at him concern, before they could question him more the waitress arrived*

Melissa:hello sorry for the wait I'm still new at this, my dad wanted me to be more independent and so....

Izuku:i don't remember asking for a life story

*Izuku grunted and glared at Helen who glared right back. Helen ended up winning with her mother's glare rather then izuku's with his moody teenager glare*

Izuku:sorry....

*Izuku muttered looking at the ground while Melissa giggled still giving a bright smile*

Melissa:that's fine you aren't the first one to say that. So what do you want? Wait that's not right....

Izuku:how can I serve you

Melissa:yes!! Yes! How can I serve you?

*Izuku looked at the girl mildly amused someone could be so upbeat he flinched when he heard Bob cough*

Bob:uh yeah I'll have the chicken and waffle combo

Helen:French toast combo

Izuku; I'll um...have the French toast combo too

Melissa:ok! I'll have that served do you in a jiffy!

*Melissa left to the kitchen with izuku watching her go, making Bob chuckle*

Bob:ah to be young and with a crush

*Izuku actually blush at this and just looked down muttering something in Japanese, Helen smiled at this as ronin actually looked like a normal kid*

Helen:alright we've teased you enough, we bought you breakfast hope that means you'll be open to answer some questions honestly

Izuku:..... I'll give you 5 questions

Helen:how old are you?

Izuku:turned 15 last month

Bob:why are you risking yourself to save people? You're just a little kid hell your the same age as our daughter

Izuku: long question.

*Izuku glanced at his blade then back at the two adults*

Izuku:someone risked her life for me, so i risk my life for others to honor her

Helen:was that person your mother?

*Bob glanced down and saw izuku bending the fork*

Bob "his mother is clearly a touchy subject"

Izuku:that counts as 2 questions, and yes she risked her life so that i could have a better life outside the island

Bob:island?

Izuku:Japan and that makes 5

*Bob cursed under his breath as they both wanted to know where he was living and if it was at least a safe place. The food came and they ate in silence  with Bob encouraging izuku to take seconds and thirds which he did reluctantly not used to having a male figure be nice to him at least not since before he was 4*

Scene change

*The Parr's were having a family movie night when her phone rang, confused she picked it up. On the other side of the line she heard coughing and what sounded like spitting before just heavy breathing*

Helen:hello? Who is this?

Izuku:izu....ronin...it's ronin my....my luck ran out, my god did it ever run out

Helen: your luck what are you....

*Helen froze as she remembered what she said her mood instantly got serious*

Helen:where are you?

Izuku:remember when i told you about that gang down town ? In there hideout location xxxx xxxx xxxx

Helen: we'll be there soon just hold on

*Helen hung up and got up, her family looked at her with confusion and concerned but Bob had a feeling what this was about, so he got up*

Bob:violet your in charge until we get back

*Bob and Helen quickly got changed and drove to the location "

Scene change

*Elastic girl and Mr. Incredible walked through the hideout seeing multiple bullet holes and men on the ground all alive just knocked out*

Helen:ronin!!

*The adults heard a groaning as a response and went running bob broke open a door and saw izuku in a chair, Helen gasped as his sword as broken I'm two and both pieces were now jammed inside his body, there was blood coming down a pretty big gash from his shoulder and both could tell it was dislocated, bob walked up to izuku and picked him up*

Bob:don't worry kid we'll get you to the hospital

Izuku;no... hospitals....

Helen:that's not an option anymore ronin

Izuku:innocent...basement...

*Izuku passed out from the blood loss*

Bob: I'll take care of him, you go see what he meant by that

Helen: call Winston he should have a doctor that won't put him in a system

*Helen and Bob nodded and they went there separate ways, Helen walked down to the basement and opened the door, and her eyes widen what she saw made her blood boil as in front of here was multiple men woman and children in cages*

Helen"a 15 year old just stopped a human trafficking without killing anyone it would be impressive if i haven't seen the state he was in"

*Helen thought before walking forward to help*

Scene change

*Helen made it to her home and what a sight was waiting for her, there was Winston waiting with bob while izuku was sleeping on the couch his chest and arms filled with bandages, she saw a private doctor putting bullets and ronin's sword in a bag to throw out*

Helen:how is he?

Doctor: malnourished, multiple broken bone, multiple fractured bones that were there before his last fight, a lot of blood loss, I'll be honest it's a miracle this kid saw 15 but he'll make it

*Helen sighed and nodded as Winston got up*

Winston:got his blood test meet izuku Yagi of Japan.....

Helen:why don't you sound happy about that?

Bob:honey....what do you know about Japan?

Helen:it was the only place in the world that still allowed heroes

Winston:yes there whole sociaty is about who has the more flashy power or how they call them quirks, if your born without one....you are executed on the spot

*Bob catched Helen as her legs gave out, she couldn't believe what she just heard she looked at izuku who was still sleeping

Helen:what's gonna happen to him?

Winston: legally we're supposed to bring him to a Japanese embassy and let them deal with him

*The absolute murderous glare Helen gave Winston made him jump and put his hands forward*

Winston: obviously we're not gonna do that ! But....he can't ran forever sooner or later if something doesn't change he will be sent back to Japan

Bob:what can we do?

Winston:his best bet is for adoption that would make him an American citizen and protected under the law the Japanese could do nothing to harm him

*Bob and Helen only needed to look at each other once before nodding*

Helen:what do we need to sign?

Scene change

Violet:dash leave him alone

*We see Violet on babysitter duty while there parents were both called to do hero work*

Dash:buts it's been 4 days shouldn't he have woken up by now?

Violet:you saw how he was when dad brought him home the more he sleeps the more he'll heal

Dash:still it's just so cool he gets to go out and be a hero!

*Violet sighed and walked away to the get jack-jack when she saw he wasn't there she groaned*

Violet:dash, jack-jack got out again!

Dash:he's down here!

*Violet walked down stairs and almost screamed as jack-jack somehow made it on top of the cealing fan and dash was trying to get him down with a broom*

Dash:come on jack-jack just grabbed the frickin broom!

*Jack-jack fell making both kids scream and jump to save him both missing they looked and jack-jack was in the arms of izuku*

Izuku: can't get a moments peace

*Izuku muttered before giving the baby to a shocked violet, izuku looked at one of his arms and clicked his tongue jumping in to save the baby opened up one of his wounds*

Izuku:kid you got superspeed right?

Dash:uh y..yeah!

Izuku:great. Get me a needle, thread, a candle and a lighter

*Dash, dashed to get the items as izuku unwrapped his arm*

Violet:how long have you been awake?

Izuku:since last night didn't see the harm in sleeping an extra day

*Dash came back as izuku took the lighter and lighted the candle. After that he took the needle and thread and started stitching his wound back closed*

Dash:what was the candle for?

Izuku:for this

*Izuku grabbed a pillow putting it in his mouth before grabbing the candle and spilling the hot wax on his wound to seal it up, izuku gave a muffled screamed as he did it and spit the pillow out when he was done*

Violet/dash:awsome/gross!

Izuku: neither just survival. Now can you two tell me where i am?
