Julia's POV

"Hey Jules!"
I heard one of my closest guy friends, Lyndon, call out.
"Yes?" I replied shouting slightly back because he was a bit far from where I was standing on the sidewalk. Lyndon, and my other best guy friend, Ryker, both liked to call me Jules. Even though my full name is Julia. I think it's just a thing that they do.
I turned my head to see Lyndon slowly jogging up to where I was with his whiteish brown hair blowing gently in the breeze. He finally caught up to me.
"Are you excited for the last day of college?" He asked nudging my shoulder.

"Eh, I guess. It's just-"

"That it's all going to be over today?"

"..Yeah." I said looking at him.

"It's pretty crazy that we are going to have to get actual jobs and everything."

"Yes, yes. Do you even have an idea what you're going to do?"

"Nope!" He said smiling, while laughing a little.

Soon after that, Ryker, on his skateboard, rode up to us on the sidewalk. "Yo." He casually said, picking up his skateboard. He ran his hand through his dark drown hair, almost black, with blue tips at the end of his hair.

"Stop trying to act cool, ya doof." I laughed playfully punching his shoulder.

"Ha, okay. At least I'm cooler than this guy over here." He pointed his thumb at Lyndon.

"Nah, I'm definitely cooler than you." He retaliated.

"Aw come on dude, you know I'm cooler."

"No I don't." Ryker chuckled.

"Girls, girls. Stop fighting you're both pretty." I said rolling my eyes smiling.

"Heck yeah I am." Ryker did a hair flip...even though his hair is too short for it.

"Nuh-uh, honey, let me show you how it's done." I winked doing a hair flip, then ending in a sassy pose.

"You're right, you are pretty." Ryker and Lyndon both managed to say that at the same time. They both looked at one another very confused, sort of like a 'I have no idea how that just happened' kind of look.
I stood up on my tippy toes, being really short, and messed up the two guy's hair. "My two favorite knuckle heads." I laughed, continuing to walk.
After a few minutes, we reached the tall school building. Everyone was walking around the campus, it was crazy, but it's crazy everyday. Just, this is more chaotic because it's the last day. I turned my head and I saw one of the professors chasing two kids, they probably pranked the teacher or something. Another kid was skateboarding on the railing to the stairs, and one person was trying to hang balloons everywhere.

"God dang, I've never seen everyone so excited." I said under my breath.

"Why? You're not excited?" Ryker asked.

"No I am it's just all these people are too crazy." I said putting a hand on my hip.

"Ah, well should we join them?" Lyndon joined in.

"Let's wait a few minutes." I said walking closer to the building. Until, one of my best friends, Abbi, ran up to me with her purple pink hair flowing behind her.

"Ahhh!! You're here I didn't think you'd come!" She said hugging me.

"Why wouldn't I come on the last day?" I said laughing.

"Because it's the last day?" She says slowly.

"Yeah yeah that makes sense-" I said, before being cut off by her dragging me over to the side.

"Oh- um be right back Lyndon and Ryker-" I said to them as they both started talking to them.

"Okaaayyy!" She said excitedly.

"What is it?" I said crossing my arms.

"I just got word that there is going to be a huge party on campus after college is done." She says happily.

"Aaaand?" I asked.

"Aannnddd it's kind of like a College prom! Where you have to find a date, and dress up all pretty- and then paarrrtaaayyyy!" She said bouncing on the souls of her heels.

"Oh really?! That sounds awesome!" I said, starting to get really anxious for the party.

"Yup! But, I came to ask you, who are you planning to take to the dance?" She said tilting her head to the side.

"Hm...I don't know. I mean it's not like I'm going to ask anyone, I'll have them ask me." I said, thinking about who would ask me.

"Well we both know there are two guys who are willing to." She motions her head towards Lyndon and Ryker.

"Ahaha very funny," I said, blushing only a little bit, "What about you Miss Abbi?" I said looking at her with a 'Hmmm??' type of face.

"N-No one!" She stuttered, "I mean- I'm not going to ask-" She was blushing turning her head to the side.

"Ask what?" I heard a voice say coming from behind Abbi. It was just her friend Theo.

"Gah-!" Abbi blurred out being scared by the voice just talking out of no where. Then, the six foot tall Theo walked over so Abbi could see him.

"O-Oh it's just you- okay." Abbi said running her hand in her hair.

"What? A-Are you not happy to see me?" He said, curiously.

"N-No! Of course I'm happy to see you! Why wouldn't I be-" She said looking up at him, because she's more than a foot shorter than him.

"You two would be such a cute-" I said softly before Abbi threw her arm over my mouth.

"No." She mouthed me not saying anything.

"Well gee fine then." I said quickly.

"Anyway..." Abbi continued, "Oh- right, um, Julia you can go back to Ryker and Lyndon if you want." She said looking at her feet. I shrugged, then walked back over to the two knuckleheads. I informed them about the party, and they both stared at each other for a second. I could've sworn they were telepathically talking to each other. Just then a loud bell went off, saying it was time to get to our first class. And, we all walked through the big oak doors. Then, split up going to our classes. But, sometimes we would all secretly go to the same class, no one seemed to really notice- or care for that matter. But, while I was in class I just started day dreaming about the party, and anxiously waited for the day to be over.
