Stealing this concept from Molly and Zoe, where all YouTubers have this one town where work and hang out

From here I'm expanding/altering it for my world stuff, that it's a full world off of HUB full of sets and locations and stages and all that kind of stuff. Different follower/subscriber counts get you access to different parts of the major city where the Big Ones hang out. I guess like 30,000+ is kind of where you start to be recognized and have cool perks and such?

I'm nowhere near 30,000+, but I'm allowed into the area to some extent to help a YouTuber, QuteJakey, who does Minecraft machinimas (totally go check him out I actually do help on the production team and his role plays are like actual TV shows in Minecraft and it's really truly amazing) produce his shows.

This is also based off of our RP that I haven't talked much about, but quick version we needed Grian and Xisuma to come to Kermitcraft to help fix NPG and get incredibly tangled up/reveal some secrets with a power we can't handle who wants us permanently dead. Yeah, it's an absolute mess and we're all wondering how we're still alive halfway through

Becca threw the latest costume into the shulker box, along with her Magiclicas Shorts drafts she had been playing around with, and picked it up and dodged back into the crowd of the busy subset of HUB where YouTubers and other content creators worked. It was weird, how HUB itself seemed to evolve to include what almost was its own world for a class of people that had only come about in the past few generations.

She quickly dismissed the wondering, knowing she had work to do. She strode up to the gates of the next sector, getting scrutinizing looks from the crowd that a girl like her would even think of approaching this area.

But Becca easily scanned her phone across the sensor and the gate slid open, and no one stopped her. She had access to the Big Ones Area, as she called it since she could not for the life of her find out what it's actually called, although not because she was actually famous. Rather that she helped out one of the Big Ones, a YouTuber called QuteJakey, produce his show on the sets around here and in another smaller world. She hoped to get here of her own accord one day, but for now, she was honored to be able to walk these streets where some of the most famous celebrities and players of all time had walked just from this.

She looked around as she went- the shulker box wasn't incredibly heavy so it wasn't an issue to lift. There was Jessica and Jason, AKA Aphmau and Aaron, sitting with their family at a cafe, their two oldest kids laughing and playing with Jet the corgi. Becca smiled and glanced away, not wanting to intrude on their privacy, and turned the street to where most of the sets and studios were located.

Immediately, she bumped into someone. She jumped back and apologized.

"Oh gosh, so sorry-"

"No problem. Hey, haven't I seen you around?" Becca found herself looking at one of more famous of the new group of rising celebrities, TheFamousFilms, AKA Bryan.

She tucked the shulker box under an arm. "Uh, yeah maybe. I'm a mod on Jakey's channel and I'm on Mineteria, but I don't think we've met personally?" Becca explained quickly, ducking her head and averting eye contact with the much more respected male.

He smiled. "Ah, I see. I'd love to stay and chat, but I've got a Origins of Olympus recording session to get to. I think Jakey's going to be there too, so you might just want to drop that box off at the studio and not wait around. Anyway, say hi next time we meet!" Bryan then quickly waved goodbye and continued on his way before stopping at some point, messing with his server access band, and teleporting to what Becca could only guess was the OoO server.

She laughed to herself, shaken slightly at meeting one of more popular roleplayers around here, before shaking her head ever so slightly and continuing onto the Magiclicas Studio. He had been right, the building's windows were dark. Becca scanned her phone and slipped through the door as it opened and closing it as quickly as she had come. Hurrying through the offices she got to the one labeled "Skin Design Team Managers" and placed the shulker box down on her desk of the three.

Alright that's done! Now all I gotta do is figure out the writing team stuff from home, and I think I'm caught up on my responsibilities.

Becca's mind quickly flashed to her office on Kermitcraft, quartz and sandstone and spruce leaves and lots of books. It wasn't a place where she spent a lot of time, but it was the perfect zone for when she needed to get work done from home.

She turned off the lights and walked back down the fall, opening and closing the dark oak door again and looking around the machinima district with a familiar smile. She loved the film area, there was something fascinating about how it all worked to use technology to create fantasy.

