(Edd no. 2)

Ugh.... The minnow just had to switch with pumpkin didn't he? I prefer talking to him in the back of the mind where I can hurt him without actually hurting his body. Now he can freely irritate me without me magically having a bat in my hand to hurt him with.
And don't get me started on Stephen, both sides are flirty and too touchy-feely, especially for the other Stephen. It's disgusting to the point where I want to hurl. I wonder how little Edd put up with him honestly.

"Thank you again Madame Grece." the skeleton took and stroke the woman's hand. I could feel Edd's anxiety run through me from the gesture.

"And this is why I personally don't like the skeleton." I muttered under my breath.

Apparently I caught a certain smartass' attention, "Did you say something?" He asked getting too close for my comfort.

"Nothing to your ugly mug." I spat shoving him away.

Kevin feigned emotionally hurt and placed his nub over his heart. "You wound me Eddward even though I share the same face as your beloved."

I turned away from him begging for someone to shoot me.

He means well, Eddward.

I snorted at myself unconvinced. If he meant well then he'll respect my space.

You are just like a cat.

"And you are surprised by this how?" I grumbled catching sight of myself in a mirror hanging on one of the walls.

"You shouldn't talk to yourself out loud like that. Folks will think you're nuts." Kevin pointed out approaching me from behind.

"We are in Bottom Ground, Barr. Everyone talks to themselves here." I walked toward the door.
I was stopped by a gloved right hand grabbing my wrist.

"Do not be rash, Eddward." Stephen begged gently. "It is a new chapter for this story."

"Then let's celebrate!" Kevin cheered. I swear I am going to shove him in a trash can and have him sent back to the residency. "To the start of new times and a new adventure."

"Here, here." Stephen agreed cheerfully.

I groaned at their optimism, not wanting to be a part of any of it. But they are right. To a new chapter, I guess.

I know it's short but it's the final chapter. The next book will mainly consist of the Kevin's trying to cope with each other. So keep and eye for the next book!!
