There was a kingdom, that had a nice little royal family. it consisted of the king and queen, their twin daughters Rachel and Ronna, and their young son Alexander. This family seemed so nice, happy, and perfect to the outside world, the people of the kingdom were treated so well and the royals just seemed perfect, almost like gods. But they were truly nothing like that, was one of utmost evil beyond her facade of kindness and respect for her people, she would abuse the power of her husband's name at times and he even feared her slightly, to the point where he's wrapped so tightly around her fingers.

the daughters are treated unfairly behind the doors of the castles, one who was destined to become a great holder to the throne once of age, a heart said to be as pure as gold. the other was shunned by her parents, having been told one of their daughters would hold a great evil inside her, just like the mother. The queen chose favorites and one day she will regret it. Ronna was the beloved golden child, her eyes shone like the rarest rubies as she awoke, today was a special day for her as she was finally of age to take the throne. As for Rachel, the king's power wasn't the only thing the queen had abused. Rachel was the labeled rotten child, were in the midst of her brown locks was a small white one. Her mother became weary of that lock since she was young and had soon destroyed the pureness of her heart piece by piece. Rachel hadn't let it ruin her in the slightest though, as she may not look it, she was very much strong and she hadn't broken down so easily for her mother. the twins got ready for Ronna's coronation, and as for the day, it had sailed smoothly until the dinner. Rachel had gone to her sister to personally congratulate her, bringing her a plate of food as well. She went up to her with a smile before her dress had tripped her, the plane flew from her hands and onto her sister, covering Ronna in the grease of the food and staining her dress. Ronna stood there, staring at her sister with a look mixed with enragement and mortification, her mother's rotten attitude had flown out of her. "how dare you do this to me! make a fool out of me in front of all of which are my people now!" Ronna had shouted at her poor sister, who was on the floor in tears at what she had just done, she couldn't withstand the yelling of her own sister and fled from the castle, into the forbidden forest.

Rachel ran deep into the forest, finding a slow, calming river to rest by as she just cried. what had she done to deserve this from her own family? was her mother right? she cried for what felt like hours, by the time she had opened her eyes all she saw were horrific black creatures around her, all but one had glowing red eyes, growling as they surrounded her, she noticed that the river wasn't water anymore but a disgusting black sludge that trudged slowly downstream to the ocean. She watched in horror as one of these wolf-bear-like creatures immerged from the sludge and onto the ground a few feet away from her before starting to howl. the one that just happened to have a set of soft-glowing blue eyes had gone up to her, she looked the creature in the eyes with fear, but the longer she stared at the creature, the less afraid she became. so many voices were speaking all at once to her until one powered over them all "Let's Go Home". She had made a friend that day but never came home.

It wasn't till the creatures attacked the kingdom later on that they knew, darkness had been the new friend as she had ridden the blue eye creature to her old palace, to say goodbye to the terrible family she once knew as her own.

Alternate ending

As the new queen yelled to her sister, showing her true colors of not just herself, but of her family as well, she began to change to fit what cruelness grew in the "golden" girl's heart. The guests cried in terror as they all fled from the castle as their queen turned into a beast, some sort of demon, growing horns and a tail, soon even a pair of wings. Her nails grew into claws, her dress ripping as she grew and her skin molted into scales. The pain Ronna felt as she changed into a hideous beast had made her strike her mother far from her, her siblings already having fled the castle as her pain continued to grow. As the screams turned into fearful roars, the castle fell apart as it had shown, their queen was changed to a horrific dragon who would forever torment the land.
