Chapter 1 "prey"

"Hey runt let's play warriors you can be the prey" hissed Sharpkit "but I don't want to be the prey" Mintkit squeaked "TO BAD" snarled Sharpkit "leave her alone" chirped Gingerkit they were both her brothers but Gingerkit was a lot nicer to me "SHUT UP" Sharpkit snarled while he was yelling it gave Mintkit a chance to run to Shatteredhaze her mom so she did she sprang of with a thud, as soon as she was running she heard paw steps behind her she was being followed worry swormed through Mintkit would she make it? Scared she raced to her mom. (I made it!) She thought as she felt a cold painful rip down her back "HELP" she screamed Shatteredhaze came as soon as she could and asked what was wrong then looked at my back with wide eyes and picked Mintkit up and sprang to the medicine den as they were getting there she heard Sharpkit yell "THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR RUNNING AWAY" by now pain was swelling up in Mintkit she was crying with agony as they got in the medicine den .

the medicine cat had a worried look on her face what happened she asked me ''sharpkit attacked me'' i mumbled ''this is bad'' i heard Brightfern the medicine cat say ''could you go get foxpaw for me Shatteredhaze?'' of course said Mintkits mom  her back really hurt and when Foxpaw got hear i heard Brightfern mumble ''i think she has a bad infection in her back i need you to go get some colts foot and poppy seeds for Mintkit'' ''yes mam'' Foxpaw replied and skipped off i could hear Shatteredhaze quietly mumbling slash crying in a soft whisper ''mom am i going to be okay'' i waled ''yes you are'' i heard the slightest regret in her tone