But now she really had to leave. Becca never really felt comfortable here on her own, not without others from the team to screw around with and forget their status amongst the greats. She started to head for the exit, before someone called her name.

"Hey! Becca?"

"Yeah?" the blonde responded immediately and scanned the crowd for someone she knew. That voice sounded familiar, although she couldn't place whose on the team it was-

Until she spotted a red sweater dodging and weaving as he tried to balance a bunch of camera equipment.

"Holy heck, Grian?!" Becca exclaimed. The builder grinned and waved before he quickly took a terrified look and scrambled to catch his tripod.

Becca ran and caught it with her foot, quickly launching it into her hand and looking at him wide-eyed. "Um, hi?"

"Woah, you handled that well," Grian commented and reached for the tripod. Becca eyed the other mess of equipment he had on him.

"Are you sure? You look kinda bogged down there," she asked slowly.

He glanced at the mess in his arms and shrugged, juggling a camera that Becca immediately reached down and caught before it hit the floor. She laughed nervously and slipped the little handheld around her hand.

"I'll help you get wherever you're going," she offered.

Grian brightened. "Thanks! Well, you can't go to Hermitcraft, but I appreciate the help," he chuckled. Becca nodded.

"I get it. What do you need all this camera equipment for anyway? Don't you have camera stuff already for your videos?" she asked, tilting her head and letting her long, straight hair fall to the side some.

He shrugged. "Hermit News, all I'm gonna say."

"Ahhhhhh valid."

"What are you doing here?" Grian questioned, "Are you some secret famous username I'm not familiar with?"

"Oh heck no I wish!" Becca barked out a laugh. "I just help out with a roleplay here. Nah, I'm just a small streamer with big dreams," she smiled with a shrug, quickly shifting her head to look away.

First I meet Grian on our server in private and deal with a mess, now I'm here in public with him. I'm so screwed I'm not going to hear the end of this. Help?!?!?

Grian grinned. "I bet you'll get there someday! You've got the skills to, after what went down on your server," he decided with a nod. "If you were stubborn enough to fight Kala head on, I think you could be determined enough to do videos and streams."

"I- I- oh, wow, okay. I'm sure how to respond to that. Thanks for the vote of confidence?" Becca questioned. How does one respond to being told that she might actually be able to do this by one of the greatest builders and video producers of the decade?

Grian simply laughed and shrugged lightly and promptly proceeded to trip over a cord. Becca reached to help, nearly throwing the small camera strap off her hand, but the strawberry blonde managed to catch himself and freeze before giving her a quirky thumbs up. They chatted as Grian led them along, Becca still a little timid but at the same time acting differently than she normally did in Kermitcraft. Maybe it was that she was talking with someone who she idolized, no matter how they had met in the past, or that he understood a side of her no one else did on her home server with the video making.

Finally, Grian stopped in front of a decent-sized modern house.

"Well, this is my place here. I guess since you can't come onto Hermitcraft, you can leave what you're carrying here and I'll hop back and forth a few times and set it up. It was nice talking to you again! Especially not under life-threatening circumstances..." Grian's tone dipped at that last part as they both turned solemn, remember what had happened on the Kermitcraft server that had nearly sent everyone involved to their permanent deaths.

Becca nodded. "Agreed. It was an honor, as per usual," she agreed and hesitated as she thought of something else to say.

Do I say that? Am I being too upfront?

"Hey, if you ever want... you and X, and anyone else! Are always welcome on KC."

The words had left Becca's mouth before she had realized it and backed out and she quickly tried to save her dignity.

"I know this is super upfront and weird, but I thought you never know-"

Grian laughed, making the humble teenager that acted much older than she really was freeze.

"I'll tell X we're allowed to come visit. I think it would be fun to come back! Besides, I never even got to see your base but you always seemed rather proud of it when you mentioned it," he said with a twinkle in his eyes. Becca ducked her head, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Alright then, if you say so..."

Grian scooped up some of the video equipment and with one last wave quickly disappeared in front of Becca's eyes.

"That was sure something," she breathed, before looking around and deciding she better get out of the housing area before people started to ask questions.

I've mentioned that this book is just a bunch of self-indulgent writings since I never actually write myself, right?
